August Lupus was hopelessly lost. She'd decided to wander into the forest to see what the wilderness was like on the island, and was now regretting it. With no sense of direction and not much light, there was no chance of surviving alone. August had to get help.

"Hello?" August called out. "Is anyone there? I need help!"

The only thing that she could do now was hope. And hope, August did.

The animals in the forbidden forest was unforgiving and would often feed upon the unsuspecting prey that walked into their den. One creature could be heard, ever so slightly, from behind behind the prey, behind the humanoid. It ran closer and closer until it was just two trees away. Wondering why did the seemingly human enter the forest, did they wish to be eaten or was they unaware, perhaps it was one of those cocky beings who would seek a challenge and bite of more then they could shew.

It stayed somewhat hidden behind shadows and bushes, though one could roughly see the outline of a canine with huge paws and muscles, something strange about it, one could see the form of spikes protruding from the back.

This creature, at first decided to ignore the two legged one and took of, running ahead, deciding that the two legged knew what they where doing. But, the creature had been hasty, something it would come to a realization when it heard the other scream for help. It ran as fast as he could to return and once there it circled the two legged. He didn't seem hurt and no predator was there yet, which was the perfect time for him to transform himself back to human form.. with spiraling horns at the size of headset.

August was terrified. Not only was she lost in the forest, she started to hear noises, too. She wasn't sure what they were, only that they were moving farther... then they moved close. REALLY close.

Shivering with fear, August thought about her choices. A: She could stay where she was, but that was almost suicide, she'd definitely be eaten. B: She could run. That would draw attention, and she didn't think she could outrun predators. She went with plan C: To inspect the noise. Who knows, maybe it could help her!

August turned toward the noise and took two steps before freezing up. She called out quietly but loud enough for someone to hear her, "H-hello? Is anyone there? Can you help me?!"

Now she waited, terrified, for a response. Either death or help awaited August now.

Noah, in his human form with horns spiraling around his ears attempted to follow human rules and attempted to greet the other one. Who once more screamed.. Halfway of reaching out his arm to do the greeting thing, he had to stop and plug his ears instead, this is what he got for having excellent hearing.

"I hear you I hear you. Do you want every predator in the vicinity to stop in their tracks and run this way?" Looking at the other person, waiting for an answer. He was learning to work like everyone else and there where still many things which he didn't understood and had asked out of curiosity.

Why Noah was there was another thing entirely, he preferred the predators of the forest because he knew what they where thinking and that should they attack it would be out of hunger, not because he offended someone by not acting quite like a Human. No one would blame him if he defended himself in the forest but hell would be raised if he defended himself against a two legged, a Human.

Curiosity finally took over and he had to know, though he thought to attempt greeting the other once more "Name is Noah, why are you here?" maybe he could help should he know the answer, no hostility intended, it wasn't like this was his territory.

Thank God, he wants to help me, August sighed with relief. Apparently this person had sensitive ears so she decided to whisper as to not hurt them. "Um, I g-got lost in here.. I didn't know it was so easy to get lost and so dangerous.. I'm August Lupus. C-Can you lead me out of here?"

Only now did tears fill August's eyes. The adrenaline had pushed them away earlier, but these, these were tears of relief. August wasn't safe yet, but she'd found somebody, somebody that could help her.

August stood there, knees weak, shaking, waiting for a response. Please, PLEASE help me, she thought to herself.

Cedar had been walking along the edge of the forest, which, while forbidden, was beyond beautiful. She looked to the school, whose turrets were still clearly visible, so she believed it was safe to venture a bit deeper.

As soon as she turned away from the academy, Cedar picked up the sound of a child yelling. Her ear pieces whirred until the voice came into focus, like a camera zooming in and out. She could tell the child was far away, and she only hoped she could find her in time.

She ran at her highest gear until she came to a clearing. On one side, there was the girl, who was now crying; on the other side, a young man who was obviously at home in these woods.

Cedar dashed to shield the girl, standing in front of her with arms outstretched. "Is he bothering you?" she asked her calmly.

"Thank you for your consideration, you can talk normally, just please don't scream" Did he do that correct Noah wondered, though he had heard that he was getting better at acting like a Human.

Noah was really a nice kid who had been thought that bad people go to jail and good people don't, he was thought more control then fancy words or laws but he knew he didn't want to be mistaken for a bad guy and rot in a big cage.

"Humans" he muttered to himself when another Human came to the rescue of the first, if he was gonna eat them then he would of stayed in his Hound form. Besides, killing sentient beings was most likely a bad thing, so he did the only thing he could, given the current situation. He lifted his hands in an attempt to show that he was not dangerous "Ok, ok. I did not mean to scare you"

August had flinched a bit when the second person came to help. She was glad but.. Another one? Another chance for help.. and this one really seems like they want to help me. These were August's thoughts as some of the fear washed away. "Um, okay, so.. no, he's not bothering me, Ms. Robot lady. He was just trying to help, but thanks, So, um, I'm August, and I need help to get out of here.. can you two help? I don't know my way around or anything.

((OOC: Either one of you guys can post whenever, but if you want to work out an order we can. @Zadie @Shadowborn ))

((OOC: I hope you don't mind that I crashed your thread, guys. I'm cool with just posting when appropriate, but if you think an order would be better, that's fine too.))

Cedar paused after both half-human half-canines spoke. Suddenly, she understood what was happening. Though her initial assumption was that the boy caused the problem, it was instantly clear he was trying to help the young girl.

Her smile was sheepish and her fan came on with a whirring, cooling down her inner machinery that was hot from the running. She stepped to the side. "Sorry about that... I, uh, misunderstood."

Another pause, filled with the tension of embarrassment. "And also, I don't know the way out either." Cedar looked to the boy, with her hands interlaced, "Please will you show me out too?"

(OOC: Sorry for late reply, I though I only had one alert when checking to reply to someone else)

Good thing they believed him, no wonder how long they would have to stay if they didn't. If they had turned hostile on him he could just have run off into the thick of the forest though nice as he is would have to protect them to the best of his abilities. Thankfully this wasn't needed.

This would be the last time he would try to play Human, reaching out his arm to whoever happened to be closest to him "Name is Noah". The forest was indeed disorienting and he was lost himself, but this wasn't new to him as he could always use the sound of the busy city or smell of smog to determine the straight path back.

"The fastest way out is in this direction" pointing left of August. His nose twitched "Though other predators are in our way, I could lead you around them."
