Sweet Violence

"Um....right... So..how are you feeling? Does your leg still hurt or what?"

"You don't care so don't ask... Anyway the bill is covered, I may seem like a rat but I've got money to cover a little bill. My grandfather had a few oil mines, he liked his money too much so when he died he left it without any instructions to me. So I have it before I'm 18." She said with a sigh, she knew that's why some people would've suspected her for the murder of her grandfather. But she wasn't going to say anything to make her a criminal whether or not she did or didn't kill him.

"Err... what? Why wouldn't I care? I brought you here didn't I? Your words make no sense. In the worst case scenario, I would ask so I know if I wasted my time or not. Whether or not I care doesn't even matter."

"That's where your wrong, everything matters. You don't care so therefore why should I answer. I'm gonna live but my leg hurts, but like that matters seeing you have a family that loves and cares for you. And your ten times forgetful than anyone I know." She said with a sigh. She turned her head away trying to sleep. Berserker stayed silent as usual and watched.

"Erm.. You're wrong, actually. My parents were killed. And I'm an only child. I don't even know where any of my other relatives are. I'm alone like you are."

The girl's eyes looked back to him, "Maybe I misjudged you, but I'm not sorry. It'd be stupid to pity people who I barely know." She said with a sigh. "How'd they die? Accident? Intentional? Murdered? Sucide?" She asked wondering if they really were that much alike. She wondered if he ever went to Foster care, she seemed to open up a bit to him.

"Did you ever go to a Foster home or anything like that?" She asked wondering how much pain he had in his past. She wasn't going to let him know she had a heart but she wasn't going to be a jerk to someone who might be like her.

"My parents were murdered. It's.. actually quite strange. Because soon after I was taken to this island. I never went to a trial, or found out who killed my parents. I never found out anything online, either. It's almost like it never happened..."

"Want Berserker to find out? He's like a blood hound when it comes to murders. He can sense if people are murderers or not, he's kinda odd though. But he's a great help, the people who killed your parents should pay. That's why Berserker and me kill, we kill people with previous record of killing or near killing. Though we told the other you that we killed innocent people too. We only kill people who have blood on their hands. Though some look innocent, but don't tell people this or they might think we're actually good. And then we'd have to act all daisy picking." She said with a shudder.

She wasn't lying, oddly enough her talking about killing people sounded more evil then her work. But still she killed people, she knew it was wrong. But if she truly was some mass murderer people would've noticed a lack of students and stuff. Though she always lied to herself and put a good fence up to keep people out of her business. I mean who wants to hang around a mass murderer?

"You got a last name? Berserker can trace your line and find out things. He can go to the spiritual world too, he's awesome." She said with a smirk, she normally wouldn't be telling this but the pain medicine always messed with her head.

"Erm...no thanks..."

Maura sighed, she closed her eyes and soon dozed off. She actually looked innocent while she slept. Even though a big monsterous beast watched her sleep. Her eyes showed of insomnia, she hardly ever slept unless she felt safe. Which was only when Berserker was around, she was glad he wasn't tired or worn down from the day. That meant she got to sleep and catch up again.
