Milk dusted herself off, wiping some of the dirt off her body. She watched as Lelei got up, noting the wounds she left on his body with her spines. She nodded, stepping back. "Good. You put up a good fight. I am looking forward to seeing what else you can do."

She cocked her head to the side at his question however. "Tricks? I only hold bones, not tricks." She didn't really understand the question.

"You're a funny one, Milk..."

Lelei had to chuckle for a moment at Milk's obliviousness. There was growing evidence that Milk was not all there in the head. Not that she wasn't an intelligent young woman. But more in the sense that maybe she did not quite pick up on many social cues.

"... Lets just see if you can do anything else besides make pointy bones."

This time around, Lelei wasted no time starting their next round. Only a second after taking up a ready stance, this time with closed fists and tighter arm positions, he lunged right at her. This time, instead of a grab, he feinted left before swinging with a right hook aimed right at her head.

Milk set into her normal stance just as Lelei did, but wasn't expecting Lelei to suddenly change tactics. Most people she fought only knew one or two styles, and Lelei seemed like a solid grappler to her. Then again, she hadn't had a proper fight in a while, so she was a bit rusty. She took the hook head on, and fell over like a sack of bricks. Her weight made it so that she didn't go flying, luckily enough.

Milk was dazed from the punch, and quickly attempted to scramble to her feet.

Landing one good hit on Milk felt for Lelei. Not that he was pleased for hitting a young lady. But more like he was satisfied with finally having landed a solid punch on his fellow sparring partner, and that punch was not countered in some unforeseen way. Milk simply took it and went right over onto the ground. A meaty hit.

After their first round together, Lelei was tuned to what Milk could take and what she was capable of. So a hit, even to the head, was unlikely to really hurt her, as opposed to someone less durable. Consequently, he was also confident in pulling off his next move on her.

Not giving her a moment to regain her composure, Lelei went for Milk's legs. He made to grab one of her ankles, then swing her wide to hurl her against a nearby tree.

Milk sprouted bones from her leg the moment Lelei grabbed her, but he threw her too quickly for them to make a difference. They'd pierce the skin on his hands at least.

The fighter slammed into the tree, cracking it in half as she hit. This went on for several more trees, before Milk came to a stop. The only reason she did stop was because of the large boulder she slammed into, embedding her in from the force of the throw.

Surprisingly, Lelei came out of the throw not entirely unscathed. Only after he had sent Milk flying did he notice that his hand was bloodier than it had been previously. In the heat of the moment, he had not even registered Milk's bone spikes puncturing his palm. It was no matter. The pain was being blocked by adrenaline, and he was acting so quickly that it hardly mattered.

Not wanting to give up his advantage for anything, Lelei chased Milk through the trees she had broken through. Hopefully the school(or whomever had control of the grounds) did not mind a few snapped trees.

Milk would not spend too long embedded in the boulder. Quickly following her impact with the rock, she would be shoulder checked in the chest by Lelei hoping to maintain her stun long enough for another grab. Taking her by the shoulders, he yanked her form the rock and slammed her face down on the ground and tried to pin her arms behind her back while he straddled her and began counting.

Milk had just freed one arm from the boulder when Lelei slammed his weight into her. In her mind, she was cursing herself for letting her skills get this sloppy. She vowed to rectify this in the future.

She struggled under Lelei, but the shark had her pinned nicely. The most she could do was extend more of the spikes from her back and arms to attempt to force him off her, but it was likely Lelei's win this time.

Lelei knew that Milk would try bringing out her bone spikes again. There was little doubt that it was a useful ability in a combat scenario. So when she tried growing them out of her back to dissuade his pinning attempt, he was not surprised. Though he was not necessarily completely unharmed by them at the same time.

He knew he only needed to hold out for a few more seconds while he counted the pin, so he endured. He tried pulling himself up as far as he could without letting up the pressure on Milk, just to keep the pressure on the spikes down. At the greatest extent, he was able to just gently rest his chest and arms on the spikes. They pricked but did not puncture, and it only lasted a second as he finished the count triumphantly.

"... And out!"

He immediately let go of Milk and got off the girl.

"This round goes to me, Miss Milk! Your bone spikes aren't so invincible after all, huh?"

Milk was annoyed that she was pinned so easily, and stood up, dusting herself off.

"Nothing is invincible. Invincibility is a concept, not a reality." She stated, sinking the spikes back into her skin. They weren't helping as much as they had been. The fighter was impressed with Lelei's skill. She hadn't had a match like this in a very long time.

"You are impressive. Let us continue." She took another stance, waiting.

((Sorry this was so late! I never got an alert for it.))

Lelei was back in his own stance almost immediately. Milk was not the only one enjoying the fight. If Lelei's big toothy smile was any indication, he was pumped by the prospect of finally getting back into the rhythm of fighting. He had spent so much time working for the school, breaking up little conflicts here and there, that he had not found the time for a real spar, with anyone. And the "fights" he broke up between students hardly counted as fights worth his time and effort.

For their next round, Lelei took things a little slower. After a couple of pins, he felt that they had both learned a thing or two about each other. Now it was no longer a demonstration of strength so much as it was an actual tactical fight.

"So tell me, Milk..."

He feigned a lunge toward her.

"... Where did you learn how to fight?"

After a quick step to the side, he made a swing at her from up high.
