Evie dropped onto the seat across from her, lounging back, sweat coating her body.
"Phew," She wiped her forehead, taking deep breaths, her smile not wavering. "Damn right it was. You certainly looked like you were enjoying yourself."
She didn't give any indication that she'd noticed anything, the only thing that was amiss was the cheeky look she was giving her.
"Buuuuuuut..." She sat back up, rubbing her hands together. "I hope you don't think we're done yet. That was just the beginning! Wait here a bit."
She jumped up from her seat, letting Morrigan have a chance to rest up, crossing over to the bar at the side of the club and ordering the two of them some more drinks. She thought to herself while she waited, wondering if she'd overdone it a little bit. She liked Morrigan, thought she was fun, even if she seemed a little clueless sometimes. While she did enjoy watching her get all flustered, Morrigan was very naive. She probably wouldn't realise how much she was messing with her unless she said it. Maybe she was being a little too mean.
Bah, not like it mattered anyway, Evie had no idea if they'd even talk to each other again after tonight. No use worrying about it.
She eventually returned to the table, carefully balancing half a dozen or so shot glasses in her hands, lowering their gravity enough to keep them steady without spilling out. She placed them all down on the table.
"Alright!" She started to explain. "I got us some Vodka now. Ya gonna have to drink these a little differently from the Margarita's. You wanna get it all down in one go so you taste it as little as possible."
To demonstrate, she picked up one of the glasses, leaned her head back, and downed the drink. Her face scrunched up as the liquid passed through her, she'd tasted enough to almost cough, but she kept it down.
"There!" She said, smiling again. "Try it!"
