Finished eating, Miles looked at his Jacket. He had gotten some of the food on it. “Well, hope we don't have to go far to train."Miles asked Naka since he was allowed to go with them. It would be interesting to see how Sorcha’s powers worked. Hearing her comment on how her shields became flame when she was angry Miles figured that’s why Naka wanted the sword to have emotional control.

“I’ll take Cyan to his room,” Miles said, “I want to change my jacket to something a little more clean.” Miles grabbed the bag he had brought down with him and went over to pick up the weasel. “Be back in a second,” Miles said and turned to Cyan, “What room is yours?” Miles thought about the fact that he was Naka and Tien’s roommate. Miles thought to himself “Neither of Naka’s roommates are human.” He couldn't really talk about roommates since he didn't have any. Miles wondered if he had packed any snacks in his suitcase with his clothes. Miles began to walk to the boys dormrooms with that thought.

Naka stopped Miles before he could go.
"I wirr take him. I need to grab a few things if there is going to be a training session." With that he activated his new mode, suddenly feeling much much colder, but he took to the air with Cyan and simply entered through the window into their dorm. With that, he grabbed the bear skin cloak coat he had fashioned. Along with that he grabbed his kunai sheath and his Kunai. He turned back to the window to leave but out of the corner of his eye, and behind Cyan, he caught a glimpse of Professor Kagerouryu but only for an instant before he disappeared into shadow. The second Naka saw this he considered the situation and stopped.
"Cyan, can you go ahead without me. I'll catch up with you?" He asked politely, wanting to check it out.

Time was running short, and he knew it. Hidden in the shadows, he knew that death was coming for him. The precog that he had befriended back when he was heading up the oniwaban group had told him the precise date he would die. He wanted to bequeath the rest of his estate to his son. To do that he wanted to leave him his Katana and the power of the lightning god of the Shinra Kaito scrolls. Unfortunately he had been tracking Nakata's progress and had come to the conclusion that it was the only one he would be able to hold. That would be good enough though and with this, he could ensure that at least one of the scroll powers was passed down into their family if he had kids. There were so many questions that needed to be answered but he needed to leave it to Naka to tell his friends or if he wanted to keep it his secret.

It took Cyan a few seconds for Sorcha's comment to fully register. He had his mouth open and was ready to answer her when Naka picked him up and just flew off toward the dorm. "When did this happen!?" he asked, referring to Naka's new form, but the wind drowned out his question. Once they entered the room, Cyan grabbed his sweater while Naka got his things. "So," he began as Naka headed toward the window, but he was cut off by Naka. Nakata left the room, leaving Cyan once again with his mouth open ready to say something. Looking out the window, he exclaimed to no one in particular, "What does he expect me to do, fly back?"

"Of course, Naka can be all mysterious without even trying," he thought, the subject of his thoughts changing. Cyan rolled his sweater into a ball, curled his body around it so it wouldn't rip, and jumped out the window. It was at that point that Cyan noticed something. Out of nowhere, a pair of black feathered wings had sprouted out of his back. Then he hit the ground.

After getting back on to his hind legs, Cyan turned and looked at the wings that had suddenly sprung out of his back. They looked just like the ones Naka had just been using. "Crap. I gotta show Naka!" He exclaimed. He had heard that most people on the Island rarely had only one ability, but could this be his second ability? Was the resemblance just a coincidence, or did he have a power copying ability like Naka's? Or what if Cyan was a power stealer like he had read about? Either way, it would probably be best to let Naka know.

Cyan picked up his sweater. After three failed attempts at taking off, Cyan successfully managed to begin flying and circled back into the room window. He wondered if he could make the wings disappear. He willed the wings to do so, and they obeyed. Once the wings had fully disappeared, Cyan put his sweater on and went out to the hallway. "I wonder where Naka went?" he thought to himself before he recognized Naka's scent. With that, he headed toward where his roommate might be.

(Whew, that was fun to write. Sorry about the minor plot twist; It won't interfere with the story that much. I'm surprised at how little dialog is in there, I usually put a pretty good amount. Oh, and just so you know, I'm not copying Kuro. As a matter of fact...)

Sorcha stood up, looked at Miles and shrugged. One minute Naka and Cyan were there and the next they were gone. She picked up her new sword, smiled at it and walking towards the school said to Miles,"I'm going to try and catch up with Naka and Cyan, If you want you can come with me and grab your jacket while we're inside." Looking over her shoulder at Tien she said,"If you want to come you can of course, or if your still not feeling good, maybe you can stay here in case the boys come back before us and tell them we will be back soon"

She then headed through the courtyard with her long legged strides and headed towards Naka's room, not even looking to see if Miles or Tien were with her or not. Secretly she was hoping to catch up with Naka so that she could pull him aside and thank him once again for her sword with a little more privacy. With that thought she started up the stairs to his floor with a smile on her face and in a really good mood.

When Sorcha dismissed Tien, she hung back, perching on a rock to listen to everyone chatter. She understood little of what was said, and after some time, she pulled her knees to her chest and looped her arms around them. That always brought her comfort, though she would be hard-pressed to answer why. She just looked at them with a mournfully bemused expression when they did speak to her, and as such wasn't very surprised when the redhead enquired into her health. Tien did feel out of sorts. She had never been around so many people before, and her ignorance made her feel much smaller than her five inches. As clever and as big as a speck of dust.

She gave Sorcha's query an undue amount of speculation. "I'll stay," she answered, eventually. "I'll tell them where you went. And I'll- I'll-" What was it humans said when one wasn't well and wanted to be alone for a minute? "I'll breathe air," she finished, looking almost certain that was the phrase she wanted.

Grey eyes regarded the man dispassionately, analytically. There was no specific reason not to trust him, but she wasn't the trusting sort even when given several reasons to trust someone. Besides, her little warning was important; she knew it somehow. Whether it was her telepathy or her precognition was anyone's guess, but it felt like - well, it felt like someone was warning her that she was being watched. Only the someone warning her was... her. God, a couple of years ago her life had been so simple and boring. Aspiring to be bored again someday, she waved a hand disinterestedly at the intruder.

"I don't care much about powers," she said, her voice cold. Half the kids at Starlight who tried to talk to her volunteered their gifts with - or in this case, instead of - their names. Hi, I'm Kayleigh, and I can talk to animals! Cass didn't know, and didn't care. She didn't care to an extreme. She especially didn't care for the expectant look they gave her, as if she'd blurt out her abilities and be their bestest friend.

Going with her gut, she gave the newcomer another glance and then shrugged. "I don't go to the school. You'll find it eventually; it's a pretty small island."

Miles was caught off guard when Naka had taken Cyan already. He could have gone to since he had to. It’s not like everybody was in a serious rush. Miles scratched his head hearing Tien’s comment “Breath air?” Miles turned to ask Sorcha why Tien had said that when he saw that she had already left him behind. “Hey, wait up,” Miles said as he grabbed his sword and started to walk after her. Maybe everybody but him was in a serious rush. He would check on the fairy when he got back from getting his jacket. He started giving up on catching the girl and decided to fly to his room. When he got to his room he changed his jacket and went out his door.

He saw the weasel Cyan going down the hallway. Miles started to go after him to see where he was going and where Naka was. He figured it wouldn’t be hard to catch Cyan because of the height difference. He kept a good grip on his sword so he wouldn’t drop it while going after him. He noticed the weasel had gotten his sweater. Naka must have been in areal rush to have gotten there so fast.

Naka stepped into the hallway and was enveloped by shadow. In the darkness he saw nothing, not even a little bit, and to counteract this, he began to activate his eternal drive mode, but stopped short at the sound of a voice.
"Relax it's me. This is one of my powers. We need to finish our conversation, time is short, at least mine is. Your destiny is to learn from my mistakes and move forward." Came Professor Kagerouryu's voice in Japanese from within this dark place.
"What proof do you have? What exactly is my power?" He asked calmly, somehow still able to believe this man.
"Your father was the dragon of my clan, your mother was our accountant. When your mother tried to exploit your power to force you to become a weapon, and I did the best I could to protect you by having your adoptive parents train you. You and I are descendants of the man who read the scroll known as Ouza No Kami. The scroll we have received the power of is the seat where the husband of Amaterasu is to sit. There are five other scrolls and while it will not be you or I that copies them, it is possible that your son can. Only the first born male will receive this power." He stopped. He could tell others were coming to his location and while he could hide them from sight, sound and scent were harder and required more concentration than he could manage to do while talking about something like this.
"I already have one of the powers of the scrolls, and i want to share it with you and pass down our family's katana to you. I have the power to harness my internal bio electricity as well as the static charges of electrons in the air around me to put out about 800,000 volts of electricity at my maximum. This power is contingent on how much iron is in my blood and whether I'm in a position. Copy this power son, pass it onto your offspring." He explained.

Naka's eyes turned white and his hair stood straight up on end as the electricity course through his body. The black streaks on his hair took the shape of lightning bolts, then, for an instant, his hair turned completely black and the in a bright blast of electricity the darkness was dispelled.
" I... I have electrical powers?" He said in observation as he began to soak in the information.
"Yes but I have a few more gifts for you. In your backpack located in your room is the rest of the explanation about the scrolls so that you'll know what to do. Keep that Sorcha girl close, I don't know why but she's important for your future. Remember your friends and keep them close. I've been alive now for four hundred years and never quite learned that lesson. You don't have to believe me, but never doubt yourself and stay in control of your powers. That said, I have one final gift for you." He said, but now that they were out in the open it was slightly more conspicuous. Still the conversation was in Japanese but when Kagerouryu handed him the katana, he knew it to be right.
"I believe you. I'll do it father." Naka replied, happy to have gotten this opportunity. Something, a feeling even, told him that he knew about this the whole time, but needed to know for sure. With the power and the katana in hand, Nakata would be set to defend himself just as the precog had told Kageroumaru.
"Now go, remember what I've said to you today for it is destiny. I'm sorry." His father explained.

Meanwhile Tatsu looked at the girl. He had hoped she would be cooperative but thus far she hadn't been. To complete his mission he needed to have contacts from within, and this girl seemed to have no interest in sharing her power with him. That made things difficult.
"I could really use a guide there. Is something wrong? I can try to help you in return." He said softly, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder, his right hand, the one that completely canceled out powers and turned off their ability to use their power as long as he was touching her. It was a simple gesture that any human might make to comfort someone. His main goal though with this, was to shut off whatever powers she might have (for he could only assume she had some given her presence on the island.
"I can at least listen." He said in a caring soothing voice.

Cyan turned a corner and stopped as he saw a somewhat distant segment of the hallway completely enveloped in darkness. Casually addressing Miles, who was following behind him, he said "Okay, I've been here a month already and I've seen some crazy stuff, but that's still kinda w-wait a minute!" he stopped and looked at Miles, "When did you get here?" He had heard and smelled Miles and subconsciously noted his presence, but the fact itself had just dawned on him.

Cyan could hear Naka speaking in Japanese, as well as a second voice. Who was it? He had heard it somewhere before, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He was about to ask Miles what he thought he should do about the darkness when it dissipated with a flash of lightning. Where the darkness was, there now stood Naka and Professor Kagerouryu. Judging by the expression on both of their faces, and the katana being given to the teenager, Cyan was not sure who would have more interesting news, he or Naka.

Sorcha turned the corner and almost bumped into Cyan and Miles. They were standing there looking further down the hallway into complete darkness? Why would there be complete absence of light in the hallway? She stared into it, straining to see something. She took a few steps closer, gripped her sword tighter and was going to investigate when she heard phrases coming to her ears in Japanese. She obviously recognized Naka's voice and after a beat or two recognized Professor Kage. However, they were talking so fast that she had a difficult time translating everything in her head. She did hear the Professor saying something about scrolls, sons, and powers.

Trying to piece it all together she was momentarily blinded by the arc of light that entered the spot where the two stood and she saw Naka with a full head of black hair? uh? She focused again on the conversation again as her name was mentioned, but her eyes fully widened when she understood Naka say,"...believe you, I'll do it father" Father? what? Professor Kage was Naka's father? What the dickens was that about? And the katana? So many questions to ask and she debated whether to wait or do it now. She was making a mental list of things to ask him when she realized that she had said it out loud,"...hair, katana, father, powers..."
