There was another series of tapping on the table. Short nails, short fingers, hitting the surface quickly one after another even though Aiden already left his place to stand. Adelene was doing it thoughtfully, before grabbing the bottle and giving it a closer inspection.

"Sounds... fair, I suppose," she answered, before following with her eyes where the doctor went. She wondered for a moment how much this medicine was going to cost her. She wasn't very welcoming to the thought of "expensive". "The... academy can cover this expense, right?" She wanted to make sure, while hoping she was right. "Is that all, Doc?"

Aiden nodded.

He was still looking out the window, seemingly oblivious to the tapping of her finger nails, but he'd by lying if he said there was nothing that bothered him. He didn't show it, though, just reached out to stroke the head of one of the sleeping kittens.

"The academy covers all student expenses," he explained, although once he said it, he didn't know if that was true. He just knew that someone was giving him the money and they didn't look too deep into Aiden's past, so Aiden didn't look too far into who was paying him.

"That's all, Miss Cross," Aiden said. "I'll see you in a week. My office door is always open if you need me sooner."
