Yes, this is a perfect place for Gloria to set up her show and tell time. It was in a rather quiet corner to the side of one of the buildings, in the hopes that they would not be too disturbed. The last thing that she wanted was to have a space that was less than neutral for every participant of her group. There was a good air flow for them all, as she wouldn't want to be cramped in a small room with outrageous powers. She wanted it to be open for everyone, and not make any member feel like they were left out or unwanted. For her, she had placed a small table with drinks and snacks for her participants, just in case. It wasn't like she was going to go over-the-top as she just wanted to know and figure out what each child was capable of. It was her job of course, to make sure that each of the members were prepared for the actual show.

They would need to get to know each other, and hopefully try to work out any kinks that they had in between them. It was a bit weird for her to have not really met any of her members, but she really did hope in her heart that they would like her as much as she knew that she could like them. Thankfully she received the first names of each of her four members. The only problem was trying to figure out who was who, as she had not asked for much more information than that. Of course she knew their powers, as it would have been important for her to know that none of them went overlap or hinder her own powers or others, but she thoughtfully blocked it out of her mind slightly, to allow her to experience it in a different way. For her, one of the funnier parts of this get-together was being able to figure out things on her own rather than being told by the other staff and administration. And she sat there in one of her 5 chairs she had laid out in a semi-circle facing the tables, her foot tapped the ground thoughtfully, as if to unconsciously tap the amount of seconds it took for each of them to show up.

Lila was the first student to arrive at the Show and Tell meeting with her group. She had found the space they had been asked to gather at, and peered through the doorway to see if anyone was already there. Just fantastic, she thought. It was just Gloria, her foot tapping on the ground repeatedly. She hated being the first one to anything and found conversations with most adults kind of dull. Sighing, Lila fixed her uniform which she had been contemplating whether or not to wear. She had heard that it was magical, and allowed wings to emerge through it, but she didn't trust it entirely. It seemed to be so solid. Stupidly, she hadn't tested it before arriving. Deciding to just enter the room and endure the monotonous adult-child conversation before the others found the room they were in.

She walked into the room, her navy blue shoes in time with the foot taps, and took a seat on one of the chairs next to Gloria so she didn't appear to be antisocial. The two of them hadn't met before, and Lila knew how much first impressions counted. She saw a table of snacks opposite the semicircle of chairs, but didn't take anything, mostly so she didn't appear to be greedy. She wondered what powers the others possessed. She wasn't modest at all but she was aware that most of them would probably be stronger and more unique than her own. But that wasn't her main concern. What she was most afraid of was the personalities of the group, being a very social person. Gloria seemed like a relatively kind person, not too bossy but difficult to boss around. And this was all just from her body language, calm, thoughtful facial expression and the way she had arranged their meeting place to be as inviting and comfortable as possible. Lila had to admire her for putting so much thought into their gathering.

She continued to wait for the other three members of the group silently, not intending to speak unless spoken to so she didn't interrupt Gloria's thoughts or start an awkward conversation.

Oh how this waiting was killing her. It was so exciting to have the chance to meet some amazing students for sure! There was a thrill, like a whirlwind of unknown things that seems to come of out her. So, when the first child arrived, she almost fell out of her chair. The joy that came from this- oh how amazing it was! When the girl seated herself, she smiled warmly to her. "Hello there! Feel free to take as much food as you want, yes?" It was there for them, of course. "Now, I'm Gloria and I'll be your staff advisor for the next few days and so on!"

Why was everybody taking so long? There was only so long she could wait in an awkward silence before it got frustrating. Gloria was welcoming, sure, and Lila smiled and nodded gratefully, but she wanted to get to work! Or at least meet as a whole group. "Thankyou." She said. And she was happy with their group leader, coach, or whatever she was. She was probably very easygoing and cheery, and Lila would much rather sit through that than listen to an angry person barking orders. Yes, maybe she had gotten the best group? Or the best leader, anyway. The rest of the group hadn't shown their faces yet, and being new she didn't know them.

She wasn't nervous, though. She knew that with this lady as the group leader there would be no exclusions, even if the remainder of the group were super close. And it was against Lila's nature to be an outcast. She thrived in large crowds, and there was no way she would be left out of the group. Because if there was anything Lila did well, it was participation. "Nice to meet you, Gloria. I'm Lila." She said this with a smile. Now the pleasantries were complete, they waited the arrival of their fellow team members.

She was a rather cheerful individual! For her, that was one of the most important things that she could ask for. Having an upbeat attitude was something that only enhanced the experience of any first encounter. "Ah what a lovely name! I am glad that you showed up. I was a bit concerned that this place would be hard to find, as it isn't really that much in the open." It was for the best of course, as she didn't want to be yelled at for having her students causing mayhem on school grounds. "Then again, I don't know what the other students are like... Meaning if they like to skip things they are supposed to show up to." Gloria chewed on her nails, darting her eyes to every possible entrance to their set up before focusing again on Lila. "For the meantime though, would you mind showing me your powers?"

Gloria continued to speak to Lila. Oh great. What had she gotten herself into? The others didn't seem to be showing up, or they were taking their time doing so. The woman seemed to be quite chatty, which could be either good or bad. She was one of those people who would keep a conversation going for ages, but at least there would be no awkward silences. "It wasn't hard to find," she replied simply, "all I needed was a map of the school and a couple of people willing to point me in the right direction. Well, only one of them was willing..." Lila trailed off after that. She had said too much. Of course, she was referring to her power of mind manipulation, but since that probably wouldn't be of much use in a Show and Tell, she had wanted to keep it to herself a little bit. If teachers found out she would be closely watched for irresponsible behaviour.

Lila herself had wondered at whether the others would show up. She didn't know them, so maybe they were the type who cut class and cause trouble. That wouldn't be ideal, even with a leader like Gloria to be a calming influence. When Lila saw her grow a little worried, she said, "I'm sure they will turn up."

At the mention of powers, Lila replied, "Sure," and willed her wings to emerge. The large, flat amd feathery things appeared and seamlessly went right through her uniform. Thank goodness, she thought, that could've been embarrassing. Her wings still seemed to function as normal through the uniform, something she was both surprised and grateful for. With a flap of her wings, she flew straight up to the high roof of the room and glided down, spiralling elegantly to hover just above the ground. That would be enough showing off until the others got there. It could wait.

"Oh that's even better than! You can never be too sure, as I know a few people who don't even read signs at all." These students would have to be good, yes? Even then, she knew that everyone had a good and a bad side and that sometimes one of them just sparkled through a bit more. "Willing?" It intrigued her, but Gloria would not press the topic as it didn't seem that she was overly thrilled to talk about it. "I'm mostly just glad that you are here, so thank you." Her eyes glistened as Lila spoke, helping her feel a little less unsure about the other students. "I'm sure they will too." Was all she needed to add on in order for her mind to drop the topic.

The sudden fluffiness of her wings made Gloria look in awe. "Wow!! Bravo bravo! Those are simply splendid!" Her hands clapped together, enthused that there was such a pretty thing in front of her. "I love it so much!!" She only hoped that the others wouldn't take too much longer to get here, otherwise they would have to keep repeating their powers to one another again and again. The woman got her notepad out, jotting down her power beside her name for reference. "Would you care to see my own?"

The young dragon circled the corner, wearing a long sleeve shirt as always to hide his scars and his spiky brown hair disheveled as always. He stopped when he found his assigned teacher and a girl around his age. "Sorry I'm late," a small flame appeared from the side of his head giving him a comical look, but he was fireproof when his fire element was on and so didn't notice.

"I'm Theron," he went to blow a rogue strand of hair from his face, but a small fire ball came his mouth instead. He blinked his eyes to clear them of the glare caused by the sudden flame, "I am so sorry," he had very little control over his powers and had accidentally caused a few fires and frozen a few things.

He looked between the girl and the teacher feeling a bit embarrassed, "perhaps I should go, me trying to show off my powers might be a bad idea."

Lila smiled as her powers were praised. She had no opportunity to really show them off to anyone, and was glad they were appreciated. It gave her a boost of self-esteem she really didn't need. "Thankyou. Sure, show me what you got," she replied to her after Gloria offered to show her powers to the girl. She was always interested in finding out the variety of talents at the school.

But it before she got the chance, a guy walked in. Finally, one of her teammates. He was around her age or just slightly older, out of uniform and not unattractive. Maybe people didn't wear the academy uniform anywhere outside of class. She guessed she would have to start buying open-back tops to allow for her wings.

The guy introduced himself as Theron. Just as she began to wonder at his powers, he accidentally created a fireball. It didn't hit anything, luckily, and it was a big giveaway of his power. Lila then realised she still had her wings visible. She still felt worried when somebody saw her like that. It just didn't quite feel normal. When Theron apologised for his fireball, Lila saw his shame. He probably hadn't meant to do that as soon as he walked in. But she thought she'd give him a chance, saying, "No, come in. So, you shoot fireballs?" That seemed like a good power for a Show and Tell. Much better than her mind manipulation. But flying and fireballs? A vague idea of what the performance could be like came together in her mind.

"I am glad that you were able to show me!" With that, she nodded and stood, looking around for a dead plant. Feeling it's life force inside of it, she points to the plant, making the very dead plant move once more. "It's not really much that I can show you, as most of it happens in my head and inside the plant itself, sorry." It was also that and the fact that she didn't want to spend a lot of time explaining it. This time was for the students; she was just there to help.

When the other student showed up, her face felt like a rocket. Full of life and light! Oh what a happy moment this was, to know that someone else wanted to be a part of her group. "No no it's okay! I am just really glad that you showed up! Nice to meet you Theron!" Her enthusiasm was a bit over the top, but she did not care the least bit about that! "Woah!" She said, flabbergasted by the fire, excited, a bit worried. "I think that is such a pretty power. Fire is life, not destruction." Gloria wanted to encourage her students the best she could. "Please stay, there is no reason to leave. We all have our unique things about us."
