It was very early in the month, but Milo was already in prep mode for the upcoming Student Council elections, rather busy and often sticking around the school for various projects. Despite all of this, he also had his newly discovered sister's wedding coming up, and he wanted to actually meet her fiance before watching her get married off to him.

He may not have known her for very long, but it was simple brotherly instincts to only want the very best for her. He'd heard the fiance in question was a dragon, and had a powerful status within that, a relevant family. Milo only cared about was how he treated Cecete, how they interacted and fit together. That was all that mattered. Nothing superficial. He hadn't tried to dig much into the man's history due to this, as he did with most. He wanted his impression to be fresh and objective.

He had a few possibilities in mind for their get together- giving them a bit of a tour of the school, going out to eat at one of the nicer places on campus (he'd cook for them himself, but he felt embarrassed at the thought of forcing them into his dorm, even if the dorms weren't small here), hanging out in the art club room or peaceful parts of the courtyard- but he'd left things fairly open ended, unsure of preferences. Milo liked being able to ask others, face to face, what they enjoyed and were interested in, so he'd be doing just that. The only thing he knew for sure was that he'd be telling his curious sister about his campaign adventures.

It was a sunny afternoon, and Milo waited near the school gates so he'd be visible and found quickly (not that he was easy to miss), quietly a bit nervous, but hardly showing it on his naturally stoic face.

Milo would soon see a blonde woman in flats and a lovely spring dress walking towards the gate. Of course Alex joined her, but this writer controls the beautiful wife-to-be and not the fiance the brother was slightly nervous about meeting. Her wavy hair trailed down her shoulders and shined in the sunlight. It was a wonderful afternoon; this would be the perfect occasion to remain outside for most of the day. Despite her having a fairly regal walk, her green eyes darted everywhere excitedly in a similar manner to a child. Her face otherwise kept its usual queenly serenity.

The moment she was within close distance of the changeling, she went over to give her brother a hug. At this point, she had a slight baby bump. It was not big at all really; it would make one question if she was pregnant or if she overindulged herself at a buffet. But of course everyone in the trio knew she was having a baby. There was great excitement for the child's coming. However, that wouldn't happen until at least several months down the road. Now the big event was the wedding which would occur on the bride's birthday. While an odd set of occasions to lump together on one day, Cecete considered it a wonderful gift.

A wonderful but somewhat stressful gift perhaps, but she was funnily enough the calmer half in this situation. Everything was in its place, and her fabulous dress would be ready. But now wasn't the time to focus on that. It was time to hang out with her brother.

"Hello dear brother, are you well?"

A sweet smile appeared on the older sister's face. It was her duty to make sure her family was happy and healthy, be it her sibling, her husband, or the growing bundle of joy inside her womb.

"We just came back from my medical appointment. The doctor has revealed that the baby appears to be female."

A daughter! Surely her mother and the kingdom would jump for joy at this news. She would too if she wasn't in mild pain. Her back was bothering her. It wasn't enough to make her stop walking or require medicine, but it was enough to make her not do anything too strenuous like back flips.

For Alex the day had already turned out to be exciting and eventful. To the point that he could barely contain it. After learning that they were having a girl, they were now off to meet Cecete's brother. As far as Alex was concerned it was a bit overdue but, better late than never. He didn't have any reservations about meeting him either as he hadn't heard anything bad about him. He expected they would get along well enough.

"We have to start thinking of proper names," he had a slight smile as he made his approach with Cecete. Something people would consider rather rare for him to do. When it came to good news about his child however, he couldn't help but maintain a level of giddiness.

He took a mental note of Cecete's condition, though he didn't outwardly say anything just yet. He simply kept himself close in case she needed to lean on him. His attention shifted to Milo. He took a moment to size the younger brother up. At least this one didn't seem interested in challenging him to a fight to prove his worth.

"It's an honor to finally meet you, Cecete's told me about you," the dragon bowed then extended a hand.

Milo brightened up at the sight of his sister first, who was like sunshine personified today. He welcomed her hug, giving her a squeeze, though making sure not to make it too tight. "Cecete," he greeted. "You look lovely, you're practically glowing." He pulled back and smiled in return. "I'm well enough, yes. Busy month for everyone, isn't it? Let's try to take it easy."

The taller sibling hardly had any particular opinion on the genders of children so long as they were healthy and treated with love, and he believed this one would be. "I'll have a niece, then. I never would've considered it a possibility when I was younger, but now, I'm getting quite attached to the idea of being an uncle." His cheeks were a little pink, clearly delighted by it. He wasn't sure he'd ever be able to have kids of his own, but he'd protect and adore his sister's child- his own blood- with all of his usual stubbornness and heart.

After properly conversing with Cece, Milo turned to Alex. His first thought was that with that hair, the strawberry blond he and his sister were gifted with would… no doubt only be getting redder with the next generation. He was tall enough to notably translate into 'not short' for Milo, which was saying something. He definitely fit the draconic magic that clung to him, looking very much the part of a humanized, intimidating dragon. Milo wasn't normally intimidated by anything, and that wasn't changing now, especially not since Alex had been smiling, clearly in love with his sister, and was being fairly polite to him.

Milo gave a respectful nod in response to the bow, something he'd likely look a bit awkward copying. This was dragon royalty, and he was just a boy from a shit town in The Middle Of Nowhere, America. He wasn't certain he could match this kind of formality and elegance (not in this setting, that is- he was learning, when it came to Fae), but at the very least, he could be warm as well as stand his own. He took the other man's hand and shook it very firmly.

"Same goes to you, though one can only pick up so much through second hand information. I'm looking forward to getting to know you for myself today. I'd say something along the 'you better treat my sister right' lines, though that'd be terribly stereotypical, and... you've been taking care of her for longer than I have." Milo gave a smaller smile. "Thank you for that. Ah, but I'm sure she's been taking plenty care of you as well, of course. She's tough, yeah?"

He tilted his head to her again. "Cece, anywhere or anything you'd like to start with doing or hearing about?"
