*pushes Lunette in Marina's direction?* Lunette, from a certain point of view, is a lot like the magical equivalent of a robot. And she, unlike Marina, is very emotional. Lunette would have all kinds of mixed feelings if she found out that Marina was also artificial in origin, but a strange sort of affection/kinship would probably win out.
I also think that Lunette would find Kiyana very entertaining to hang out with, and would happily tag along with any impulsive thing Kiyana wanted to do at that particular moment.

*nod* Starting with Lunette and Marina sounds good. Any particular locations that Marina hangs around? Lunette's most likely to be in the Library or the Towers & Roof, but I could herd her into a lot of locations with the justification of her exploring (and/or having gotten horribly lost).

Mike is a sexy bastard and a cyborg so he could easily relate to a bunch of problems Marina might have as a robot. He is also an amazing engineer so he could always make a modification of help fix a bug or something if she needs it!

Okay, they have a smidge of an age gap, but possibly Jeriya and Naoko as friends? They're both Japanese (although Naoko has never actually been to Japan), and Naoko is the kind of person who would step in if she thought someone was new and confused.
