She was sick of this stupid place. It was full of lovesick wimps and freaks. Her heavy combat boots crunched through the dirt beneath her feet, as her blue eyes scanned the rock face for a good place to climb.

Her lavender hair hung loosely down her back, uncovered, and unhindered. It swished softly against the back of her black t-shirt as she walked.

Her guns were hidden by invisibility, and thus didn't make any visible shows in her heavy cargo pants. She was annoyed, and in desperate need of somebody who understood her. But a Brooklyn girl didn't really have that kind of support in a hick town island.

A boy in camo followed her, he was silent. Hiding behind trees, rocks, bushes, using all kinds of devices to hide himself. He was getting closer each time, his eyes were locked on the target. Always ready for a attack, he got closer and closer to her each time. He then swooped down and in one move got a hold around her waist retraining her arms. His breath on her neck, he sighed. "I thought this was supposed to be more challenging capturing the mob's daughter. Oh well... You'll be coming along with me." He said in a formal tone his grip around her waist was still as tight. He didn't find it embarassing or even romantic. He was retaining control over the situation by his holding her. The fact she was a woman was nothing.

He never had a girlfriend, he never felt the urge to kiss or hold anyone before. He was a miltary boy, nothing would change his devotion and love of the miltary. For some reason the miltary thought he was too devoted and would die too young because of his love of it. Two of his guns were visable, there was a third one hidden on his person. Had he been a emotional boy he'd probably have flirted with Frankie because of her being a girl. But his emotions were born and raised miltary style, anything unmiltary was not to be loved as much or more than saving a country from people who could harm innocent. If he had ever seen a girl in a bathing suit on the beach he would've offered her clothes such as baggy miltary pants and a baggy miltary shirt. He never had a wrong thought enter his mind. He was a true prize of the miltary.

Frankie growled. She'd spent too much time in this position to believe it to be in any way romantic. It was annoying. Very, very annoying. And she, was not so formal. She let out a string of rather loud curse words, and squirmed against him. "Yeah, well unlike Military freaks, I don't give up when captured." she told him cooly, still squirming against his strong arms. Her brooklyn accent made her words nearly unintelligible with her anger.

And then she smirked. And flipped her strong, invisible wings against him. At the same time, she kicked hard at his knees, and squirming as hard as she could.

He tried hard to keep a grip on her, "You won't be hurt if you give up now. You'll be asked to simply help convince your father to stop causing so much trouble..." He was about to explain more, but a hard kick landed against his knees. His hold slipped, but he managed to regain a hold on her lower waist. But her wings were free, he held on with all his strength. "Your not understanding Miss Ramirez..." He said in a gruff voice. Because his hold on her was slipping.

He didn't want to involve guns, first he'd try the simple way. And then he'd have to use the other way. But the objective was to have her in his custody for use of the government. But if she didn't cooperate he'd have to get rough. He fought to keep his hold on her... He knew it was a unsafe thing to do when someone had wings and could try to hit him against a tree to make him let go.

Frankie squirmed some more. she was really just biding her time. Her wings were still invisible, and so he didn't know about the claws on the tip of her wings. "Yeah, well I wouldn't change anything. He'd probably just get me whacked." she retorted in her heavy Brooklyn accent. She squirmed some more.

When he said she didn't understand, she took the opportunity. She flipped her wings open, and brought one down on each of his shoulders. She used the sudden jolt of pain to squirm free from him, and spun to face him, aiming a hard kick at his gut and knocking him against a tree, gun aimed at him. "So why don't you explain it to me. Who knows, maybe you'll convince me to obey your stupid leaders." Her legs were spread, her stance steady. She didn't want to shoot him, but she would if she had to. It was as much for her preservation from her father as anything.

"Yeah, well I wouldn't change anything. He'd probably just get me whacked."

"I've been assigned to protect you if it didn't work. You wouldn't get killed easily, if I had wanted to kill you I could've easily shot you in the back. But I'm not a coward nor do I wish to kill you if it's avoidable." He said holding onto her.

"So why don't you explain it to me. Who knows, maybe you'll convince me to obey your stupid leaders."

He felt the claws dig in, his grip was lost and he was sent hurdling at a tree. He hit a sharp part of the tree, it dig into his back. He showed no pain, his hand had grabbed his gun as he was in the air. He held his gun aiming back at her, "If you shoot, I have aproxiamately 30 seconds before death. Therefore allowing me to easily kill you, but I don't have to worry seeing I'm wearing a bullet proof vest. By the time you moved your aim and shot me you'd be dead." He said with a satisfied smirk.

"So Miss Ramirez, why don't you just listen I'm going to explain anyhow." He was a bit sure of himself, but that was beyond the point. "Your Honest-Abe's daughter, he's been causing mischief, rumor has it he's involved with a ring of drug dealers and him being in a big city and all we can't exactly inhilliate him with a army. So the Colonel thought by using you as bait we could weaken his forces or have him surrender to the point we could find the truth or force him to retire his deeds as peacefully as possible." His eyes were emotionless, cold, that of a man and not a boy.

"So Miss Ramirez, will you cooperate or will I have to take you forcefully." His words didn't sound much like a question, if she didn't come with him he'd take her forcefully anyhow.

Frankie shook her head. "Look, don't be an idiot. My father has allies in all corners of the world. He also has more money than you think. One man, as cocky as you are, isn't going to protect men, and he will kill me. Blood isn't enough to save me from that." she snapped, more out of fear of what her father would do than of what happened.

She shrugged. "'Sides. If you were to kill me, at least it'd be fast. I've witnessed hits. They're not fast." she narrowed her eyes at him, steady hold on her gun never failing.

A smirk played onto her face. "The way I see it, I have more chance of success against one person than my father's army." and then she completely disappeared.

Once she was invisible, she dropped to the ground, wings holding her body inches from the ground. She made no sound, stealth was nessicary. She backpaddled with her wings, moving her backwards and away from the man who probably didn't know how much of a death card he was holding.

"I promise I'd never let anyone kill you Miss Ramirez, it is my duty as a Miltary Dog to do every duty to the fulliest. My life would protect your's Miss Ramirez, you'll have the miltary's protection." He said to her to try and ease her mind into saying okay.

"'Sides. If you were to kill me, at least it'd be fast. I've witnessed hits. They're not fast."

"I told you, Miss Ramirez my life would protect you. I'd be with you everyday your own personal body guard. They'd have to kill me before they could ever get to you ma'am. And I've been in the miltary since I was 8 I know more about weapons, and stuff then anyone else in the miltary other than the man who created it." He said this not braggingly, he just did, and everyone in the Miltary except those in high command knew and accepted it. He was at the rank of Lt. But of course seeing they advised him to quit the miltary so he'd have a chance to form another life away feom the miltary. He'd have to take orders.

"The way I see it, I have more chance of success against one person than my father's army."

She turned invisable, the boy had seen stuff like this before. He opened a book reading a few pages he closed it. He removed a small thing from his pocket, his gun still aimed. He then threw it and a burst of smoke came out. Even if she had taken the book or his gun he had another one and he found what he needed. It was a fiction book he had, one by a famous myth writer. It described weaknesses of super heros, of course it wasn't something he'd normally read. But a Corporal gave him it for his 'happy freedom of miltary' day. Though it had only made him realize why the Corporal was still a Corporal. But he decided that seeing his knowledge in comic books, he might be a good special service guy seeing he'd know these 'special' people's weaknesses.

The smoke would settle around her and show her hiding spot. He waited gun now back in his holder, he'd take her forcefully in the smoke and keep her from getting injured in the fight.

Frankie breathed out slowly from her perch in the tree. "If I run, you're just going to keep hunting me, aren't you?" she questioned, defeat already evident in her voice. She dropped from the tree, turning visible as the smoke curled around her. She held her hands up, hands splayed to show that she was no longer armed.

Her hands were shaking, and her lower lip was curled beneath her teeth as she nibbled on it nervously. She wasn't afraid of him. She was afraid of her father. She kicked her gun across the ground at him. "You win. After all. I'm only a pawn. Collateral damage, either way." her voice was husky, and she was trying not to cry. Her eyes shimmered with the tears she was forcing not to fall.

She stood where she was, hands still raised, fingers still splayed, and lowered her head, trying to ignore her shuddering shoulders. She could only immagine who Benito Ramirez would send after her to silence her.

"If I run, you're just going to keep hunting me, aren't you?"

"Probably, I have nothing better to do." He said with a shrug, he wasn't nervous at all. Though he didn't think she'd give in easily, but he guessed there was a first time for everything.

"You win. After all. I'm only a pawn. Collateral damage, either way."

He smiled, "That's more like it, now there's two ways you can come. You can come peacefully or I'll cuff you and you can kick and flail all you want." He said with a sigh, he knew the way prisioners were. He doubted the girl truly wanted to come peacefully. But he moved beside her trustingly, he knew if she were to attack him it'd be stupid seeing he was used to hunting down or anything that needed to be done.

"Now, let's go." He said firmly, and sturnly, no pity for the emotional girl who was about to cry.
