Nia gave a nod and a small smile to Makara.

"Thank you... You are much more helpful than the nuns." Nia's eyes shifted back down to her hands, "Some of them meant well I am sure. One in particular took special care to make sure the other kids didn't bother me. And she would help me say my prayers every night."

Her chest heaved a bit with a sigh and her eyes wandered back to Makara's, "Only problem is... Praying doesn't stop the visions."

Her eyes moved away again and she nodded, pulling herself into a tighter ball on her bed. Her size seemed to diminish even more as she did so. "But I suppose I shall go to see about these resources. If you can find the magic teacher and a bracelet."

Makara had mixed feelings at best about the idea of nuns. He had very little experience with that side of... well, of any part of christianity. He'd started mostly Buddhist, and by the time he was grown he hadn't been anything at all. There had been a lot of outreach groups though, and that was his only real experience with things.

"What is happening to you is probably outside of what praying can help with." Which was nothing at all, as far as he was concerned. Praying had never helped anyone. He was living proof.

It seemed to him that it was time to leave her alone, and he stood up, giving her a small smile. He never looked quite right when he was smiling, but he made an effort just the same.

"I'll go and see what I can find." He said. "Try and rest a bit." Even if it wasn't sleeping, just resting might help some. He gave her one last glance before he let himself out, closing the door behind him to let her rest.

The young girl didn't know much about praying and Christianity. The nuns had told her some but most of it seemed very confusing to her. It all felt...out of context. But then again that was how most things felt for Nia; just out of context.

She did give a small nod in agreement to Makara as he was leaving. She didn't really have much else to say at this point and she didn't feel like wasting more words than were truly necessary. It had been a long day and though she didn't want to admit it, she was painfully tired at this point. She feared that her dreams wouldn't offer must rest but as soon as Makara had shut the door she was crawling under the covers of her bed.

It wasn't a particularly soft bed or anything but at that moment if felt like a piece of heaven. Nia's head hit the pillow, her body curled up into a little ball winding into the covers, and within minutes she was fast asleep.
