OMG. Sherry was freaking out. You wouldn't think that after walking back from Oceania Park, that she would walk into an area of cuteness. Well, not really. It had been out of her way by about 50 yards, but when she had heard the yapping and various other noises; it intrigued her. She had at first sneaked up, not sure what to expect. As her sight got closer and closer, a loud gasp escaped her. Cake and cute baby animals? It was a dream for her!

Ever since she had been on she island, she had wanted someone, or something to keep her company. Now, yes she had a new friend and a few acquaintances to keep her company, but her dorm as still cold and alone every night. Sherry ushered herself over to the puppies, making cute noises back to their yaps. "Aren't you the cutest little thing!" She giggled lightly as she stared at a few of them, not being able to settle on one.

Before long, she realized that she had no idea what this was. Some trap to lure her in? Probably, as it had obviously worked. She bit onto her lip softly, darting her eyes from side to side in order to find some sign, some person of authority to ask. She eyed a tall man, unsure if he was just a customer or not. Sherry took a few steps towards him, before clearing her throat as she stared at his back. "Excuse me sir, but what is this place?"

Milo stopped in the middle of checking through texts on his phone (mainly to see if his fiance had gotten into any more trouble with his campaign) when he heard someone clear their throat behind him. He turned, and in front of him was an adorable young girl with very long hair. She looked to be a little nervous, but still understandably delighted by puppies alongside of that. Milo smiled at her easily.

"It's a mini pet adoption fair. These are animals from the shelter down in the city, but I'm hosting this here so students who don't get off campus very much still get a chance to have their own companion." He paused. "This is also to advertise for Student Council elections, but I'll let you in on a secret- that's just a surface thing for today. It's all really about fuzzy animals and pastries."

Milo offered the girl a piece of cake she'd been eyeing. "Are you in the market for taking in and caring for a pet? Prices are cheaper for this little event, too, since we're trying to find them homes with students."

Sherry was happy to hear that the man was very nice to her. She smiled up at him and nodded to every statement he said politely. "An adoption fair!" Her face lit up with excitement. She did a half look back to the animals before she whipped her head around as she hard student elections. "I heard of that yes." She hadn't really voted for anyone, but this man seemed like a good pick.

She gently grabbed the piece of cake, taking a hesitant bite of it, smearing icing on the sides of her face. Sherry opened her mouth to speak, but firmly shut it until she was done chewing. She didn't want any pieces flying out at him. "I mean they are all so adorable, I don't know if I could choose just one!" She giggled shyly, as the money part was something she hadn't thought of. "That's good to know, considering I don't really have that much money." The statement hurt a bit to say. "But I'll be the best mommy I can!"

"I'm hoping for president, so if you have any thoughts or requests around official school business, let me know," Milo said, making it sound very fancy, though still smiling to make sure she knew he was half poking fun at himself.

Oh dear, this girl was far, far too cute. It was ridiculous. She deserved all the cake and puppies the world had to offer, Milo decided in that moment. "Maybe you'll end up getting more in the future, but if you haven't had any pets before, it's good not to overwhelm yourself right away. It's a living creature you'd be caring for, just like you, which would completely depend on you for things like food and love." His expression softened. "Just one can also fill up your heart far more than you'd expect, I promise."

"I'm sure if you have some of your allowance from the academy set aside, it'll work out just fine." He reached down to gently touch her shoulder. "Want me to help you look at the animals? And don't be scared to take all the time you need, of course. This is a big step to take."

"Oh, okay!" She didn't think that she had any requests to add about the school, as she was very content on the state of it. "I will let you know sir!" Sherry nodded agreeably as she finished up her cake; it was very yummy.

"I understand that." Even though many were cute and adorable, she knew that she wouldn't be able to handle more than one. She didn't need more than one at this time, as she needed to figure out how she could manage her new friend. "I want to give it all the food and love it needs, and give it a really good name too." She definitely wouldn't name it anything like her own. Planes meant nothing to her.

"I have enough." It was the after part that she worried about. Would she be able to get enough money for food, toys and other expenses? Perhaps she'd have to get a job. Scary. "Yes please." She nodded even more and glanced over at his hand. It was rather big on her tiny shoulder. "I want your expert advice!"

Milo grinned. Getting a first pet was always so exciting, especially when you were still this young. He wanted to make sure this girl had the highest quality assistance for such an important moment in her life. "I'm Milo, by the way. What's your name, miss, if you don't mind giving it?"

He used the hand on her shoulder to escort her back towards some puppies and kittens, figuring they were the most simple and friendly place to start. "Well, first, tell me what your living situation is like, schedule, and energy. If you have preferences in terms of things like favorite animals or their dispositions and looks, share that with me as well, and we'll match you up with a perfect companion. Every little detail counts in the long run, so don't be afraid to bring something up, even if it sounds silly."

"Do you have any ideas for names yet? This isn't relevant to the pet selection process, but I'd love to hear them. Naming is always fun." Milo picked up a kitten and scritched behind its ears, enjoying hearing a little purr start up.

"My name?" She always found it fun to see people's reactions. "It's Mansmasher3000. But you can call me Sherry." She liked the nicknames people had given her, but that one was her favorite. It reminded her of a cherry. "I like that name though, it's nice to say. M.I.L.O Mi-Lowwww." She played with the name before walking over to the animals.

"I go to school and live in a dorm. I got to school from 8 to 3ish, but I usually go back to my dorm to change or get books." She bit her lip, as she knew that her living situation was not good for a big animal. That's exactly what she wanted though. "I have a lot of energy and I love to run and do other things like that!" Her energy wouldn't be a problem. "For looks? I like ones that look really unique. Not that I don't like single colored ones, I just like to have that coolness about them." She had dreamed of having a pink colored kitten, but that was a long shot. "I-I like big dogs. Like ones that can really protect me and that can made me look, tougher." She huffed her last word as she shook her head ever so slightly. "Maybe something like.. Sparkle?" She giggled to that, as it wouldn't suit her animal at all. "Maybe something unique like... Allamara."
