It was mid afternoon and Lochlann had Emily on his left side. He was holding a cup of coffee in his right hand and sipping it as they walked down the strip. He'd agreed to run another errand for Cabel and it had paid well. Lochlann wondered if he should feel bad about dropping of a small bag of what he assumed was some kind of drug to a woman who looked like she was surprised Lochlann wasn't puking rainbows, but he didn't.
It meant that he could finally take Emily out for a proper birthday present. He decided to leave it up to her, and since the weather was good (by that, he meant not raining) he was content to walk with her down the downtown.
"Do you see anywhere you might want to go?" he asked her.
This part of the city looked familiar but he was walking with no destination, letting her lead or flipping a coin if they couldn't make a decision.
