So he didn't remember she came over. He didn't remember all those things she said, how she pleaded him not to overdose himself but he did it anyway, how she cried and cried and cried when he took the second shot, how he called her name.
Adelene didn't know if she should remind him. Part of her said it might guilt Lochlann into staying, but part of her didn't want to go back there again. She broke down in front of him, only because she was so scared to lose someone again. She didn't want to start crying again.
She felt Lochlann pull on her, and she felt like maybe it was okay to give him a hug. To get a hug from him. She was already going to do it, when the door opened, and she flinched and abruptly turned as she heard her name.
"Y-Yes..?" She unconsciously tried to fix her slightly messy hair with her fingers as she stood up to face the doctor completely. The man's presence was making her stomach hurt. "Of course, no problem... I... We... don't have to step out, do we?" She really didn't want to leave Lochlann, not even for a second. She was getting anxious.
