There are a number of questions raised here:

Is a moderator allowed to post anything that he/she wants?
- In a thread that he is moderating?
- In a thread that he is not moderating?
- In a Rant thread?

Do certain beliefs automatically disqualify a person from being a moderator?

Assuming you are not a bot, these should be in their own thread--moderator requests is a thread for people to post their... requests, basically. For things to be moved.

In short: No, a mod cannot post anything they want, they are still bound by the rules. Mods do not mod threads, so none of that is an issue. We don't have rant threads.

The conditions for being a moderator are a thing to be discussed with the head admin, Kyros.
