The girl was cared for while she was passed out, Berserker watched every doctor carefully. Since he was unseen to them he was able to stay in the room. He made sure each of them behaved properly and didn't treat Maura wrong. He watched like a hawk not letting one bad thing happen to the girl. When the doctor's left he turned to Corona, he guessed the boy had something to do with this.

Berserker sighed, watching the boy now. He had many questions, but he didn't wish to speak. He was slowly edging towards tiredness, it had been days since he had gone back to his world. He knew he'd have to go within a day, he didn't want to leave Maura because she was still very sensitive. And she needed people to be there for her even if it was a undead creature.

In his dreams, Paul once again relived one of Corona's memories. After learning more about Corona, Paul realized these strange dreams he had were memories of Corona. He wasn't quite sure why this happened, he figured it had to do with them sharing the same body. There was one thing that stood out to him, though. A powerful demon Corona seemed to know as "Rath". This demon frequently appeared in many of Paul's dreams. But the thing that caught his eye was the weapon he held.

It looked like a scythe, but it was made of pure darkness. Paul recognized this weapon, it was the one Lesset had. The same exact one. He remembered Corona referring to it as "The End of Dreams". What a fitting name for such a creepy weapon.. just looking at it seemed to suck all the happy thoughts out of his mind. Was this the kind of thing that demons of the underworld used?

Did angels have weapons of similar power? He knew that his sword and Corona's weapons had similar abilities to damage one's mind. But they weren't as destructive as the scythe. In his dreams he recalled being able to summon incredible explosions of light, and summon gigantic pillars of holy energy from the sky. He knew Corona had healing magic and teleportation abilities as well. Would he eventually learn how to do this?

Corona secretly watched the dreams Paul had. What Paul didn't know was that Corona purposely showed him these dreams. He figured it was the best way to teach Paul about the world. But there was no way he could cram 2000 years worth of training into his mind. He wondered if God intended Paul to become immortal. It seemed pointless to train someone who would only be effective for another half a century at best.

Berserker disappeared suddenly, he had to go back to the resting place. His presence was vanished without him moving, it was like teleportation. Maura stirred lightly, if one was to look at her and judge her on looks alone they'd say she was a beautiful young girl. But seeing her evil ways she often times pushed people away. Pushing both good and bad people who would hurt her away from her.

She yawned drowsily looking around the room for Berserker only to find he wasn't there. Tears formed in the girl's eyes, she was alone. Her eyes opened she spotted Corona and instantly looked away faking to sleep. She couldn't sleep without Berserker's presence though sleep was needed now.

Corona awakened a little while later. From his calculations it was about an hour, 36 minutes, 12 seconds. He looked around and saw Maura asleep. Or at least, she seemed to be asleep. He couldn't really tell, but she didn't seem as peaceful as she was earlier. He noticed Berserker wasn't there and assumed he had to go back to his own plane. He didn't think Berserker would have left Maura. Maybe Maura awoke to see Berserker wasn't there and was afraid to do anything without him? Her previous actions throughout the past few days made this the most likely scenario. Corona figured it was up to him to make sure she would be safe now, not that he really minded.

The girl bit on her lip, she wanted to sleep but couldn't not without Berserker or someone she could trust. Corona was odd, going from cheeky Paul to a nice kind person who was gentle with words and caring. She didn't know what she should do, she turned slightly to the side as much as she could trying to fake she was 'sleeping' but it was kinda hard to do seeing she couldn't sleep when she acknowledged Berserker wasn't there.

Corona thought for a moment, then decided to walk over and sit on the edge of Maura's bed.

Now, how did that song go again?

He cleared his throat then softly started to sing "Why do Birds Suddenly Appear" in the best voice he possibly could. He found it quite difficult with Paul's voice, but he managed to get it to sound half-decent, especially when he activated his peace aura.

Maura listened, she found his voice very erm... well... She found it none the less, she never had someone sing her to sleep before. Her eyes slowly got drowsy she slowly edged back to sleep. The girl didn't know why the boy's not so professional voice was making her sleepy but she felt some peace in it. And began to sleep, the young girl seemed to helpless and alone for a killer.

Hmm.. even in Paul's body he put her to sleep. He wondered how much effect his voice would have in his own body. How he missed his true body. The human body felt too... heavy.

He watched Maura sleep for a short while, admiring her natural beauty. What a shame such a girl had the life she had. Such potential her mind could have had if it weren't for such an affliction, he marveled. Maybe he could get her to trust him and Paul enough to be considered a friend? The way she acted it seemed like a long shot, but he had noticed a lot less hostility from both her and Berserker lately. Maybe it truly was possible.

He stood up and walked over to the chair next to the bed. He sat down and cupped his hands in his lap, and watched over her as she slept, as well as prayed to God for her future.
