He had come to the arena out of curiosity, curious about the arena and whole legality of the thing, somehow he ended up signing up for a sparring match of sorts with the arena's owner and one other person. So here he was, a blunted sword in each hand with his opponents in front of him. May seem odd a guy with energy powers using normal weapons but Aedan didn't like using his powers in combat, though his strength had been increasing greatly. He took a ready yet calm stance, the match was about to begin.

Kris himself was glad to find a place like this! While he had arrived in casual clothes, he stepped out into the arena in armor. Poor thing looked like he was struggling with moving due to the weight of it.

"I look hella cool right now.. Wonder if I can keep the armor after this.." he muttered to himself as he open and closed one of his fists.

Right behind him, however, was his companion. Quasar. Considered part of him, it is technically his power - and how he fights. He glanced back at her for a moment before letting the hulking she-beast of the mint-green and pale white woman step around him to get in front of him. She raised her arms up slightly, taking a boxer's stance it seemed!

"I'm ready. Whenever, really. We'll.. Yeah. So.." Kris started speaking before just waving his words off a little bit and finishing up his sentence with a double thumbs up. "Ready."

Maria watched as her opponents equipped themselves, taking special note of everything they chose. They'd each headed to the armory, during which time Maria prepared her own weaponry. She herself wore very little in the way of armor. Provocative studded leather was about the most she cared to don. On her lap, cradled like an infant, was her blade, a huge greatsword that was nearly twice her height. In her hands, she caressed one of her pistols, pulling back the slide and inspecting her weapon. It was sufficient.

Unfortunately, the proceeding fight was not to the death. No, that was another day's fight. With that in mind, she slid the magazine of rubber bullets into her weapon, loading it before chambering a round. It was around that time that her two opponents, who were there to test the arena more than anything, arrived.

Maria spoke softly, and her arena obeyed, and the very floor began to change, bending to her whims.
"Show me something tall... Ooh, and breakable." She had said. The ground changed, and in the blink of an eye, the arena had taken its form.

It was a large wooden construct, surrounded by foliage. The concrete floor that the two had been standing on would remain untouched, but stairs would appear in front of the two, leading them to the wooden platform that housed the place where the three would fight. Large wooden beams sprouted from the platform, supported by metal spikes, and connected by more wooden beams. Ropes and nets were strung along all throughout, making the ropes easily traversal. In the center, an open area stood, where a straight fight could be conducted, should they prefer.

Maria leaped from her throne, landing on the wood and placing the main force of the landing on her blade, which rang with a high pitched metallic sound. Glancing up, she smiled. "Tell you what... If you manage to strike a blow on me, you may keep your armor." She offered, grinning deviously.

He stayed calm, focused, something you wouldn't expected from a person his age, he had always been a calm person but the black ops training he'd gone through had caused him develop a discipline, he takes combat serious even when it was a nonlethal bout.

He was facing two opponents, one that looked like they could have been around his age and another that was far more experienced and also happened to be a demigod, he moved slowly to the left, his arms relaxed, ready for his instincts to kick in if need be. Maria wielded a great sword, a dangerous weapon no matter the nature of the fight.

He stopped and then burst into speed, he was fast, he constantly trained and made sure that has as close to a perfect balance of strength, speed and agility as humanly possible, though with his increasing strength some of the training was becoming unnecessary.

He was heading toward Maria, it appeared as he was going to attack to attack her left side, it was a faint, as he reached her to the right slashing with his left sword while keeping his right ready to defend.

Kris frowned. Stairs. Mortal enemy of this would-be armored knight. But he could do this. HE WAS GONNA FIGHT! Just had to get.. The one leg up. Then the othe- Oh wait. Quasar, his spirit, simply picked him up and carried him over towards the arena, plopping him down on the wooden platform.

He was about to speak when he heard the offer. If he could land a blow.. The armor was his!? Radical! He was grinning like a dork. Almost lost in thought enough that he hadn't even noticed the match was starting. Luckily for him, they weren't going after him! Yet. Though he'd have to do something about this armor. He unstrapped the breastplate, the tasset, and the metal leg pieces he never bothered to learn the name of that covered his thighs.

He sighed out a little bit, crouching down and stretching. Yep! He could move a lot better now.

"Time to land that hit!" he shouted, Quasar appeared behind him as she went to kick off the ground, grabbing Kris as they propelled towards Maria as well! However Kris soon broke off, skidding to a stop before he reached her while Quasar continued towards them! Once close enough she'd try throw two punches. One towards Maria, the other towards Aedan!

Aedan would be the first to reach Maria. dashing at her quickly, the man would begin what appeared to be a faint at her left side. While she was sure that this attack would either land anyways if she did not block, or simply be followed by a swipe to her right, Maria didn't intend to let somebody else lead this dance. Her blade, which was quite a bit larger and thus offered far more reach then those of her opponent, would rise quickly, swiping up and to her left, preventing both of the man's strikes and threatening to disarm him, should he lose his grip. The blade would continue to her left, rising above her head and rotating all the way around, her as she made another follow-up swipe at her opponent, retaining all of her momentum from the previous attack. She would angle her blade in such a way that she could block the strike from her second, or rather, third opponent, who was rapidly approaching.

Though her blade was huge, Maria wielded it effortlessly in one hand, which left her remaining hand free to draw one of her pistols as she was doing this, firing blindly at Kris, between the legs of his rather large guardian. Three rubber bullets would be aimed roughly at Kris's chest, and while they wouldn't injure him, they would sting like hell, and likely knock him back. Maria's goal was to force both of her opponents on the defensive, in this case, attempting to make Quasar guard her source, rather than attack. Should the spirit attack anyways, Maria would block the punch with the flat of her blade, though the impact would cause her to slide back a few meters.

Maria's blade slashed into his own, he was pushed back by the force, but he felt his muscles hold, he slid to a stop as Maria raised her sword to strike again. Aedan raised both his blades, crossing them, he felt the weight of the blow land on the swords, but he held his ground. In truth he didn't yet trust his new strength to fully use it, but if he wanted to stand a chance he'll need it.

He slashed her blade to the right, now using some of his strength he slashed out with his left sword while keeping his right one ready for defense. He didn't know if he could beat her, but he wasn't going to give her even a inch if he could help it.

Quasar, the spirit. She punched like a tank. However the one bad thing is that she too much faster than an person. Her eyes glanced down as the bullets were heading under her. Kris saw them, distorted through her eyes. He grimaced, but he at least knew the fight wasn't lethal at all. So those probably wouldn't kill him!

Deciding to keep up with the attack, the spirit's fist hit the sword with a loud clang before moving to grip the sword's blade as the bullets impacted with Kris's chest! He coughed out as he fell back onto the ground. Alright. That was a grave miscalculation. That hurt. A LOT. Oh man. A hand came up gripping at the shirt he was wearing, "GAH! Fuhh-.." he went into a coughing fit as he closed his eyes.

It hurt but he had to focus. Quasar's form wavered, flickering for a moment as Kris slowly stood back up. The free hand of Quasar slowly curled each finger into a fist before aiming to throw a fist up to deliver an uppercut towards the arena's host!
