I am currently searching for a character with healing powers to work for The Cross Fox, an exotic dance club.

Yoka Sake, the owner, likes to have someone with magical powers on hand to deal with a variety of injuries that come from pole dancing and stripping in an environment with magical fireballs and explosions. No previous experience is required.

While Yoka would prefer someone 18+, a character ages 16-17 might also be approved.

Basically, Yoka will be calling your character at all hours of the day and night to swing by and heal injuries. She'll offer great pay and benefits, though!

Devias Might be an interesting addition to this. Given his personality, he won't be distracted by the dancers even if they were all up in his face. He'll be easily reached, so long as he is not doing anything important enough like being in the middle of class, and he can just open a portal to get there. Although, his healing powers might put some people off since he's literally using his blood to heal people. Just... smear it on the injury and focus a little, and bam, healed.

And he can make ice for bruises if someone insists he shouldn't be the one to heal them.

He wouldn't really care that this place is shifty, due to being in the underground.

I thought I responded that day, but apparently I did not. So I am going to summarize what I think we talked about in the c-box, and you can correct me here if I am wrong.

  • Because he is underage, Yoka would only ever have him arrive in the staff sections or in the restaurant across from the club.
    • She would also do her best to avoid contacting him during school hours, instead having him "on call" during set non-school hours.



    • The only way she'd never contact him during school hours if there was a huge emergency...in which case I as the player would probably be PM'ing you to see if you'd be interested in the plot, so you're probably safe.



    • Yoka will most definitely send him a strippergram the moment he turns 18. Sorry, Devias.

  • The Cross Fox is a legitimate business, although sketchy things do occasionally go down and sketchy people do visit due to the club's location.


Things we did not talk about that I should ask:
  • Would you like to do a "hiring" thread, or just assume that Devias is already working for Yoka, having heard about it as either an internship opportunity or having someone hand him a flyer for the club?

I agree to these conditions xD

As for the hiring thread, we can do that. He could either hear it from word of mouth, or maybe he finds a flyer or gets handed one and decides to give it a try.

Is hiring still up? I'm looking for a thread to jump in as part of my return (hopefully, this time it'll stick at least a little bit) and my only active character right now is this spicy little healer right here. She needs some extra money for upgrades and for travel to a bunch of competitive events.

YESSSSSSS i am so excited that you're back! She'd definitely fit in for the role. Yoka needs multiple healing folk, so it'd work out. Same question for you: do you want a hiring thread or just assume she's been working for yoka?

@ReD how the hell does tagging work nowadays

I'd be fine with skipping straight to employment - there's rarely anything happening in hiring threads. Also, it's not like this character would want to make anything notable happen in hiring

I also need to leave a note in this thread for myself for future reference that Silver's Dreyma is also going to be working for Yoka.
