"Here we are! Mi casa es su casa," Adam announced as he opened the door to his and Tyler's new shared dorm room with a flourish of his hands. He stepped into the middle of the space and gestured around the room. "What do you think? Don't answer that. Not until I'm done with the tour."

He looked at Tyler, a grin split his face. Before the uncontrollable fit of giggles exploded, he motioned towards Tyler's right where some of Adam's things and posters have found there way on the floor, bed and walls. "That's your space. Sorry about my stuff. I'll clear that up real soon," he said apologetically. He then went to the door that led to their bathroom. "Here's the urination station. Cool thing about this place is that there are two shelves, which means we don't have to worry about my stuff mixing with yours."

Said stuff being the multitude of towels and towelettes with superheroes printed on them, all folded and stacked neatly in the top rack of one shelf. Among the usual items, like shampoo, soap, toothbrush, razor blades, etc., were two stacks of comic books on the bottom rack. They were still in their plastic covers, though it was obvious that they've been read a lot of times. The other shelf was completely empty of anything save for a roll of toilet paper. "Oh. That one has been there since I moved in. I haven't touched it since I got here though," he said conspiratorially. "Aaaand that's about the end of the tour. What do you think?"

"Aaaand that's about the end of the tour. What do you think?"

Tyler remained silent and walked around the room, inspecting it. His bed was just the right size for him and was currently bare save for a few scattered items. There were two nightstands, one next to each bed, and there were two windows right above the headboards.

He glanced at Adam's space. If he wasn't a fan of comics, he probably would've called his friend a geek but unfortunately, he was so doing so would make him a hypocrite. 'Besides,' he thought to himself as he took a step forward to browse the posters, 'those are some cool posters.'

He stepped into the bathroom and raised an eyebrow when he saw a couple stacks of comic books on Adam's shelf. "Are those for when you take a dump?" he joked. Tyler turned around and looked at Adam's eyes (or the closest he could look into Adam's eyes since he was still kinda avoiding eye contact) and grinned. "This place is just perfect," he said, happiness evident in his tone.

Adam watched and waited for Tyler's opinion of the place. It certainly was like any dorm room, but they could make it better. Adam was actually planning on adding a few other things in here.

He grinned at the Tyler and nodded, his eyebrows also wiggling up and down. "Uh-huh," he confirmed quite proudly. His smile grew again when Tyler gave his approval. "That's great!"

Adam went back to the room and took a seat on his bed. "I was actually thinking of adding in a mini fridge on that corner for, ya know, drinks and food and maybe left overs. And I'm going to install a shelf in the weekend. Maybe over here or probably here," he said, pointing to the wall over his bed and then to the space further from his bed where nothing crowded the floor. "It's Flash inspired. The three tiers are going to be arranged so they resemble Flash's lightning."

He then turned to look at Tyler again. "So, wanna play Injustice while we wait for afternoon or did you have anything else to do today?" he asked, motioning to his PC.

Tyler nodded as Adam told him his plans for the room. He grinned when his friend mentioned a mini-fridge. His grin grew wider when he said that he planned to install a Flash-themed shelf. "Not Green Lantern?" he asked jokingly, knowing quite well that he was Adam's favorite and not Flash.

"So, wanna play Injustice while we wait for afternoon or did you have anything else to do today?"

"Well, I've got nothing to do," he replied and then pulled a chair closer to the desk. "Let's play," he said and waited for Adam to sit down. "Do you have controllers or do you use the keyboard?"

"Why not Flash? They're a team. And I'm not that kind of fan that everything I've got will be of GL, if possible. I love the other heroes too," Adam said with a shrug. He went immediately to turning on his PC. "And Flash's lightning was more practical as a shelf rather than a Lantern."

He then went to retrieve a couple of things from a drawer built into his computer desk. "Controllers," Adam said, grinning at Tyler. This time, it was with true delight and not only because of the effects of Tyler's powers on him. He pulled a bean bag and a fancy black-leather swivel chair in front of the Dell widescreen monitor just as his computer was starting up.

"Take a seat," he offered Tyler, letting him choose which he'd prefer while Adam busied himself with fixing the connection for the wireless controllers. After a while, he sat back on the empty chair and handed Tyler his controller while the game showed its opening credits. "Have you played this before?"
