Nia could feel the pressure, now turning to pain, beginning to increase again as time took on its normal pace again. It was then that her vision started to spot over as they came to the second floor. By the time they were in front of her door, it was like trying to see in middle of the night.
She let go of the boys hand, also dropping her sunglasses as she tried to pull her key from her pocket. The ringing was increasing now too, starting to drown out the boys words. She could feel it. It was almost here.
