She had signed up for the secret santa event mostly to get things. She hadn't quite expected to be told to actually go out and get something in return. Mildly upset with this development, Letty had stared at her shopping list in confusion. The person listed that they liked cold things, so why didn't they just go outside? Could she maybe just take her person outside as a gift? Or throw a snowball at them. That would be easy, just toss them a snowball and wait for her own present.
After consulting with a stranger, she settled on making a box and stuffing it with assorted candies. Hopefully that would work.
Floating through the doorway of the room where they were supposed to exchange, she roamed around, lazily asking people if they were called Noelle. Her attention set on a stranger with blue hair, Letty approached. "You Noelle?"

Leticia. That's who she got as her secret santa. Now, who was she? There was a room of people and she'd never seen most of them before, so where was she supposed to look? Suddenly she heard a voice- "You Noelle?"- that was pretty easy. She turned around. This must be the girl she was supposed to give her gift too. She'd a lot of interesting things on her list, and that's what Noelle had gotten her. A book about sail boats, a necklace with a carrot charm
on it, and a pair of blue socks with cats on them. "Yes I am, and you're Leticia?" she just wanted to make sure there's was no mistakes. Probably though she sounded stupid. 'Oh well, no one would really care anyway.' Looking at the girl, she was very satisfied with the presents she got. She wondered if the girl was able to find anything fit to buy on the list Noelle had written. Most people had trouble with the things she asked for. She shifted her weight,a gripped the packages, which were stacked on top of each other from largest to smallest.

"Yeah. That's me. She almost asked if this was Noelle, but stopped when she realised that she had already asked that. Why did they have to pair up with strangers? This was so awkward. Letty glanced down at the miniature tower of parcels, suddenly daunted by the fact that she had only thought to get one gift. Ah, hopefully the relative large size of the box made up for it.

Handing over the wrapped box containing the assorted candies, Leticia glanced curiously at the parcels. "I know it's not much, but I hope you like it."

Noelle was relieved to know this was Leticia, and she let out a small sigh of relief.

"I know it's not much, but I hope you like it."

Noelle looked at the box, it was a box of secrets. "No problem, how about we open them at the same time so it's not too... awkward?" She was starting to get exciting about seeing the girl's expression when she opened the gifts. She really hoped that she liked them. She had gotten what she said she liked on the list, and that's all she could do. "Here, let's open them now at the same time." She handed the boxes to her and waited to be handed hers.

Yes, lessening the awkward of gift giving would ease the tension nicely. Excited to tear open her things, Letty's fingers itched to dig themselves deep into the paper and shred it with every ounce of energy she possessed. She loved the feeling of that power, the power of being able to rip paper to tiny pieces with a single swipe of her carefully manicured nails. She felt very catlike and powerful. To be completely honest, the action of shredding overpowered the excitement of getting things just a tiny bit.

Her eyes widening in anticipation for the paper she was about to shred, Letty reached out to hold the boxes, and passed over her own parcel. The candies shifted around and made it awkward to hold. The size of the box forced the small Leticia to hold it carefully with both hands. The package safely transferred, Leticia set to work shredding her paper, enjoying the rich sound of the paper giving way to her claws. Nearly all the paper had been shredded, and it had fallen in an odd sort of halo around her body. She had almost forgotten to check what the actual gifts were! Reaching back at the rejected pile of presents, Leticia examined them in turn carefully, her face lighting up with delight as she found interest in each one of them. Looking up with a pleasantly surprised face, Leticia gave a very rare genuine smile. "Thank you! I love them all.

Noelle held the gift in her hand and waited. When she saw Leticia start to open hers, she began to pull off the wrapping. She opened the box, to see what was inside. 'Holy cow, you've got to be kidding me right now!' She thought. Candy, so many pieces, an different kinds! Skittles, Starbursts, Jolly Ranchers, it was amazing! Her mouth watered just looking at the candies. She looked up to see if Leticia liked her gifts. She was satisfied to see the girl smile at them.

"Thank you! I love them all."

"Your welcome, glad you like them! The candy is great, I'm going to have a feast! Thank you very much. I'm glad I signed up for this." Noelle looked at the candy and smiled. She wanted to eat a piece right now.

Letty was pleased to see that her gift went over so well. The socks were probably her favourite gift, the cats were especially exciting. Leticia had taken an unusual shine to the species as of late, and she delighted over wearing them as soon as possible.

"I'm glad you like your gift, too. I wasn't sure what types of candy you liked so I just got a big box." Clutching her socks, as well as her book and necklace, Letty felt very happy. She hadn't expected to get such neat gives from a school exchange. "I wonder what everyone else got... ?"

Noelle smiled at the girl, very pleased with the gifts she'd given her. Of course she scored well with the candy.

"I'm glad you like your gift, too. I wasn't sure what types of candy you liked so I just got a big box."

"Yes," said Noelle with a hint of excitement "I love them all, they're sure to last me a long time." The chewy jolly ranchers were her favorite in the box, and she couldn't wait to eat some. She looked around the room at the people exchanging and opening gifts. Her eyes beamed with an unexpected playfulness. "I don't think it would hurt to walk around and look, do you?" It would be fun to see what everyone got. She unwrapped a Green Apple Chewy Jolly Rancher, popped it in her mouth. She hoped Leticia would agree.

Happy that Noelle was pleased, Letty tied up her new necklace into her horns. She didn't often wear jewelry, but when she did, it went on top of her impressive horns 90% of the time. As for the other two gifts, Leticia was satisfied to simply carry them in her arms. She didn't want anyone else to lift them, after all.

"I'm sure everyone else would be happy to show off their new presents. " A quick glance around confirmed that almost everyone had already exchanged and were now chattering excitedly with one another. Pointing at a cluster of students, Ania looked to Noelle. "Perhaps we can join that group."

Noelle closed the box of candies and surveyed the room carefully. There were lots of different people, with wings, dresses, suits, it was very interesting. They all held boxes and bags filled with surprises, which seemed to be much to most people's delight.

"Perhaps we can join that group."

Noelle quickly looked over at the group, not really bothering to take in who they were. She shrugged, letting her excitement fade a little. "Sure" she said cooly "why don't you lead the way?"
