''I'll make sure we exit the forest as near to the Administration building as possible'', Samael said, changing the direction they were going slightly to match his words. Up until then he was just aiming for a campus, no matter the actual point of exit. With specific destination now in mind, however, he swiftly changed his course, though he wasn't even sure that change would be noticeable to his companion.

''You're welcome'', he said once more quietly before the topic finally moved onto something lighter. ''I was contemplating joining some kind of Shifters club we have on campus, but I haven't done it yet'', he said, thinking how he was too conscious of his free time to just join before knowing how much of it a club would take. ''With studying and spending odd nights working and my father's bar I already have a somewhat limited amount of free time compared to others'', he said, moving one branch out of his way before he ducked, the one after it being too thick to move.

''Not that I mind it'', he continued after making sure Drei had passed safely as well. ''I like working at the bar and I want to inherit it from my father one day as well, so I enjoy learning as much as I can about managing it from him. I do need some time to spend with friends and my younger brother too though.''

"That'll be great, thanks," Dreizel said when Samael offered to lead him to an exit nearest the Administration building. That would certainly speed things up and Dreizel wouldn't unnecessarily get lost while looking for it. He followed Samael as through the path, noticing nothing new in their direction. There might be things in here that Samael knew were dangerous, such as animal territories and whatnot Dreizel has read about in books, and the redhead might be leading around them to avoid them. He would know these woods best after all.

Dreizel was certainly surprised to know that the other worked at a bar. And he was all the more intrigued to know Samael was the heir of it. "Really? So you know how to mix alcohol and whatnot, then? Like make cocktail drinks and stuff?" Dreizel asked. He was curious about the alcohol here. Even though it was technically something that angels would avoid drinking, he technically wasn't an angel now. He was kicked out. So there was not much reason to not try it, not that he knew of any consequences in trying anyway.

"I've never tasted alcohol," he admitted as he followed Samael and ducked under the thick branch as well. "I am way past the legal age. A hundred and... seventy... no. A hundred and sixty-four years past legal age, to be exact. Oh, and I haven't tried a smoke or driven a car before... but I'm not too sure about those two things, whether I wanna try them or not. They look pretty dangerous."

''Yes'', Samael said as they continued on their way, the forest around them quiet and calm, the smaller animals having probably sensed some sort of predatory presence coming from Samael and Samael himself working hard to avoid areas in which he knew the bigger ones appeared. ''I can make and serve quit a few drinks, though I'm still learning. My father is much better at it than me.'' Sometimes Samael was convinced that his father knew at least trice the amount of recipes for mixing drinks Samael and was just teaching him to his son at a snail's pace on purpose, not wanting Samael to take over the bar too early, as if just waiting for Samael to change his mind. As if he ever would. Working at and owning that Of Angels and Demons was everything he had ever wanted to do.

''I'll show you to the Of Angels and Demons sometimes then'', Samael said with a smile as Drei said that he had never tasted alcohol before. ''Give you a few drinks on the house to see what you like. You're paying for the rest though. Though, you might get drunk from just one, no tolerance and all. Then again'', Samael said, remembering Drei wasn't actually from this world, ''it might not do anything to you. It will be interesting to find out'', he smiled, already imagining the situation.

''Also, smoking is bad for you'', he said, his voice serious as the sentence had almost been driven into his bones by his mother. He had never actually smoked before, but had been close quite a few times during his teenage years, the only thing stopping him being his mother's voice constantly ringing inside his head. ''Driving a car is not so bad, though only places you could go on the Island are the City and the school. Not much use for the car in the forest, right?'', he said, pointing to the trees and debris surrounding them

"Cool," Dreizel said with a grin when he was told he'd be able to get a few drinks for free. He dismissed the other's warning about getting drunk with a wave and shrugged. "I think I'll be able to handle it. Maybe your alcohol here is different from my world's." He wasn't sure of that, of course, as he's never tasted even the alcohol from there. And both the Elves and Humans had different kinds of alcohol. Angels did not particularly need to eat or drink anything so Dreizel hadn't bothered to try even the food from either race. The berries and fruits in the woods were different though. Some were sweet and some were sour and some had their own unique taste. Dreizel had loved the fruits there. He wondered idly if there were any of those in here.

"I figured. Smoking looks really cool, though," he said. But smoking also made one seem like a demon, so he could do without it. "True, but there aren't many people who own cars here, huh? Since the city is close enough to the academy. And I've read that cars just add to the pollution." One more smoking thing that he thought he could avoid.

"Of Angels and Demons? Is that the bar?" Dreizel asked with a raised eyebrow after a while of walking. He snorted at it. It was a strange name for a bar and Dreizel found it somewhat tasteless. Though that might just be him. Maybe people here found opposites and paradoxes to be interesting names for their pubs.

''Yeah'', Samael said, nodding his head. ''My dad bought it years ago, when my mother and he decided they wanted to settle here. It was already named so, probably by the previous owner.'' The name was strange, and his father always said he had kept it just because he didn't want to confuse the regular customers, but it certainly did fit the atmosphere of the Island, and Samael himself liked it because of that. His father must too, no matter what he said. Not wanting to confuse the regulars only worked for so many years as an excuse. The truth was that the name fitted the place. There was no other for that bar and they both knew it.

''Smoking only looks cool'', Samael automatically repeated yet another of his mother's warning messages. ''It actually burns your mouth and lungs until you get used to up, and by the time you do, you're addicted to the nicotine, can't live without it.'' Having outgrown (for the most part) his rebellious phase, Samael really couldn't understand neither himself for wanting to smoke nor other people. It burned, it was unhealthy, and it was damn expensive, which made it impractical on all fronts basically, and yet... He shook his head. Some things really were beyond him.

''And the City is close enough to walk, but it is still far enough to get really tired and sweaty, especially if it's summer, or freeze in winter. But yeah, most people still don't have cars as far as I know, though everybody uses some kind of transportation.'' He himself for example liked to go to school as a lynx sometimes, as it gave him a chance to stretch his paws and got him there faster too.

''What do they make alcohol from in your world?'', Samael asked, suddenly interested. With so many things to make liquor from here on Earth the possibilities on other planets must be just as numerous. Were there alcohols made from some strange plants that didn't grow here on Earth? He wanted to know suddenly, wondering if there would ever be a way for him to get a taste of Drei's world-literary.

''It would depend on that, I guess'', he continued speaking, shaking his head in order to get get himself out of the fantasy he had fallen into.

"Sounds painful," Dreizel said with a frown when Samael told him about smoking. He decided then that he'd definitely never try a cigarette or a cigar or whatever else they use to smoke here with. Though he had to wonder, if smoking really was that painful, how come a lot of men and women still did it? He'd met a man once back in New York who could consume three packs of cigarette within a day. That definitely wasn't healthy. That man was probably in the addiction stage, the part where he can't live without it. For a bit, Dreizel wondered what had happened to that man and how he was doing now. Was he still smoking three packs a day like he always has?

"We have this thing we call Ubas in our world. It's like grapes from here. We make wine from them. But we can also make wine from other things. Palay, presas... Many are made the way your alcohol is and even use the same stuff. I don't know about how ale is made though, or what specific ingredients they use. I've only been to the vineyards at home. That's where I saw the processes of wine-making," Dreizel explained. "Oh, we have Barlig. I think that's the one they use for ale. I'm not too sure. I've never really cared much about the alcohol was made with.

"And back at home, alcohol is drank as it is. No mixing. No cocktails. Just purely the stuff. That's why I'm interested in the mixed drinks here." Dreizel could see the school buildings from where they were now. But it showed that they were still fairly a ways away from the campus itself.

''I'll mix some for you then'', Samael said, as his mind buzzed with all the different names and was, thing that seemed completely alien yet Dreizel said were similar to things he knew from the bar. Not that he had ever seen wine made in person, though, or any of the other liquor they used at the bar. He knew everything in theory though, how it was made and from what, so Dreizel's recollection of his world's brewing ways immediately sent his mind ablaze.

''I would like to hear more about your world sometime too'', he said, wondering if he should. The man had already shared a lot willingly, though, so simply stating that he was willing to hear more shouldn't set anything off, right?

''If you're willing to share of course'', he added immediately, as school buildings finally entered his line of sight. ''Come on now'', he said the same words yet again. ''We are sort of almost there.'' There was still a way to go though, but now at least they saw what they were aiming for.

"Of course I'd be happy to share my world to you. I can share now, too," Dreizel said as he smiled at Samael. "I can't say it's that different. Most trees and plants from there greatly resemble those in here. Actually, I think they might be the same exact things. The sea, the skies, they're the same. I don't know if it happens here but there is a time when our moon becomes colored crimson."

He looked up at the sky past the canopy above them as he tried to remember the time period of how often that happened. "I forgot how often it happens though," he admitted. "When I remember, I'll let you know." He glanced at Samael again and remembered a realization he had back when he was still new to this world. "I also noticed that normal people have limited of colors for irises. Commonly, brown, blue and grey. In my home, someone could have violet or red eyes. Even gold or orange, thought that's much rarer."

What else was the difference? Dreizel hummed as he tried to recall. "What else... The weaponry there is... less advanced. We still use swords, maces, axes, and bows and arrows in combat. There are also guns, but they are less preferred." The trees were getting a little thinner. Not too thin suddenly, but it was a noticeable slow change of scenery. Dreizel still didn't know how far away the school actually was from here however. He could hear running water from his left as they walked and guessed that there must be a nearby stream close by.

Samael wasn't sure what he thought about what Drei had said. It was interesting, certainly, but some child-like part of him was disappointed as it had been expecting outrageous stories about dangerous, alien things. On the other hand, his adult mind went beyond interesting, to amazed at the fact that even though they worlds were probably far apart, some things were still the same, immediately wondering why. Why that world wasn't outrageously alien? It could have been. However, it seemed that it was mostly similar instead, with races and cultures being different but plants and flowers not.

''The harvest Moon'', Samael said, answering to Drei's words of a crimson Moon almost without thinking, his mind still full of other things. ''It happens here too sometimes. Though it doesn't exactly turn crimson, it's more of an orange colour'', Samael frowned, trying to recall a Wiki article he had read on Harvest Moons a while back. He failed though, which irritated him, and he made a mental note to refresh his memory.

''Yeah, normally people here have a pretty limited eye colour, though the same doesn't always go for the gifted'', he said, his mind finally drifting from his previous thoughts to eye colours. ''People with gifts can have some pretty unusual eye colours too. Though, there are cases when even normal people have strange eyes. For example, I have a friend in class whose best friend from home has almost purple eyes. It's not what's considered usual though'', he finished, shrugging his shoulders.

''Be careful now, ground might be a little wet'', he said as they went beyond some trees and near to the stream. The water wasn't deep or fast but it somehow always managed to make mud spread around it for at least half a meter. ''Jump over that and we're almost at the school. No more than twenty minutes, really'', Samael said as he jumped over the stream himself.

''And there not being guns might just be a good thing'', he said, frowning a bit again. ''Guns and any other advanced machinery have just made it easier to kill people.''

Dreizel nodded. "Yeah, the harvest moon," he said, remembering the period of time it came when Samael told him its name. He did a little calculation in his head. "I remember now. It comes every twelve earth years. And of course, gifted people are an exception to that rule."

He walked more carefully as the other instructed. He followed the other's example and jumped across the stream. He slipped a little upon landing, but he managed to get himself upright before he had completely lost balance. Dreizel chuckled at the little accident as they got back on track.

"Speaking of killing, I've seen a lot of conflicts rise between people from outside this island. Some were so bad that others get killed or houses burn down. Compared to outside, this place is pretty peaceful," he said, then he frowned. "You'd think a lot of the super-powered guys here would feel free to make trouble here or something..." Even in his world, things had become so bad that it resulted to war between two races for generations. And it still hasn't stopped.

"I mean, I'm not saying I want chaos or anything here... I'm just impressed by how this place is governed," he added. Or maybe the people who have found this place are already so tired of pain and anger and rejection from outside that they become docile citizens. "I'll admit I'm a little jealous of how things are run here. Back at home, the best thing the angels could come up with was to referee the war and even call it a game."
