Maxwell Kingsley Everett

Male - College Freshman - History Major, Drama Minor - Holy Knight Gunslinger -Super agility and power weakening pistol - Straight - Single -

In short, Max was born in Alaska and enslaved by a bunch of supernaturally powered slavers at a young age, being burned severely when captured. When he discovered his powers, a secret group known as The Order of the Silver Bullet, who are dedicated to wiping out those who abuse their supernatural powers, sprung into action, staging a coup on the slavers and freeing the prisoners. He was inducted by the knights of the order and trained as a squire, until he was promoted to the rank of Field Knight, which essentially allowed him freedom to live as he wanted undercover, returning to the order occasionally to report findings. Max is prejudiced against most people with supernatural powers, mostly for his scarring childhood, but gives him the benefit of the doubt, because he understands the hypocrisy of hating a people that are exactly the same as you. That said, Max often struggles with morals, especially regarding the order, and walks a fine line between grey and black at times, wondering how far is too far. Still, he remains fanatically loyal to the order for saving him, and would fight to the death for their cause.

Squires/Rival Knights
Interactions with other members of the order in general, or simply characters interested in joining the cause, are always good fun for Max. As a Field Knight, he has the authority to make a person a Squire and eventually Knight them with approval of the order. As for rivals, the rank of Field Knight is very general, as there is no higher rank for field operatives. Field Knights are a mixed bag, granted more freedom at the cost of resources, and some flourish, while others wilt out there alone, but often rivalry sparks between knights due to this lack of superior rankings. A challenge of skill or a race to capture a suspect is not unheard of.

Enemies/Suspects/Rivals

Trouble makers who abuse their powers, crime bosses with a big name, and even well-natured but ultimately unhelpful contacts are always fun to RP with, and, given Max's unprofessional nature, often lead to chaotic/fun stories. Alternatively, rival vigilantes might war over control of "Turf" with him

Friends with crazy powers (Especially Fire-Based) and weird outlooks on life

Basically, people with obviously supernatural powers that make Max learn and grow as a person from the slightly fantastic racist person he is to someone a little more mature and worldly. You can never have too many friends, and Max knows this, but his generally impulsive nature makes him hard to get along with for some

Love interests (Particularly anyone with fire powers)

Given Max's huge phobia of fire, a fire manipulating love interest would be quite fun to RP, especially uncontrollable ones. Getting Max to loosen up a bit and set aside his duties for a time to develop and face his fears for the one he cares about would be an awesome arc

Pandora At'eed

Female - High School Sophmore - Wind Sprite - Wind Body and Manipulation - Homosexual - Single

Pandora's mother was a cargo pilot who crashed deep into the north canadian wilderness many years ago, only to be found by tribals who lived nearby. They took her in and cared for her, teaching her about their gods and culture, when one of their wind gods took a liking for her. Long story short, she stayed, and Pandora was born. Her childhood was mostly quiet, although she had quite the rebellious streak, particularly with her sexuality, which the elders frowned upon heavily.

Eventually, she longer for something more then simple tribal life, and left to go pursue a college education, quickly being recruited by Starlight Academy. She joined in a heartbeat, as she always wanted to experience new things, and an island full of super powered kids sounded just too good to be true.

Friends/Rivals

Pan is always willing to talk to somebody new, and learning more about the island and its people is very high on her "To do" list.

Rival/Love Interest

Likewise, while she's generally pretty calm, she has a marked competitive streak, and likes winning a lot, but also loves competing, friendly or otherwise. She is also a very flirty person, and as competition brings out the most of, well, everything in her, she tends to gain affections for her rivals

Enemies

Pandora doesn't make many enemies, but she cannot stand biggots or people who commit crimes against nature, (Specifically air pollution, but basically anything counts for ticking her off) and people too proud to let their hair down.

Elizabeth Mabel Carnagie

Female - Entrepreneur - Majority Shareholder of Carnegie Industries - Bisexual - Open Relationship
Lich - Necromancer - Scryer

Beth was born in 1879, twin sister to Marge Carnegie, and daughter to Andrew Carnegie, a scottish american industrialist who led the expansion of the american steel industry. Being the child of a millionaire philanthropist meant that while she never wanted for something material, she never felt the love of a father until very late into her childhood. Her father very much believed that any man could rise to millions, just as he had, and so he cast her out into the world to make her own way, promising to be a safety net for her, but not giving her a dollar for herself. This would be her undoing.

Living on her own, going from riches to rags, Beth began to dabble in dark magics to earn her keep, with necromancy and even fortune telling coming into her repertoire. Eventually, she discovered her ability to predict the future, actually accurately predict it, and set to work earning her fortune. She got a loan from the bank and took it to the stock market. In a matter of days, she went from nothing to possessing an empire rivaling her father’s. Andrew couldn’t be prouder, and was oblivious to her powers.

Eventually, Beth was set upon by a few of her former colleagues whom she had fallen in bad relations with. They resented her wealth and how she used it, donating to schools and museums but advocating her father’s brutal workplace conditions. They set a curse upon her, cursing her to live forever and see the fruits of her corruption. And see them she did, and she didn’t like it at all.

It took time, but Elizabeth changed her ways. Her workers got shorter shifts and higher pay, and her donations were directed more tactfully. Her immortal heart had swayed. While she still practiced VERY corrupt business techniques, she did them with good intentions, and generally tried not to exploit the lower class, instead targeting the corrupt upper class. It was time to fight fire with fire.

Eventually, after more and more attacks on her home, she decided it was best for her to leave the country. She left the business in suitable hands and fled to Monte Carlos, where she has lived for many years now, silently managing her empire from the safety of the island, and generally keeping her head down, slowly spreading her roots out on the island. There she met Elaina Ria, her mistress, who drowned her in sin, but also reminded her what she fought for. Beth had been dead for many years now, and yet she still felt so alive. That was what she fought for, for every man, woman and child. Her goal? Eliminate the evil on the island in any way she could. Not the sinners, no, she was one of them too, after all. But she knows deep down there was always a bigger monster to kill.

Although a little hypocritical of her, Beth has learned much about business from her father, particularly his tricks for saving money, such as underpaying the workers. While she believes herself above such practices, about 90% of her employees are undead, compelled to serve her without cost. She typically offers rewards for this service, such as favors and family care in place of money. Most of her staff works for her out of loyalty or desire for immortality, and don't typically receive monetary compensation for their work. Most staff are housed on the premises they work, due to the nature of their Resurrection.

She currently lives in Carnegie Manor on Monte Carlos, a large, secluded manor with plenty of spare acreage, with a living staff of about 30 servants that served Beth while she was a child. She raised them all from the dead and smuggled them along with her to the island so that she could bring a piece of home with her. Besides her undead servants, nobody else lives in Carnegie manor, and most believe the building to be haunted.

Debtors/Business Associates

Elizabeth is vying for control of Monte Carlos, "For the Greater Good," and so would try her very hardest to make a large array of contacts. Money is no object to her, and she'll gladly donate her funds to any cause she deems just, so long as it earns her a favor. That said, she expects unbridled loyalty from her cohorts, and so anything less then that may lead to a less then pleasant experience for the would-be-traitor.

Immortal Friends

Being a fairly young Immortal, Beth often seeks advice from those with more life experience then her, and often desires very strongly for the company of those who cannot die and desert her. She is not above making friends with mortals, but those whom she befriends this way have a nasty habit of coming back as reanimated corpses.

Undead Servants/Advisers/Friends

Most of Elizabeth's former friends, including the waitstaff of her manor, were once living, now brought back to serve her. While she is not cruel to her servants, and always offers them the choice to leave her service, they mostly stay out of a sense of loyalty to her. Some of her once-living close friends also wander the halls of the manor, on a class above the servants. She is also all too partial to befriending undead that she herself has not raised, for a sense of perspective on the matter.

Underground/Business Rivals

Beth has made quite a few enemies over the years, both publicly and less so. She is well known on the underground, although her name is not directly known, and none of her crimes could ever be traced back to her. A topic could consist of forced pleasantries in public, or something more sinister...

Lovers

Last but not least, Elizabeth likes to entertain many lovers. Her usual style is that of a simple one-night stand, but she has been known to get caught up in more complex affairs. She prefers not to make company with a mortal, as she fears the loss of one she loves, and would never want to subject them to her torment.

Belladonna Lucine Cunneen

Female - Mercenary/Bounty Hunter/Thug/Assassain - Occasional Impersonator of a Red Cross Assosiate - Ambiguous Sexuality
Vampire - Anthropomorphic Rabbit - Space/Time Anomaly - Genetically Enhanced Super Soldier

Belladonna wasn’t always a carnivorous, bloodthirsty, rabbit-like hitwoman who lurks the dark alleys of Monte Carlos at night. No, long, long ago, she was a happy, normal girl, from Caerbannog, Ireland. She had two parents that loved her very much. They loved her so much, in fact, that they lived for her. To please their daughter was all that ever mattered to them. Though her parents loved her, Alicia lived what she considered to be a cursed life. Everything that ever could go wrong would, that was the rule she lived by. Nobody sat by her at school. She always missed the bus. She always forgot her lunch. She was always picked last for sports. She always failed her tests.

Life sucked.

In another world, Belladonna was never born. Her mother miscarried, and the baby Bella was unfortunately lost. The parents were beside themselves with grief. To keep their minds off the baby, they both purchased a pet rabbit, naming it Belladonna, exactly what they planned on naming their daughter. They loved that rabbit with every bit of their heart and soul. Little Bella hopped her way through life, in constant bliss, as everything seemed to go her way. She was always fed. She was always played with. She was never alone for too long. She always got a treat.

Life was good.

In yet another world, Bella’s life was not all that different. Her parents still loved her very, very much, and in fact, they likely loved her MORE than any of her other parents in other worlds. There was, however, one very small difference. Belladonna and her family were bloodthirsty murderers. At least, that’s what the news reporters called them. They used a different word. Vampires. Yes, in this world, Belladonna and her parents were vampires, and some of the most feared in all of Ireland, at that. They never wanted for blood, and had almost every authority figure in the United Kingdom under their control.

Life. Was. Good.

Then, one day, Bella (The human one) was kidnapped. Hauled off in the night. Her parents searched for her for days, weeks, months, years… They never found her. It was likely for the better. Bella was brought to a horrible place, a testing ground for a super soldier serum, run by a group that was partial to using children as test subjects.

Subjected to the serum, Bella’s form became more powerful, but her sanity also slipped. As the machine pumped this new blood into her, something changed in Bella. She thought what might just have been her first pleasant thought to herself…

Things couldn’t possibly get worse.

Meanwhile, Bella (The rabbit) was going about her business, hopping around, eating vegetables, when suddenly she felt herself being torn apart, not physically, but… spiritually…

Likewise, Bella (The Vampire) felt herself pulled from her body, right during the peak of her current hunt…

The three timelines merged, and Bella the human and Bella the rabbit and Bella the vampire found themselves fused together, into something… Surprisingly unthreatening. The doctors were surprised, to to say the least. Even more so when this two foot tall rabbit began ravenously attacking anyone in sight, slaughtering trained soldiers and doctors alike, and consuming all that she defeated.

After that, she was more than a little unstable. She wandered the world, afraid to go back and let her parents see her like this, but overjoyed still that her bad luck seemed to have left her, scared off by not one, but two lucky rabbit’s feet that Bella now possessed

She eventually found her way to Monte Carlos, though she has no recollection of when she arrived or how long she has been here.

Weird Friends

The unusual nature of Bella's powers mean that she interacts in very interesting ways with others like her. Any weird combination of characters would probably lead to a very interesting topic and story.

Targets

Bella is, after all, a vampire, and a particularly bloodthirsty one at that. While somewhat incompetent at times, she can be a horrifyingly good hunter when she sets her mind to it. She also does quite a bit of work as a thug or bounty hunter, though she generally doesn't care to much for money, but rather, the thrill of the hunt. These kinds of topic can be set to no kill if the other participants wish it.

Friends/Enemies with Mental Powers

Bella is incredibly gullible as well as mentally vulnerable, so is easily manipulated into doing the bidding of others. While she can be counted as a powerful asset, her mind is fickle, and as soon as another convinces her of something else or else controls her mind manually, she'll shift gears completely.

Edgar Ludwig Fulton

Male - Professor of Theatre - Homosexual
Vampire - Essence of the Arts - Commanding Voice

What a piece of work is man,
How noble in reason,
How infinite in faculties, in form and moving,
How express and admirable,
In action, how like an angel.
In apprehension, how like a god!

Edgar was born in 1570, ironically, on Shakespeare's birthday, in captivity on the Monta Carlos islands. In those days, the island was in its late stages of habitation by pirates. His father himself was a pirate, whose crew had captured his mother's vessel and were trying to ransom them. His mother, coming from old money, had plenty to keep the pirates interested in her well being.

Edgar's parents conceived him several months into her captivity. Afraid of what might happen to them, his father stole a ship and set off in secret, making for the nearest settlement. There, he sold the ship, and used the money to get them a charter boat back to England.

A long journey later, and the young man that was Edgar was finally home in Stratford, Britain. The money of their family had been plenty to provide for Edgar and his parents, and the boy finally pursued an education. He studied well and learned all there was to know, with particularly keen interest in the fine arts.

His life changed forever, when at the age of twenty, Edgar visited the playhouse and saw “Henry VI, Part II” He was enthralled. He began to frequent every performance of Shakespeare’s plays, eventually getting a role as an actor. He worked everywhere, and with everyone, from Shakespeare himself to Beeston to Moone to Betterton.

While in an obscure play called "The Tragedy of Poisonwood," he met a man named Sorin. The two took to each other quickly, and became remarkably close. Eventually, Sorin revealed himself as a Vampire, unfortunately passing his curse along to him. Edgar was not too bothered, but suddenly found himself to be restless, unable to sleep, even during the daytime. When he questioned Sorin, the man asked him where he was born.

Monta Carlos. He understood now. His curse demanded he returned home.

Sometime in the late 1800’s, he ventured home, to Monta Carlos. He found that, surprisingly, there was a school there now, teaching everything under the moon. Naturally, he applied for the position of Theater professor, and was accepted.

Now, finally, he could sleep easy, in his new home, doing what he loved.

Students

Edgar is one of the best teachers of Theater in the world, for the reason that his students not only must preform for him, they must do it well. Often, if one of his former students is having trouble, they will return to him for a refresher course, and will be amazed with the speed of the results they receive.

"Victims"

Students that are just in his class to get a few extra credits so they can graduate, random passerby on the street, and all other manner of unwilling participants in the drama that is Edgar's life may find themselves pulled in to center stage. This can create quite amusing topics.

Mentally Resistant Characters

Whether they're a student or a stranger, characters who are brought to the center of Edgar's stage, only for him to find they are not receptive to his powers, would make for an interesting topic. (Especially characters that hate singing and dancing, and have to try and escape the musical around them)

A potential plot.

Ignatius is a big businessman in town. He also looks like this and has pointy teeth. He has a reputation for being downright ruthless when it comes to things like buying out other companies, and he's exactly the kind of guy that most people are going to assume is head of some big crime family. If you're looking for a suspect for him to investigate.... Well, there he is.

A different potential plot: Pandora's still pretty new to the island, yeah? I could throw Ophion (x in my sig) at her - he does school tours.

Ignatius vs. Maxwell sounds pretty fun, did you have a specific plot in mind?

I BRING THE BEAUTIFUL GIFT OF MIKE KEITH TO THE TABLE!
Well mostly.

I have have two possible plots for Mike and any of your characters

For Max:
Well Mike is an expert engineer and the like. He is also trying to make a company that creates magic infused high tech weapons. So yea. He can give Max all the interesting weapons to help him, as long as he has cash of course.

For Pandora:
Mike is from an alternate universe and is extremely interested in all the diffrent species. He also needs things to power his soon to be factory to create said items above and something that can infuse magic into technology. So yea, he would be conducting experiments. Nothing over the top though unless you wanted it.

And I bring Malek as well, for a very special reason.
You see he was born from a dragon emperor and human. The dragon clan he lived with was both insanely powerful and feared. So humans took action to end them. They purged the clan and Malek is the only known survivor. I think it would be troublesome for a group like the Order of the Silver Bullet to know that a Naritoloth is both alive and is the son of the emperor of the clan. Especially when Malek's goal is to recreate the clan.

So sorry for taking so long, had IRL stuff going on and gut too busy to RP.

Mike and Max sounds cool, Max would totally need weapons to do his whole batman thing, and since he's with The Order, he has disposable income.

Max and Malek would also be really cool, it sounds like a very interesting plot line! I could see a grand battle waged!

Pan would probably be cool to RP with Mike too, though she'd likely reject the experiments if anything was done to restrain her

Sounds cool! What were you thinking, exactly? Business associates, friends, or rivals? Do you have any ideas for topics?

Addaiel's business is set up way off in the Andromeda Galaxy, and I don't feel like expanding any time soon, so probably not business partners. Since Addaiel isn't exactly monogamous himself, casual flings? He also seems to differ with her on her philosophy of heroism. Beth seems to be chaotic good, while Addaiel is strictly lawful good. That could spark quite a rivalry.

As of now, I still haven't introduced Addaiel to the island. That would be a good start for a plot.
