The wasabi was already in the sushi and Mizuko was happy how perfect the amount was. She was enjoying the food and the delight brightened up her face once more. At the moment, she didn't really have any other use of her mouth aside from eating, so she only stopped when Wesker spoke to her again. She hummed curiously and tilted her head, before putting her chopsticks down for now.

"I was having a little headache this noontime so I wasn't having that much fun," she shrugged, before flashing a slightly more cheery smile at Wesker. "I had fun with you though! And I'm still having fun now. Do you want to go stargazing later, Senpai? Oh, and--" Her smile became gentler, and she traced the shape of her lips with her index finger. "--this much smile makes you look your best."

Wesker continued to eat slowly as they conversed, though he never spoke while food was in his mouth. "I'm sorry to hear that. Was the sun bothering you? It gets quite bright out here on the ocean."

He let his face mold at her suggestion, his smile matching her description and his eyes conveying a soft interest instead of the usual casual pleasantry. "Very well, I shall conform to your preference for now. I'm glad you had a good time. If you would like to stargaze then I would be obligated to join you, nor would I mind."

"You said the stars would be beautiful tonight, so I just thought stargazing would be a wonderful idea," Mizuko munched on what's left of her previous sushi and took her time to chew and swallow it. And then she'd take small sips from her drink just to ease her tongue from the wasabi's burning. She was going to get another one, but she halted and attempted to feel if her head really was okay now. It was. "I don't know if it's the sun back then. It sure was hot but my headache was more because of... um..." Unconsciously, she tilted her head again, her eyes trailing away in thought. "...wave disturbance? We are heading for Bermuda Triangle after all. I expected that there would be disturbances like that on the way and maybe worse once we get there. I sense those disturbances."

She casually dropped the topic by resuming with her food. After one more piece of sushi, she began with her pasta, carefully twirling a bit around her fork and taking one mussel with it.

Wesker nodded a little, beginning the cracking of the lobster shell in front of him. "Yes, I understood your train of thought, Mizuko. It should be quite pleasant..." He paused for a moment to distribute the lobster meat of his rice. "...Provided there aren't too many others with the same idea."

He left that up to Mizuko's interpretation as he picked up the bowl of blood pudding and sipped at the residue beginning to pool in the bottom. "I see, so it's a mechanical issue then." Wesker did know that Mizuko had an augmented nervous system if nothing else. "Is there maintenance that can be done on that sort of thing?"

Mizuko swallowed and blinked. "Maintenance?" Her face was momentarily twisted to a thoughtful look. She had always been with her mother and never had to worry about her mechanical nervous system, and honestly, this was the first time it really sank in that she wasn't normal. "No, I don't think it needs any maintenance. But maybe I'll give my mother a call when we get back, just to make sure. Painkillers work so I never really thought much about it."

Her face remained obviously puzzled, even as she resumed eating.

Wesker observed Misuko's puzzlement as he began working on the lobster meat. "Best not to dwell on it too much, though I would have thought you would have more of an understanding of your functionality." It wasn't a disappointed or superior comment, more of just an idle interest.

He let a couple of moments pass be in silence as he worked his way through his food. About halfway through his main dish he moved to the blood pudding again, his lips being stained red for a moment with each bite before his tongue licked away the residue. "Tell me about yourself Mizuko."

Mizuko shrugged. "Myself?" she repeated, tilting her head before yet another round of thinking. "What's there to tell..? I like anime and manga, I have a mechanical nervous system, I'm not good at Biology, I can read minds tho—"

...

"EH??"

She jumped up from her seat, quite literally so, covering her mouth shut with both hands as if that was going to let her take back what she just said before it could reach Wesker. Sadly, that wasn't possible, and Mizuko, not wanting for her upperclassman to know that, had no idea how to keep her cool after spilling her little secret.

Wesker listened as intently as always while she rattled of details about herself. Her slip of the tongue prompted a flash from his eyes, a shimmer of light over his glasses for the slightest of moments while his smile turned into that menacing expression of his.

But once more, he quickly pressed his mask back over his features. The rush still coursed through him though, that invigorating feeling of a predator snaring their prey. He allowed the information to linger among his thoughts while outwardly acting like it had never been said.

He reached out a hand to steady Mizuko's glass before it toppled over completely for the vibrations of her sudden rise from the table. Several people were staring at them now with Mizuko looking so shocked. Wesker ignored them just as well. "Oh? Finished already Mizuko? You didn't even get to the part about your blood type or measurements."

Mizuko was somewhat frozen in place for a few seconds, but then realized that other people have started to stare, and so she quickly pulled her seat and abruptly sat back down, though her body felt tensed and her hands settled on her lap. She couldn't look at Wesker in the eye, her gaze remained on the table.

"It's embarrassing..." she muttered in Japanese. Her mind was too shocked to make out any concrete English sentence at the moment. "Also... That's not something people usually ask, Senpai. I mean... measurements and blood type. You should at least tell me something about yourself first..." she kept her voice soft and her words muttered, and it only got even softer, "...this is so uncomfortable for me can I leave now....?"

Wesker's eyes never left Mizuko during the whole ordeal. He was constantly observing her, her actions, mannerisms, body language, everything. His expression, of course, remained unchanging.

"Oh? Are they not? I was of the understanding they were somewhat common questions in Japan. A victimization of the media I suppose." He waved a hand towards the door they had come in through. "You don't need my permission, Mizuko. If you wish to leave, you are welcome. Don't let me keep you."
