Milk continued to carry Murphy down the halls, ending up in the infirmary. The fighter girl opened the door and stepped inside, still holding Murphy in the fireman's carry. "Hello, I have an injured student. I need medical assistance." She stated, her normal monotone slightly louder than normal. She hadn't been in here for a while, not since she first arrived.

Melivere had been helping in the clinic; it was something she enjoyed, mainly because she hated having down-time. She glanced up from a chart to see a girl with another student, furrowing her brow lightly. "Okay, bring them over here to this bed -" She gestured calmly toward a ready-made bed, one of many.

"Can you tell me your names? And what happened?"

Murphy winced as she called out for the doctor or nurse on duty, trying to wriggle out of her fireman's carry and onto his own feet. “I'm fine Milk, it's just a...er, probably a bit bruised.” He glanced back at his hand, the swelling was only getting worse and even wiggling his fingers shot lances of pain up his arm. “I'm uh, Murphy ma'am, Murphy Banks. This? This was just an accident I...er, banged it on something.” he mumbled, refusing to admit that he'd busted it up that badly trying to punch Milk.

Milk shook her head, her grip too strong for Murphy to wiggle out. "False. He tried punching me and failed. He has injured his hand, a potential sprain or fracture. Assistance would be appreciated." Milk paused. "My name is Milk."

Melivere asked no other questions, simply reaching for the injured hand with both of her own hands. Should she get a grasp, she would cup the injury in her hands, testing the pain level for Murphy - her gaze focused on reactions. She was not here to ask questions, but to heal. And this did not seem too serious - she could heal this and feel only slight pain later.

"Do you want me to heal you through magical means, or would you prefer a splint and medicinal means?"

Murphy eventually gave up trying to escape Milk's grip, she was definitely stronger than him by a long shot. When the nurse suddenly grasped his hand he yelped, even the lightest touch felt like a crowbar being bashed against his wrist. “If magic works faster I'd appreciate it.” Even through the haze of pain he was interested in seeing other 'gifts' at work. “Er, I assume it's safe?” he glanced back up at Milk for reassurance.

Milk moved to one of the clinic beds that was in the room, and set Murphy down on it gently. She took a step back, her large brown eyes scanning the room with her normal deadpan expression. "Magic will work. It should be safe." She said, glancing idly at Melivere.

She did not say anything, she simply reached for the injured hand, and clasped it between her own hands. "If you have any doubts, I'm about five hundred years and some change," she muttered, as a soft white glow began to emit from her hands.

It was a simple fix, she supposed. It might take just a second, though. She hummed a soft tune as she held the hand, most likely the pain would subside slowly at first and then all at once - kind of like how you fall asleep, or come down from an adrenalin rush.

Murphy shifted uncomfortably in the bed, his good hand fishing into his pocket and withdrawing a small, silver coin. “Five hundred years? Huh, you don't look a day over-” He sucked in a breath as her ability went to work. It didn't hurt, no, but the sensation coursing through his hand was unfamiliar... inhuman.

So this was magic, the abilities that science could not explain or duplicate. If he focused hard enough, he could almost feel the pain draining away, siphoning out of him. At the same time, a cold knot of something unidentifiable twisted and turned in his stomach. His heart rate sped up to a nearly panicked level even as the wound was healed. It was a familiar feeling, and one he'd been worried about for a while, it was that of his own gifts reacting to an outside source.

He looked around worryingly, trying to ascertain what could go wrong and how. The glass bottles of medicine quickly drew his eye, and the gleaming medical instruments seemed to almost shimmer menacingly. Perhaps he was just being paranoid, but he did his best to lean back so the doctor would have to move away from the potential dangers in order to continue healing.

“Milk.” he mumbled, as the pain began to quickly recede. “Er, I'm not sure how to put this, but... can you keep an eye on the room? Make sure nothing uh, wrong happens?”

Milk cocked an eyebrow, staring owlishly at Murphy. "Keep an eye on the room. Why would I take one of my eyes out, much less leave it in this room. Or on this room. How would I get into the ceiling? Last time I destroyed something like that I was reprimanded." She shook her head. "No. I will do no such thing. That is silly."
