It Had To Happen Sooner Or Later

"Visions huh..." Allen wasn't too surprised. I mean again, this island was weird. But why did she feel pain from the visions? He didn't know this. Then he realized what she said meant. A stone face in her vision.

After hearing the knock on the door Allen got up."I'll go answer the door, just rest okay?" He walked to the door and opened it to see who was knocking on the door, they probably heard the screaming and wondered what was wrong.

[thoth=http://i.imgur.com/gb3zdDk.png]He was upset. It was fairly reasonable to be upset, considering one of his dorm children (or perhaps one of their friends) was screaming.

He was betting on it being Nia, and when the door opened to reveal someone who was not Nia, his brows furrowed together in confusion. Even worse, the boy was almost a foot taller than him, a tiny added frustration on a day where he really didn't need any tiny added frustrations.

"Is everyone okay?" He didn't feel the need to answer who he was. He was the dorm parent - she would know who he was, assuming it was Nia he'd heard calling.

Nia almost didn't want the door opened. She was scared it would be someone she didn't want to see. She didn't know who that could be but her nerves were fried right then and her anxiety levels were through the room. Even though Allen was helping her calm down, she was still really freaked out.

However, when Allen opened the door to reveal Makara, Nia felt relieved. This was one of the few people she was actually glad to see at her door. She smiled a bit, her face still wet with tears, at the man in her doorway. "He-hello." Nia just managed to sniffle out. She wasn't really sure what else to say or really how to respond to his question. She wanted to get up, show that she was fine but her body was still shaking and nothing seemed to want to respond to her as it should have.

Allen stepped aside for Makara to enter. "She had a vision, I helped her get here. I think it started in the middle of the courtyard. He noticed that Nia knew the man and shrugged. He assumed more people would be coming to check on the noise but apparently not. He really didn't know what else to say, it's good to have more people here other than him. He was afraid he made this too awkward.

[thoth=http://i.imgur.com/gb3zdDk.png]Nia had definitely been crying, and something twisted inside of Makara. He didn't like when children were upset. Not at all. He supposed most people didn't like it, but he also suspected that he had a worse reaction to it than most.

He didn't know the boy at the door, but he gave him only a quick glance before moving over to sit down at Nia's side. Crying. Definitely crying, and trembling a bit, but she didn't seem to be physically hurt.

"You had a vision?" And obviously she was distressed by it, although he couldn't guess if the vision itself was the scary part, or if what she'd seen in the vision was. "And you were helping her?" He paused, glancing back to the boy. The boy with... cat ears? He didn't recognize the boy at all - whoever he was, he wasn't on of the dorm children living on the floor, which meant he'd gone out of his way to help Nia.

Nia looked at Makara and nodded. "It happened in the courtyard. I was trying to go to the lake." She choked out between sobs. She was trying her best to control herself now. The vision was over and nothing really hurt that bad at the moment. She didn't want to seem weak.

However, despite that her body felt like it was buzzing with adrenaline. Like every hormone and chemical in her system was on high alert. She could feel it shaking her everything and sending her tumbling into a feeling of fear and panic. The only things keeping her from not completely freaking out ware Allen and Makara. Allen had saved her from having to deal with this in the middle of the courtyard and she trusted Makara. Even though she hadn't known him long, she knew that he was only there to keep her safe. That made Nia feel much much better.

"I saw her freaking out so I helped her get here pretty quickly..." He smiled a bit. He was glad he helped someone of course, it was in his nature. "My name is Allen Leoheart by the way...I'm new to the island."

He sat down near the bed. "I got her here by stopping time, it's really useful of course...though I've only discovered it recently."

[thoth=http://i.imgur.com/gb3zdDk.png]Standing there and watching her cry, Makara tried to think of what his mother would do. He didn't remember her - he'd been too young when they'd been separated, and he could no longer remember what she looked like, or even her name. He remembered her solely by the feeling she'd given him, and he tried to think on that feeling before acting.

He took a few careful steps over to Nia before taking a seat beside her, reaching out to gently wrap his arms around her in a hug. It wasn't a very good hug - it was pretty obvious he wasn't much of a hugger - but he was also clearly trying to give her some support.

He was going to ask if she knew the strange boy, but the boy then volunteered that information for himself. A stranger, then. A kind hearted stranger who had gotten her to the dorm. He glanced up at him, giving him a firm nod.

"Thank you for helping her."

Makara's hug felt strange to Nia. Her body was still in so much shock, her consciousness still feeling unsettled in her body after the vision, that it was hard for her to connect well with what she felt. Feeling Makara wrap her arms around her didn't really feel awkward, and she couldn't tell that he wasn't good at hugging. Instead, she only felt the intention of the hug.

It was a strange experience that Nia had never felt quite like this before. All the other times she had experienced a vision she was either completely alone or with the nuns. Which the nuns responded by treating her like she was possessed by some crazy demon. She had never been treated like she was a person who needed support. Who was going through something hard. And for the first time since she could remember, and maybe even ever, Nia felt safe. Even in a time where her body felt like it could have died.

Nia looked up to Allen, "I'm--I'm Nia. By the way..." She still wasn't very good at social conduct but she felt the boy who saved her from having to go through this in the middle of the courtyard at least deserved to know her name.

Allen smiled. "It's nice to meet you Nia." He then looked at Makara and started to walk to the door. He assumed that since he was there, she would be okay. Allen was not very good at this kind of thing and it seemed like Nia was more comfortable with him anyway. But he just remembered what she said about a stone face in the ground.

"I'm going to go now I don't really think I'd be helping much anyway. But before I go what was with what you said about a stone face, if your comfortable with telling me. I'd understand if you wouldn't want to."
