The girl's arms upon further examination had scars on them. Which was noticable because she wasn't wearing her normal long sleeve shirt seeing she was in a hospital gown. If she were to worn a shirt with short sleeves or and bit lower neck people would've noticed these instead of how spoiled she looked. She'd rather have people act hostile towards her than pity her or get close.

She was so unsecure when she was asleep, all her memories and pain came back to bite her when she slept. That's why she needed someone beside her to make her feel safe, secure, so she could close her eyes and just sleep.

Corona had met tortured humans back when he was on Earth in the medieval ages. The difference was, he could usually do something about it. But right now in Paul's body, he didn't have access to his usual array of abilities. He wondered if there was something he could do for her when he finally left Paul's body. But who knows how long it could be for that to happen?

How did Maura receive her abilities, anyways? Last time he was on Earth, humans had to go through extensive training to get such power. Most humans went through their whole life unable to summon something like Berserker. Was there some special reason she was able to do it? How curious he had gotten...

TIME JUMP!

It had been hours since she had fell back asleep from Corona's singing. Her sleeping form began to grow restless, she turned slightly and whimpered having accidently hurt herself by touching a tender part of her leg whilst trying to just sleep until she could summon Berserker back.

She opened her eyes to see Corona, she fought the urge to hit him. She wasn't completely evil though she didn't trust him enough to be alone with him without Berserker's protection and guidence. She just wanted Berserker back, but she knew he needed to rest too.

Corona had decided to let Paul's body get more rest soon after, and awoke just a few minutes after Maura did. Corona was no longer in control, however. Paul was quite relieved that his body wasn't so heavy and exhausted for once.

"Oh...good morning." He said to Maura, though not quite sure what he was doing in the chair. He figured it was Corona's doing. "I hope you slept well?" He then looked around to room, to realize Berserker wasn't there. "Where's Berserker?"

"Oh...good morning. I hope you slept well? Where's Berserker?"

She remained silent, not wanting to talk about the fact Berserker went home. She could sense the change in the boy, maybe since he wasn't a angel like Corona. She just didn't like Paul that much, Paul seemed always so clueless and well sleepy. Maura sighed she wished she could sleep but his whole good morning thing scared her a little. The words reminded her of her 'nanny' who was abusive.

She looked at him, she felt a rumble in her stomach. She tried to mask the fact she was hungry from him but her stomach grumbled a little louder. If her stomach was separate from her she'd probably have hit it or done something to make it stop making her feel so stupid.

"You don't talk much, huh? Maybe it's because you're hungry? How does one get some food around here? I'll go ask a nurse or something."

She was surprised in the change of attitude, but she still didn't trust him. He was still just a human she couldn't trust, so she kept pushing him away in her mind. Letting him get no closer than what was comfortable. She didn't want to deal with more pain, physical pain she could deal with. But emotional pain hurt more, she waited for the boy to return. She half expected poison in her food even though he wasn't trying to kill her.

He brought back a plate of food and a drink and offered them to her. The drink was milk, and the meal was ham with carrots, peas, and mashed potatoes with some apple sauce. "Here ya go. I guess this is on the menu for today. I've heard hospital food kinda sucks.. but I guess we'll just have to deal with it. Try it and tell me how it is, I'm gonna go get some for myself. It's free, apparently, though I'm not sure why." The food would actually be very, very good (though that might not be true if she doesn't like ham or whatever) and was due to all the money Corona paid them, which Paul didn't know about.

She looked at the plate in shock, "I can't eat that... I never eat animals... You want it?" She asked offering it to him. The funny thing about her not eating animals was that she treated human life with less respect than a animal's. She looked at the Ham in disgust, she was a odd little girl.

Her eyes looked at his, not in a untrusting manner but in a allowing some trust into their relationship as aquaintances. She didn't call him a friend yet, but it was a start.

"Errr.. why not? No wonder you're so frail looking.. you need to eat some food! .. But, if you really don't want to.. just eat the vegetables I guess. I'll eat the ham if you don't want it.." He left the room to get his own plate of food and a drink, and came back only seconds later.
