Adelene glared. She hasn't read or watched Fifty Shades of Grey, but she spends enough time in the internet to know what it's all about. She slapped Lochlann, but it was a soft one meant to match his joke. And then a grin slowly formed on her lips again. "Do try, I'll be the one to tie you down for punishment if you do."
As for her answer, she probably hoped it was a lie, that's why she chose it. And when Lochlann took out a small box, though it didn't look like for a wedding ring at all, it felt like something she didn't know tugged on her chest. She laughed together with Lochlann.
She was actually relieved it was a lie.
"Good." It was almost too obvious in her tone and sigh, and that caused her to panic. "Well I mean I don't have to drink more beer, so yeah, that's good. You've eaten a giant squid though? How huge exactly?"
She picked up her bottle and made a rotating motion on its neck again. It was already more than half empty. "Okay, my turn. Uhm... Let's see..." She realized that most of the truths and lies she could think of were from her past. And, probably because of the warm and fuzzy feeling the alcohol brought, she didn't mind talking about them now. It hurt much less at the moment, and she could actually try pouring them out and letting them go without the feeling she's been trying not to feel. "I've tried driving a monster truck off road, I've tried shooting a military tank with an RPG-- it's like a bazooka if you don't know-- and I've tried swimming in ice water." She chuckled. "Whatever you choose, all three are pretty extreme, aren't they?"
