(Be prepared for awkwardness for a moment.)

The Unicorn pulled the two men she'd knocked out onto her back, and bit a third. The other two were picked up by the dragons, before all three disappeared from view, taking the men with them.

Frankie's breath came in short gasps as she continued to lose mass amounts of blood through the shoulder. There was a small pool of red on her bed beside/beneath her shoulder. "L-lieu...Tenant Russ..el." she gasped out, desperately fighting for conciousness. "I...blood...can't.." she gasped, tears springing into her eyes, but she didn't cry.

She was losing her fight for conciousness, that much was obvious, but she was still struggling to. Her body was giving off slight tremors as being shot sent her body into shock.

He looked at her, he knew the hospital was too far away. He sighed, "Miss Ramirez erm... Your not going to be able to get care in a hospital, I've been trained in medical care. If it's okay with you I'll take care of it here so we don't have to go to a public medical place where there's more danger. You can watch me if your not afraid of blood." He said putting his hand near the wound carefully, seeing it was on her shoulder he could just rip the shirt in the wounded area and tend to it without her having to be embarassed or anything. He had emergency medical equiptment on him at all times.

He looked at her face seeing her body's reaction he didn't wait for her reply. "Sorry miss Ramirez." He ripped the shirt around her wound and took a small kit out. He took a small bottle out it was a medical drink which numbed the senses it wasn't liquor but it was it's equivalant. He put it to her lips forcing her to drink it he stopped when the bottle was half empty and took the rest putting a bit on the wound. He cleaned the tweasers and took the bullet out of her shoulder. He quickly put a cloth to stop the rush of bleeding. He then took a needle and thread.

He hoped she was 'drunk' or 'numbed' enough that she passed out or couldn't see the needle. He threaded it and immediately went to work. He hummed a soft lulling tune to make her drowsy or calm. He frantically and carefully did his needlework stitching her up. Occaisonally checking her breathing and how she was through the whole ordeal.

Frankie was indeed numbed, and she watched him with a straight face then entire time. When he was all finished, she sat up slowly, capturing one of his arms with her good arm. "You're very good.." she slurred, "With your hands."

She looked into his eyes, her own pupils very dialated. One thing her father had always said was that she was a cheap drunk. "Do you, use them for anything else?" she slurred again, leaning very close to him and peering into his face.

She hiccupped, then giggled, not releasing her hold on his arm. "Do.. You have a girlfriend?" she asked again, almost comically slurring her words. She had a goofy grin on her face, and she looked absolutely adorable with her messy hair, and obviously drunken state.

She scooted closer to him so that there was no space between them anywhere except for her face, which was inches from his, "Did you know... that you smell incredibly good?" she slurred again, giggling at her words like she was some incredible comedian.

He looked at her immediately knowing she was drunk. He had bandaged the wound well. She would be okay, he'd repair a few things when she finally slept. "Yes I use my hands to pull triggers of guns to kill people." He said, he wanted to make her not be embarassed when she was sober.

"No, but your going to be in tons of pain so here take this. He gave her a glass of water and two pills, one was a sleeping pill and the other a pain reliever." He seemed to have no attraction to her, of course a soilder always learns to keep all emotions inside so that they don't lose their control in such compromising moments. He watched her making sure she took it, he didn't want to have her do anything she'd regret.

"Maybe that's because I've been sitting in a cherry tree." He said not saying anything that might make her drunken side become more flirty. He hoped she'd go to sleep so he could clean up the room and put in more security. He'd stay with her to make sure her breathing stayed normal and the usual doctor like stuff.

Frankie giggled again, and moved away from him, already getting drowsy from the pill. "But.." she swayed, looking at her bed and then back at Armand, "There's blood all over it." she said as soberly as she could manage, though her words were slurred.

She sighed then, and scooted over to the side of her bed without blood on it, and fell asleep immediately. She slept until a little after noon, when the pain in her arm woke her up. She stirred. "Bloody... What happened after I got sho-..." she trailed off, and then looked up at Armand acusingly. "You gave me alcohol to numb me when you sewed me up, didn't you?" she asked in a monotone voice, since she knew the feeling in the back of her head all too well.

She shook her head and held up a hand. "Actually, don't answer that. I already know the answer." she said tiredly, and then she froze and looked up at him, biting back several not so good words that came to mind. "What...did I do?" she asked, dread filling her voice. She'd heard that she was an incredibly cheap drunk, and that she turned into a very huge flirt.

While the beauty slept, he cleaned the mess the assasins left. He fixed the door, window, and cleaned up the glass that was shattered. He finished this rather quickly, the room looked close to normal. He set up extra security measures and sat on a chair next to her bed watching her sleep. He felt drowsy, he had been pulling all nighters and not getting close to any sleep. He rested his head against her bed, he was so tired. His ribcage hurt, actually his whole body hurt. Having three guys beat/sit on you wasn't exactly comfortable for his body.

One could barely tell he was hurt, they could tell he was a bit tired though. But that didn't effect his fighting abilities. He sighed, looking at her. He never noticed before how beautiful she was when she slept. He had watched her sleep about two nights but never up close. She looked so pretty and peaceful.

He saw her awake, "Yes I gave you something to numb you, I figured since I had to use a needle you'd be a bit scared so I gave you something. I stitched you up and you went to sleep. I fixed a few things as you slept that's all that happened." He said bluntly getting up from his seat he didn't tell her the things she did. He wasn't going to say she hit on him, she was drunk he didn't need her to be angry or feel weird when he needed to protect her.

The first thought that came to her head was to ask why he was looking at her, but she bit that off, and shifted slightly, taking an involuntary gasp of pain as she accidentally moved her shoulder. She ignored it though. And she nodded to his response, even though she thought it was a little too flippant.

She knew what she wanted to say, and when she realized it, she looked very uncomfortable. She took her hair out of the pony tail she'd put it in the night before and shook her hand through it, sending fluffs of lavender over her shoulders. "Hey... um... Thanks... you know.. um..." she started slightly awkwardly, "I'm glad they assigned you." she finished, feeling a little more comfortable now that it was out with.

She noticed how tired his eyes were. "Maybe you should get some rest... You look really tired." she added, getting up off the bed. She started to walk towards him, but just a few steps away from him, all the color went from her face, and she fainted.

"Hey... um... Thanks... you know.. um... I'm glad they assigned you."

He nodded in understanding, he was about to go outside again. He guessed now that she was up she'd want some privacy. She seemed okay so he figured she'd be okay and he could watch her from a distance. He hadn't rested since he had started this case. He was quite tired, but he wasn't going to intrude if she didn't want him there. Though sleeping in the same room would be safer than on a tree branch where people could tie him up.

"Maybe you should get some rest... You look really tired."

Suddenly the girl went down, he rushed to her side catching her gently in his arms. He lifted her up into them checking her pulse. He listened making sure she was breathing. He glanced at her face, he couldn't help but notice how beautiful her flushed skin color brought out the beautiful color of her lips. He stopped his gaze and walked to the bed with her in his arms. He couldn't help but like having something so beautiful in his arms. He had lifted men in his arms all the time to save them from severe injuries from the battlefield but a girl he had never held so much as a hand let alone their whole body.

He brought her to the edge of the bed and everso gently set her down. Making sure her head layed gently against a pillow. He sat at the edge of her bed just gazing at her for a minute.

As soon as the blood reached her brain again, she woke up, and opened her eyes groggily. The first thing in her line of vision was Armand. She raised her eyes slightly, and found him looking at her. Or rather, not just looking, gazing. She scrambled into a sitting position, shaking her hair into her face to hide the blush the rose under his scrutiny.

"It looks like I've lost a lot of blood..." she started softly, her lack of strength giving a very feminine edge to her normally harsh Brooklyn accent. She added mentally that apparently she hadn't lost enough to not blush. She raised her startling blue eyes to make eye contact with his brown ones. "Maybe it would.." she paused, then forced herself to continue, for her own best interests, "be best for both of our situations if you stayed in here. I mean, you could probably do your job better, and I'd not have to worry about me killing myself in this stupidly weak state." she spoke rapidly to get the words out before she recalled them.

Then, she leaned back against her headboard, drawing her knees to her chest and watching him, a ponderous look on her face.

He nodded, "I'll stay here then." He got up and moved to a chair, sitting on it he rested his head against the back of the chair. He was so tired, he wanted to just sleep. He was used to sleeping wherever whenever so he didn't mind the uncomfortableness of it. He wasn't going to keep staring at her seeing it seemed a bit odd to do. He didn't realize that he was looking at her differently than just looking at her.

He sighed, he didn't know if he'd be able to sleep and be aware seeing he hadn't slept in so long. He forced himself to remain awake, and sighed standing back up he began to pace. He wondered when the next attack would be. Suddenly his knee buckled, he fell towards the ground. He hadn't realized that the beating and kicking the guy off caused so much muscle damage. He'd be able to fight just not kick or pace. He hit the ground, he didn't so much as wince.
