((Oh. My. God. I am SO sorry for the wait. well, here's my post~))

It was true, August smelled the scent of dangerous things in the direction Noah gestured to. They would quite obviously have to go around, but that in itself didn't particularly give any form of guarantee for safety. It was still the group's best shot by a mile, though.

"T-thank you so much", August began. That wasn't nearly enough thanks, but she'd worry about that once she was sure she wouldn't be eaten.

"So, uh, feel free to lead the way, and, um, don't let us die", August finished.

((By the way, depending on how long you want to stay in this thread, the group can either make it out without a hitch, or you can incur disaster, whatever you guys want. We should probably agree, however. @Zadie @Shadowborn ))

"Right, though we need to take a detour if we want to get out safe" Noah had enhanced senses and could smell the animals and other dangerous creatures that made the forest forbidden and he could fight his way out but considering he had company he had to find the safest route out.

Noah was not quite used to the concept of communicating with words, having spent so many years as a wild dog he knew how to communicate with body language, but hopefully he managed to calm down August.

It was when the forest seemed alive, guiding its natural inhabitants to block of most of the exits and in turn confusing Noah's sense of smell. He needed to stop to think, but stopping meant that the natural inhabitant would get a chance to close in on them.

No matter how hard he thought, he could not find a way out, well, actually he could ditch them but he had promised to do what he could to guide them out safely so that was a no go. By now they where getting surrounded, however at the last moment there was a cave in.

No doubt he was caught by surprise and let out sounds which for the first time sounded like a mix of surprise and scared. With no grip beneath his feet he just tumbled down, fortunately it was mostly earth but there where stones as well, though most of the rocks came from the roofings of a.. tunnel system? Noahs eyes went blurry and past out with the hopes that the others had fared better.
