"Berserker? How did you meet Maura? Does she have some sort of ability to summon... creatures?.. like you? Or are you some sort of relative that got into like.. an accident?"

Berserker wasn't going to talk to him, but he'd answer the question nonetheless only without words. He motioned to the earth making a symbol. He pointed to Maura, and made geasures refering to her getting beaten. And summoned him he then made a swift motion against his neck refering to the man who beat Maura. He said no words but his actions had made the story pretty clear, seeing he had experience in acting out things. He wasn't related to Maura, he was merely summoned. But he took the place of her father and friend during that time. He protected the girl when no one else was willing to. And she grew to love him as a friend.

"Why is it you don't talk? Corona says you have the ability to. Would it not be easier to say something instead of act it out? What are you, afraid of me?" Truth be told, Corona had to explain some of Berserker's actions to make the story more clear for Paul. "So come on, say something."

Berserker made one sturn shake of the head and went back to watching Maura sleep. He wasn't going to talk to people, he had the ability to, as well as a good voice. But he never spoke with it to people he knew directly. He would use his voice to cover but he never let someone see his face and hear his voice. Maura had understood Berserker's want of privacy and she didn't push him to say anything.

Berserker picked up a pen writing something he gave it to the boy. The creature had quite neat handwritting, he was so much more smart then one would give him credit for. On the note it read this, "Touch or hurt Maura and I sware I'll kill you, try and make me talk and I'll knock you unconcious for a week. And if you wake Maura expect monsters to haunt you all night." It was written in such a way that it would send chills down one's back. Especially the way Berserker was staring at him. Maura slept like a little angel and Berserker's one goal was to protect and make her happy.

"You know you spelled "swear" wrong, right?"

Berserker hanged his head and pointed to the girl as if to blame her for teaching him the wrong way to spell swear. She had helped him brush up on his knowledge, she was like his tutor constantly supporting him and helping him. But pushing him, she never really showed love. She often times hid feelings to protect herself.

"Well.. either way. Threatening me isn't exactly the smartest thing in the world. I mean, why would you do that?...."After a few seconds he gasped. "Where is my sword!?" He glared at Berserker. "May I have my sword back, please? I sort of need it." What would he do if Berserker refused? Corona said the blade was important enough that he would have to force Berserker to hand it over if he didn't. Paul hoped it wouldn't come to that.

He sighed, he motioned to Maura and then motioned a shape of a sword. Then shook his finger explaining that he wouldn't get the sword back until Maura was out of the Hospital and safe. He pointed to himself and motioned that he wouldn't use it. He personally didn't use swords for murdering people. Maura slept on, her state of sleep was practually unconcious.

"I don't have any understanding of what you just said. But somehow I doubt it included me getting my sword right now. I'm afraid I must insist you give it back to me, right now. If you have such a big problem trusting me, then why do you assume I trust you? How do I know you'll give it back to me?"

He took a pen and wrote something on paper. "And how do I know you won't harm Maura or even watch out for her? Hmm? You don't get your sword back till she's better. I can't trust you with Maura and you can't trust me with your sword. So in trust we'll both have to act." The paper said.

The beast realized Paul wasn't as aware of the things around him as others were. He also knew that Paul had two people in him, but he didn't say anything to Maura or anything.

He threw the piece of paper to the ground, he was getting a bit annoyed now. Corona decided to see where this was going before he said anything. "Listen to me, I could harm Maura far worse without my sword. It can't even cut her flesh. Interesting how I could protect her better with the sword, though. And even more interesting how I probably wouldn't stand much chance against you in combat without it, either. So what are you? Keeping me hostage?" Even Corona wasn't expecting that, he completely agreed.
