Personality Description: Very Charismatic! She's a laid back type of person that goes with the flow so long as said flow benefits her. She is also patient and goes at her own pace whether people like it or not. To her? As long as the task gets done. Sadly though, she can't use the same excuse for school work.

Heightened Senses
Since she lacks the ability to see, the rest of her senses are heightened. From Sounds to smells, her body made up for the loss of her eyes. She can also detect other people's 'aura', making it surprisingly difficult to ambush or catch her off guard. She'll use her own ki to 'broadcast' it within ten feet much like a bat would do with Sonar. She can also channel ki to certain areas of her body before impact, lessening the damage as much as possible.
Martial Arts
Being born into a family who lives and breathes martial arts has it's benefits. While she isn't the best with hand-to-hand combat, she's very proficient at weapons--mostly swords and two-handed weapons such as the staff she's mostly seen with. She can also use her ki offensively, channeling it through physical touch for extra damage. She cannot channel ki through objects.
Biography:
Being born into martial arts is the dream of most people--especially those really into the movies. It required extensive training, discipline, and a whole lot of stamina. Her family was one of the greatest dojos in the country, winning tournaments left and right. The family name was a heavy weight upon her shoulders and it was something she could not hold a candle to; she had been born blind. Nao was the one and only born and the hope for a proper heir to the dojo was lost along with her sight. Not only was she shunned just because she was a girl, but also shunned because her father deemed her 'a waste of space' as he always so fondly put it.
She was forbidden to even step forth into the dojo and was basically left on her own on a daily basis. Even her mother was ashamed of her own child which led to resentment towards her parents for making her the way she was. Eventually she learned to fend for herself whenever it came to making food (that was a challenge), maintaining her hygiene, or even leaving the grounds to explore elsewhere. Her parents didn't care about what she did so long as she kept out of the dojo and focused on her studies.
One day she was robbed out on the street and beaten when she tried to fight back, drawing the attention of a wanderer. For reasons unknown, he decided to help her. After countless nights of sneaking out, Nao met with the wanderer and he taught her everything. From discovering her abilities to being able to engage in a fight, she had grown into a very capable woman. He had even helped her get into the Academy, but on the day that she was leaving, she tried finding the man to thank him for everything. She couldn't find him at all...Almost as if he never existed. She decided then that she'd show her appreciation through her actions and prove her parents wrong about her being a 'waste of space'.
