He had been ready to just leave her there and walk away but she just continued to talk and walk " So you heard that". How could he explain that he wished to be a demon, well a demon lord to be exact, if she couldn't accept why he was acting as a douche. He was sure she wouldn't understand but since he had made it abundantly clear that he didn't want anyone to find out through him or her he figured he may as well give it a try, Remi finding out was just an unfortunate accident.

"I wished for Immortality so that if I couldn't free her during a human lifetime I could at least forever be by her side. I couldn't just say this as the act had already begun, so I masked my wish within another wish that would seem more fitting to the act." He took another big deep breath, who knew telling would feel so heavy on the heart. "I wished to become a demon lord, to gain back my human form and for a power, I had hoped to get a useful power to help her but no such luck."

Remi nearly questioned him on why he didn't just wish for a power so specific it would help her and only her, but she wasn't completely sure on the rules of this stuff. "I understand. I'll try to help you and her, but I don't have any wish granting abilities and all mine are based around water and earth, well, mostly earth." She gave a sigh. "I don't mind helping you out with research and offering suggestions though. Got any ideas on what I can do?"

She cared less about Tatsuo and more about Kaori, only because Kaori wasn't the one beating up people just as an act. Act or not, it was still a beating and that stuff was common enough at her home without the need of outside influence. "If I do help you though, promise me you won't hurt my friends or family. I don't care what you do to others, and I'd rather not be associated with some of the stuff you do, but don't hurt the people I care about. Got it?"

"Other then to keep quiet and keeping a look out for someone who may have a power that can help us while you go about your daily life, no" He was a little upset but given the situation that was understandable.

It took him a while but he still didn't get what she was saying, he was actually a nice guy and hadn't the gentle push make her realize that then surely him explaining that the bad things he did was just an act, would. So why would he harm someone else then her if she told others and why would he do it if she helped him, it seemed so counter intuitive"I promise...".

Remi thought for a moment during his silence, and after he said his promise she spoke up. "Just wondering. Do you have any friends?" She knew his secret, and she was certain he wasn't a complete bad guy now, but considering his act he had to be lonely. There was enough pity for Remi to put there for her to ask that question. Who wanted to be friends with someone who acted like an ass all the time? But now that she knew his secret, and he wasn't being one to her, this could be both a good chance for her to find a friend outside of her species and culture, and a good chance for him to find a friend who would accept him.

Well, he did in fact have friends, though they weren't real friends. They were other jackasses he hanged with, just to maintain his appearances. Besides when he got a lucky break or when he was at the shop, she was the first one he had been able to be himself with and not only that, she was the only one he had spoken the truth to.

"No, I don't have any friends" But this was anticipated and therefore ok, he knew he would be hated when he had made his decision, he didn't regretted it though sometimes he did feel extra lonely. "Are we going to my place? To see if Kaori is real?" He needed to ask because when he left the alley he had intended to leave Remi there as well.

"How can you live without friends?" Remi asked. Once again she felt pity for him, though at the same time she wasn't surprised. He didn't deserve friends with how he acted, but he at least deserved help to get out of the bad place he was in. The moment of thinking about friendship went on pause for her though when Tasuo asked about meeting Kaori. "Oh, uh, yeah. That'd be cool. Lead the way."

[Fade to Tatsuo's Home/Shop]

He stopped just outside the gates of a mansion, his mansion, with a sign over his head "Happy Tails" it said "Yup, I live here, above the shop". He had let built a few parking spots just inside the gates where people could park, it was a convenience thing. He had also built a few parking spots next to the building and bought a few vehicles that tivoli has which had a wagon on the back with a few cages, this was so that people could get a ride from the gates and a ride back with their new pet. Tatsuo sat down on one of those wagons, in the back, like a kid just to dingle his legs. "Take me home when Remi is on" he said to the employee who would drive that specific vehicle, while he awaited tons of question from Remi.

She always found the idea of a store connected to a house to be an interesting thing, though perhaps that was because the rest of her family thought the same. Only reason they didn't do it was because of their fears of their privacy being disrupted and customers trying to come in when the store was closed. Still, she liked the idea and liked what she was seeing, but she guessed that maybe it was for the best she didn't live in a place like it.

Following Tatsuo, she sat herself on the wagon and waited for it to move. She might as well start a small conversation since they weren't talking all that much. "You built all of this yourself? Or did you get someone else to help you or something? You seem pretty rich, so I'm not doubting that the money put into this was from you or a family member or something."

"I didn't physically build it." implying that he had paid for it, he could go on and actually say it out loud but he wasn't one for bragging and had it not been for the animals then he would be happy to live in an apartment or a smaller house.

Getting closer to the building he felt the need to express the need for secrecy again "Remember, not a word about what I have told you" it wasn't the same threatening tone as earlier, it was more of a friendly reminder. He was a little awkward, not knowing what else to say as this was really the first time he got to speak to her and the only subject that he had been talking about was taboo. He could either tell her how Kaori came into his possession or something else entirely, he hoped for the later as the former was a long story.

She raised her hands lazily at Tatuso. "I promise I won't say a word." Then she went back to waiting for the wagon to stop, which didn't take long. Soon it came to a halt and they were allowed to get off. Once off, she waited for Tatsuo to lead her to where Kaori was. She had to admit, she was a bit excited to meet the kitsune. She never met a kitsune before, but she did hear stories from her moms. This type of kitsune didn't seem like the other though, so Remi had lots lots of questions to ask, but she figured it was probably best to not blurt them all out at once. Instead, she opted to go for a more subtle and slower approach. "So what is Kaori like?"
