She liked taking risks—risks that she could afford to swipe with ease. ”Of course!” she quipped and waited for the game to begin. Jacob had actually gotten off a decent shot and watched as the formation exploded, balls rolling to various corners of the table. Unfortunately none of them were pocketed for the two. ”Mnn~ Thas’ alrite luv, we should prolly give ‘em some sort of chance,” She even worried in the slightest when they pocketed three solids before the fourth was missed.

”Oh, oy’m up!” She made her way over, noting to only aim for Stripes. It was only so easy to catch up to them, scoring three shots with ease. There was another she lined up for and took the shot. She ’missed’. Lenn kind of wanted to have fun…even if she was luring them into a false sense of hope. Cruel, but that’s what they got for calling her sugar tits. That was only reserved for Jacob but she couldn’t see him calling her that anytime soon.

The smaller guy anxiously went to take his shot and she noted just how poor of an angle he was in and how horrendous his aiming was. He wasn’t really even paying attention; most likely trying to show off. Finally the stick cracked against the cue and hit…absolutely nothing. She reached for Jacob’s hand and squeezed it. This was kind of exciting! It was almost like what he wanted only…There was no killing involved; only sticks and balls. ”Yer up, luv!

Jacob was starting to catch on to Lenn's little game. He almost blurted it out loud too! Her unshakable confidence and all the little bits of arrogance sprinkled all about were his cues. They were hustling the poor saps on the other side of the pool table. Or at least he thought they were hustling them. Jacob was not well informed about the proper definition of hustling. Whatever the case, he was not going to let Lenn do all the work in taking the guys' money. He had to contribute too. Even if his contribution was the not-so-good-half of their duo.

When it was Jacob's turn, he made a little show of pacing from side to side, trying to find the right angle on the shot before actually taking it. When he finally picked his angle, he made one last pass behind Lenn and gave her a nice little slap on the bum. Aside from that, he made no other expression, as if nothing had happened.

He lined up his shot on the Stripes and, after a bit of tuning, made his shot. Click. Clack. Jacob would be the most surprised to find that he managed a two-fer, sinking two Stripes with one shot.

"Ha! Check out those skills, assholes!"

Jacob immediately looked like he regretted the taunting. He was such a nice guy usually. Insults like that did not come out very often. Looking a little sheepishly at Lenn, he went and tried a second shot. It was not as good as the first. As in, he missed.

"Alrighty. You're up, boys."

The bigger man scoffed at Jacob’s smack talk. Obviously out of the two, he was better than his scrawny pal who promptly got smacked in the back of the head for trying to show off. He grumbled some very unpleasant things about the teacher before he lined up his shots, pocketing two more to even out the score. The third he missed and swore, knowing now that all he did was tie up the game since his friend was no help.

He was obviously very competitive. Then again with a bet that’s way over a mere twenty, anyone would be. She could see how Jacob finally caught on and even goaded the pair. Oh boy she got a good laugh out of that! ”Yeh you show ‘em, luv!” she cheered and finished off the wings by the time it was her turn. It was a close game indeed! The balls were at extremely difficult angles this time and the big man snickered with confidence.

There was no way a mere woman could finish this and he summed up her boyfriend’s shots as a fluke.

Then again, Lenn was no ordinary woman. She smiled in that eerie cheerful way. What did she have to smile about? The other team only had a couple more balls to put away and that would be game! Well, she rounded the table, studying the angles. Calmly, she chalked up the tip of her stick. ”Hm. Looks loike this is game, mate,” She looked up to the big man who’s smile widened. He was about to take both rolls of cash left on the corner of the table, but—”Not yet! Les’ not be so hasty here—oy’ didn’t say it was game for me. It’s game for you. Oy’ hope you got enough money for lunch tomorrow.”

The boys started to laugh obnoxiously! ”What’re you talkin’ ‘bout, doll? You’re gonna lose! There’s no way you can get the rest!” the smaller one laughed…and eventually stopped laughing at Lenn’s confident smirk. ”Aheh, check it out, that chick really thinks she can win!”

She ignored them, focusing on the table instead. There was a blue stripe she focused on. She took the shot, hitting the blue! It hit a wall, bouncing to the right, hitting a yellow that went straight into a corner pocket! The blue bounced off the hit, diving sharply down and bouncing off the lower wall, sailing towards the red that got promptly knocked into the upper side pocket before slowing down. The other two gaped at such a shot and cringed as she aimed at the black for the second shot that was practically across the table. The cue sped forth, narrowly passing between a pair of solids and kissed the black, causing it to dart harshly towards the blue. It bounced off the blue that slowly rolled into a corner pocket. The smaller man screamed in frustration as the black slowly rolled back towards her way. It’s speed started to slow and eventually rolled right up to the edge of the pocket she stood at. She stared at the ball expectantly until it finally dropped inside. Yes! ”Alroight, we did it! She put the pool stick on the table and went to give Jacob a victory hug and kiss. Honestly? She wasn’t sure about those shots, but it was obviously worth the risk. Would she tell him that? Of course not!

The big man looked like he was about to snap his stick in half but instead, he picked up the two rolls and…walked them over to the couple, placing them in Lenn’s hands. Oh by all means, he didn’t look happy about losing that much cash but he resentfully grumbled ”Good game. You guys earned it…and I apologize for earlier.” Lenn smiled and with good sportsmanship, she tucked the rolls into her jacket and gave the man a handshake. ”’pology accepted, mate. You weren’t so bad yerself,” He then offered a handshake for Jacob as well before leaving to beat up on his pal for being so useless.

She looked to Jacob now, hoping he was pleased with the play. One of the rolls were pulled from her jacket and pushed into his hands. ”That was fun! You were great too, y’kno’ that? This is yours n’ oy’ won’t take no fer an answer. We worked as a team to win…Hm!” It was fun pulling him into it and she made a mental note to hang out at this bar instead of the club. There were more games and fun than just sitting in an obnoxious club. ”Y’ready to get outta here?” She toyed with his shirt in that kind of way. ”Oy can show you sum’ more tricks at your place~”

Jacob could only chuckle ominously behind Lenn as the two men prematurely cheered for their victory. They were so getting hustled. He also had to hand it to Lenn for keeping her skills hidden so well and leading the two guys on, instead of just annihilating them right off the bat. Jacob preferred more direct and quick routes when it came to confrontations, and if he had been the one with the special aiming skills he would have stomped them with his first shot or something. It would have made a nice show for them, and they could talk about it later to their buddies.

But Lenn's method of drawing out the bout had its advantages too. Her approach was more... dramatic. Each shot she took was masterful, yes, but it also had the element of anticipation and suspense. If he knew anything about Lenn and her abilities so far, it was that the way she handled the last ball must have been planned and not a fluke.

"Game. Set. Mat--"

Lenn's perfect lips cut off his post-game quip. Not that it was a bad thing.

"Nice shots, hon!"

The approach of their opponents was respectful, to a degree, and Jacob could return it in the same. Jacob of course took the man's hand and gave it a firm shake, nodding to him.

"No hard feelings, sir. And I too apologize for my words. Go easy on your buddy though."

The money in his hand would have been pushed back to Lenn if she had not said anything against it. She said that they had been a team. But if they were honest, she did most of the work. He was only there to act as the foil.

Of course, there were important things on his mind the moment she started tugging at shirt. A hand wrapped around her to give her a bottom an affirmative squeeze.

"Oh yeah. Lets hit the road, babe~"

Jacob was about a notch below just throwing Lenn over his shoulder and sprinting for his apartment with how fast they got out of there, and he could barely keep his hands off of her during the entire trip. In fact, he had a little trouble getting his key in the door when they did arrive because the rest of him was occupied with Lenn!

Oh yes she gave him quite a hard time when he was trying to get the key in. Her arms were wrapped around him, hands daringly roaming up his chest. Nails raked down his chest in her usual taunting way. Down her fingers went until they tugged at his belt. She even chuckled when he fumbled with the lock and finally got it open with them stumbling clumsily inside. Her heel nudged the door closed and she was on the move! Lord knows how, but she slipped out of her boots with ease, her height shrinking just a bit for Jacob. "Finally oy' have you all to m'self." She snickered and closed in on him in that taunting way of hers. With each step, the jacket slowly came off and eventually dropped onto the floor. Closer now...

Then she pounced! Nimble little Lenn latched onto him, strong legs coiling around his waist. Hands immediately combed through his hair and tilted his head upward for a kiss that grew more passionate and heated. Her lips parted his and she could taste the beer and subtle hint of wings still leftover from the bar. Bah, that was perfectly fine! Her lips broke free and drifted away, trailing kisses along his jawline before nipping his ear. She gave a gentle tug and smiled, taking in his scent. The smell of cologne...Old Spice? She couldn't tell but it sent shivers down her spine. She was so close to him, her body practically latched onto him. She nipped at his neck and pulled away for just a moment to drink in his gaze. "Oy' feel so comfortable with you...Where have you been my entire life?" She ran her fingers through his hair again. "Oy' feel so...safe with you. I have never felt that before...Ever." She bit her lip, cheeks coloring when she pressed her forehead against his. Yeah, she was feeling like a sap, but she really felt the need to tell him.

"Oh no! I'm trapped~"

Suffice it to say, Jacob was well and truly in the mood even before they stumbled into his apartment after he finally convinced the door to open. If any neighbors had been out and about that late, they would have seen a randy display of affection usually reserved for inebriated teenagers at a house party. Except Lenn and Jacob were far less clumsy with their hands and probably better looking if he was asked.

Now he was all ready to pounce on Lenn after she started stripping off her boots and jacket. But he was too slow on the draw because Lenn jumped first! Had they not already moved a little ways into his apartment, they would have both clattered to the floor in a heap. But the couch had only been a few steps away and Jacob managed to fall back onto the cushions with Lenn on top of him, showering him with affection.

She may have had him in her grasp, but Jacob was still free to return the kisses. His hands roamed up and down her sides, under and over her clothing, while he lost himself to the heated kiss. He was breathing pretty hard when she pulled away, and he was drinking her in too.

"I'm... happy I could make you feel this way, Lenn..."

He knew what she meant by those words, and the feelings that drove her to say them, but reply could he give? "You're welcome"? He was not that egocentric. He hugged her close as they lay on the couch.

"... It's been forever since someone said something like that to me... It feels nice... I'm so happy to have gone into that club that night..."

His words were sweet and genuine. His hands were affectionate. They clung to her back, rubbing her up and down and holding her close. They slipped down to tug her waist line downward, and traced upward to push her shirt higher.

"Perhaps we can finish what we started that night...'

What did they call this? It was that stage in a relationship where every day felt like a magical day. Oh, something like a ‘honeymoon’ phase. That’s what she was feeling now. Every day that she spent with him melted the ice off her heart. Was this l—Oh no god she couldn’t say that yet. That word—that feeling tended to scare people off and she didn’t feel like chasing after him when she had him right in his grasp.

Speaking of grasp, he was tugging and pulling at her shirt and taking that as a hint along with his naughty little suggestion, she pulled the fabric up and over her head, tossing it aside. ”Y’know, oy’ was thinkin’ th’ same thing…” Her hands trailed down to his waistline and pulled at his shirt. That obviously needed to go it wasn’t needed! My, she was in for a hell of a treat and actually paused to take him all in once the shirt was off. His solid muscle was within her grasp and—Oh~, when she placed her hands upon his chest, she noted his skin was hot to the touch. He was just as heated as she was! Mnn, he would most likely catch her biting her lower lip as she slowly raked her nails down his torso. Such a turn on… In fact, she was so ‘hot n’ bothered’ that his belt was undone and pulled free in a second!

”An’ oy’ promise oy’ won’t fall asleep this time,” She chuckled with a wink and sealed the deal with a kiss. Hell whether their night carried out on the couch or back in his bed, it didn’t matter. Their night was amazing, hot, and extremely sexy in ways that she had never done before~. Honestly, she was a fool for falling asleep the first time! Speaking of sleep, there wasn’t much to be had and after their steamy session had finished, she was fast asleep and didn’t move from his side ever since.

If only either of them were mind readers. Jacob was also grappling with a certain L-word. It was simple, but powerful and carried a lot of weight and meaning. Some people could use it freely and with the expectation that it would not mean as much, and sometimes they were right in their assumptions. But it was all situational, and Jacob was in a situation where it could have been too much. There was always the fear of it scaring the other person off, or saddling the sayer with more baggage than they bargained for. Jacob really did want to use it, but felt it was too soon.

Not yet. Even if they both knew it. Just not yet.

And in his mind, he could still tell her without saying it. When his belt and her top came off, words slipped into a secondary position. Now it was the time of physicality and raw expression. No walls. No inhibitions. Just two people connecting in a most personal way.

They started on the couch because they were already there. It was convenient and big enough to support their antics. The playful triste in his office was but a sampling of what he could do, and what he could offer. The man had many years and many ladies of practice, and he was going to demonstrate it all to Lenn.

The couch was there for the build up, for the time they could play and explore and express. He played the field for her, bringing out all of his tricks and generosity for her, but reeling back just before it got too much. He masterfully worked the peaks and valleys of their physical narrative, keeping tension high and giving time to breathe as well.

The bed was for when things could no longer be contained, and they needed space to romp. There would be the true culmination of the evening's events, and Lenn and Jacob would have a fierce competition of stamina. He hoped he would not get a call from his neighbors.

In the end, it was the wonderful afterglow, where he took Lenn in his arms and molded himself to her shape. Between the two of them--and there was seemingly no space between them--there was no need for a blanket. They were warm, and the room was still hot. And it was just that: The two of them. Nothing more, nothing less. Jacob ended up giving Lenn little butterfly kisses on her neck and cheek and lips as he too fell asleep.

It was probably a good thing they didn’t have anything to do the next day. She slept well into the afternoon and for once did not jolt herself awake out of sheer paranoia. She was very aware of where she was this time around and didn’t spring out of bed. Instead, she decided to take a moment and watch him sleep. She didn’t dare wake him. He looked so peaceful, just like that morning where she dashed out the door. It was tempting to kiss him to wake him up, but she thought of a better solution. Discreetly, she slipped out of bed and snatched up his shirt and tugged it on. She crept out of the bedroom and into the kitchen to brew up a pot of fresh coffee. It didn’t take long and she prepped his coffee just like the way she remembered when they had their café date. Knowing the smell of coffee was most likely to wake him up, she sat down at the table and patiently waited—No, it was more like she went into deep thought.

If there were any doubts before, they were washed away instantly. He was just too good to her…and she felt a bit upset about it. Here she was making him believe that she was something she really wasn’t. The emotions were real; there was no doubt about it…But how does one go from Yes I really like dating you to by the way I sorta lied about myself I actually kill people for money. Just wanted to clear the air~? Honestly, she wasn’t a good woman. Who was she fooling besides Jacob? Here she was beginning to believe her own lie a little—convincing herself that she really was a model and she had a really good relationship. How could she ever tell him? When should she even bother telling him? It was better to control the variables before he jumped to his own conclusions.

…Huh. To think she actually cared about someone’s opinion for once. She smiled a little. He really did do a good job of taking that wall down.

Maybe she…should tell him before things went to deep—No, but what if he rejected her? The smile disappeared and she bit her lip nervously. It was a good thing she was paying attention because she ended up hearing him stir. He had to be awake now. Take a deep breath, don’ freak out. She picked up their mugs and headed for the bedroom. ”Mornin’ sunshine. Looks loike we both slept well,” she chimed and handed him his mug.

The night was a peaceful night for Jacob. Well, it was after their playtime anyway. Said antics had *ahem* drained him... of his energy, leaving only the warm afterglow of the moment and the comfortable body of Lenn. His mind was as empty as--well, he was at peace. That was the point. There was only him and Lenn, and she was in his arms as they slept together.

He must have been even more drained than he had anticipated because when he woke up and looked the clock, it was well into the afternoon. Other observations of note: He was alone in the bed, certain parts of his body were a little sore and sticky, and he needed to change his bed sheets. The first observation of Lenn's absence was met with just a momentary worry that she had run off like the first night. But just as he was quelling his own anxiety, the angel wearing his shirt came back into the bedroom with coffee in hand.

Jacob grinned brightly at her and sat up, not bothering to cover himself up just yet. It had been awhile since he had seen the classic "wearing nothing but his shirt" look, and it looked as good as it ever did on Lenn.

"G'morning to you too, hon."

He stretched, gave Lenn a kiss, and took the mug. Then swung his legs over the side so he could sit and sip.

"Yeah... Well, I don't think we actually got to sleep until technically morning, so it's okay. Thanks for the coffee, by the way. How are you feeling?"
