Flying Saucer Express
Welcome to Flying Saucer Express! It's everything you could ever want wrapped up in an alien themed, fast food restaurant package. We have a fun dining area with bouncy, out of this world music playing, an arcade area, coin operated spaceship kiddie rides, drive-thru, and delivery.
The decorations inside are all shameless, cheesy sci-fi novelties, with a classic 90s glow in the dark space carpet, planets and rockets hanging from the ceiling, and psychedelic alien art on the walls. Everything is colorful, eye catching, and eye straining. The waiters all wear alien or spacesuit themed uniforms. Deliveries are done with adorable scooters that have alien stickers and stars painted on.
While all the food is space themed, most of it is fairly inoffensive, no threatening looking raw bugs on the menu. It's what you'd expect from a normal fast food place, with a kick. The food is easy to eat, but the flavors are on the intense side. The sandwiches are shaped like UFOs. Try the slushies (Rocket Fuel or Galaxy)— they'll give you the wildest sugar rush imaginable. They have a lot of very cute treats.
Flying Saucer Express started up around a decade ago, after an alien crashed here, couldn't return to her planet, and needed a way to survive in this strange foreign place. So, she sold her space gimmick and embraced it as an advantage. The owner and founder is still around, and has long since had the option of leaving, but learned to enjoy Manta Carlos (along with being significantly attached to her wealth).
This is a fast food restaurant chain, which means it's all over Manta Carlos, and can now be found in the Space Station! It's open 24/7, so sneaking in at four in the morning for junk and snacks is constantly accessible. If you make a thread featuring this location, please tag it with 'Flying Saucer Express'.
