(( I went with Damien going after Abel leaving savannah and loch together. I'm assuming the vent passed through a wall at one point and continued on the ceiling on the opposite side. Thus a hole in the wall to get to Abel faster and loch and savannah seemed to have fallen so they are all seperated but I wrote in a way for them to rejoin the group because it seemed like a good survival horror last minute rescue set up for them, then Abel followed clock's post and finally clock ended up somewhere/everywhere else.

Anything seem to be mistaken?))

No, just a lot os misunderstanding, mostly mine as it would seem. But, we got everyone where they are supposed to be. Abel is still in the vent, flying up, Michale is going after him, Damien is bringing down the wall, which forced M. Out of the shadow, Savannah and Loch fell somewhere else.

She bared and gritted her teeth at Damien, for a second she thought he would an interesting lad. But his direct approach to things was one she didn't enjoy. Has he no decency to others! His snarky remark didn't go unnoticed either, sadly this wasn't the place to express her upmost intentions. Several loud sounds emitted, plaguing the fox's ears as she tried her best to drown them out.

It only got worse when Damien left or Abel, what ever happened it caused the vents to creak and cry and collapse. Loch was the first to slide down the newly made tunnel ramp. Savannah had sprung her arms out in attempt to latch onto something, but was there to hold onto in a vent? Her hands wiped across the cold metal as she shortly came out the end of the vent. In a last ditch effort she tried to hold on the edge of the vent, but ended up slicing one of her hands on the thin edge of the vent.

She crashed onto the floor and rolled to into Loch who cushioned her stop. It took her moment to shake off the concussion, and realise that the others weren't with them. The cut hand had blood trickling out from both ends of the opening, it was relatively deep. Knowing the repercussion of ignoring the wound Savannah lifted up her dress and used her teeth to tear some of the end off, shortening the dress above her knees. "Bold? Ha! Reckless and a dolt is what he is." The fox said out loud as she tied her ripped dress cloth round her hand followed by a series breath catching. Her dressed hand shook a little, it even surprised her that it even happened.

She sat herself round the Loch. "You, are you able to stand?" She quickly asked, placing her bare hand over his cheek to face his head towards her. Savannah didn't want to over stay her welcoming in this room, not when they could be greeted by those things again.

For a moment Damien considered trying to call for help. None of the rest of his back back home would be able to get here in any reasonable amount of time but there was their alpha. He always seemed to be exactly where the most desperate member needed him to be. This wasn't that situation yet, minor casualties might occur if any but he figured that there it wasn't likely anyway that he would receive any help.

He moved on from that thought and considered his situation. Ectoplasmic disruptor rounds didn't work which meant this was not the same effect as the method that wraiths used to manipulate shadow, nor the vampire discipline that seemed to do the same. What else did he have that might help..? Incendiary rounds? No those would only cause more holes in the walls.. and fires. Rubber bullets? Hell no. Standard durasteel rounds? Not likely. UV rounds? His eyes opened wide at that moment. If anything he had was going to do anything it would be that.
"Reload protocol, UV rounds." He said as the pistol once again began to change. Plates covered the sides and top, the trigger housing mechanism extended downward and bent back, and the plates extended over the top forming new sights to compensate for the range of the UV light. (1 chi point cost 9/12 remain)

He now thought it possible he might be able to do something but he placed the striker back in its sheath and moved forward in an attempt to catch up to Abel and the reality deviation. However, about four steps into it he stopped and turned. Logic dictated two different courses of action:
1.) The others were alone, status unknown as far as injuries went, which made them possible targets plus they had unknown combat abilities which meant they may or may not require more help.
2.) Abel was now alone against this reality deviation which made him a logical target and he had been targeted before previously by some reality deviation.

In the end he opted for assisting Abel but to do that he had to get him to stop moving around so much.
"Abel you've got to stop, we can't be seperated!" He shouted.

Blood. There was a lot of blood.

"Bold? Ha! Reckless and a dolt is what he is.

He heard her voice, but he couldn't see her. He blinked, realizing his eyes had been closed, and now he was staring. Blood.

He could smell it on the air, thick and coppery, so tangible he could almost taste it. Loch was swimming in a dream. He saw Savannah rip off a piece of her shirt, lengthening the view of her legs--she had lovely calves and he felt himself starting to sweat. His thoughts where murky, darker than swamp water.

"You, are you able to stand?"

Her hand was warm against his face, her fingers soft, and it took Loch a full minute to comprehend the question.

"Yes," he said, even though he truthfully didn't know. He just assumed he could. But he didn't move. He was thinking about how easy it would be to run his hands over the bare skin on her legs. He imagined it'd be as soft as the skin on her fingers--

Get a grip, he told himself. he smoothed the edges of the patch on his arm, which had started to lift up.

"I'm getting up," he told her, but as he sat up his head swam again and darkness clouded at his vision. He'd hit it too hard. "....in a minute,"

He laid perfectly still, his body tensed and alert, waiting for the pain to subdue so he could pick himself up off the floor, but that's when he heard it.

Something slow.

Something tapping.

Something was coming their way.

" You can use that fire whenever, yeah?" Loch asked. His voice was a little slurred again; He probably had a concussion. "Because I have a feeling you'll need it."

He rolled over onto his stomach, his pupils so dialed they'd turned his eyes completely black. His nostrils flared. Right now, there was something to his motion that seemed more animal than human. His teeth were points.

Of course, Abel couldn't very well hear Damien as he called out to him through the vents. Maybe if it were a quiet room and he was listening to his neighbors through the vent, but not with all of the commotion going on. Even if he could, would that have been enough to calm him down? The rational instruction made perfect sense, but all Abel could think of, was trying to escape the darkness. The boy was gone.

Besides, from Damien's point of view, it'd be pretty hard to tell what was going on. There was a lot of metal between him and Abel, and even if his version of x ray vision could see past that, it probably wouldn't pick up the weak glow Abel was generating with his powers. It'd be hard to guess what was happening, but the way Abel's powers were dragging him up the vents, and how much he was panicking and flailing about, it'd be more natural to assume that the darkness or the insect swarm was carrying him up, rather than that he was being pushed up by his own volition.

Abel was barely in control of his powers anyway. He just wanted to escape that darkness, and his powers were responding to that fear and propelling him as fast possible.

After clearing what was probably several floors, Abel's flailing arm caught a junction in the vent. He climbed onto solid ground, and tried to catch his breath. Not an easy task. His chest heaved and felt like it was on fire. He wasn't sure if the insects were still there or not, it was too dark now that he wasn't using his powers. He began to crawl forward towards what seemed like a dim light ahead of him.

Michael slamed into the first flat surface he could fine, which, unfortunately, was the wall of the vertical vent he was flying up through, half-carried by his powers, half walking through the walls, as the small space of vertical vent was not a good place to create a shadow shelter within the walls. He followed the boy in frnt of him on instinct, like an animal following it's prey, or one of his darkness creature blood. Speaking of which...

Delicious. Something smelled delicious. Blood, like glowing sun, smelling of magic, and all life. Blood, warm, warm, and thick, full of essence that he would take. He followed the smell, the smell of magic, he would take, finding himself before a kitsune and a boy?-it did not smell like just a boy. It didn't matter though. They both had such delicious blood. The creature growled.

Michael felt it's pounding hunger within his own head, growling at the bloodlust rising in his stomach. He hadn't eaten in hours, and while he was not like the creatures he was able to create, he could not fight their feelings in his weakend state of mind. He materiled behind the boy.

The longer she had to wait the more irritated she became, after what seemed to be forever the boy answered. She sighed in relief for not having to drag Loch to safety. She retreated and stood, taking a look round the room. It was another patient room of the same ward, essentially identical to the one they were in before they were separated.

She threw a glance to Loch half expecting him to be standing. A smile formed as she watched him sit there. He was trying hard, she could she that. It would be a pain to tell someone to stop when they were clearly stubborn and unfit to continue, the boy knew his limits.

For a moment she thought she heard a sound, it repeated in a steady rhythm. Her eyes looked into the direction of the sound, unable to see what was there. What was clear it wasn't the other boys. Loch had the same idea. Savannah nodded to him. What was she going to do? Stand over his body and protect them from something she had no idea about. Usually the safest choice was to abandon the boy to save her own skin, she could change into her fox form and flee quickly. However she could not exactly escape the island so easily any more for a number of reasons. The outside world will hardly accept her, she realised this as time went on. It was at great difficulty did she convince a quiet family to allow her to stay.

Manta Carlos was a place of belonging, she wasn't alone any more. To run now would be more than cowardice. It would be turning her back on the chance to live without the need to hide, no threat of denial.

Through her thoughts the thing had made it's appearance. It was an unknown entity, it was no surprise to her. Savannah lived a life among humans and only humans, everything here was a new experience.

A feeling of rush coursed through her body as the entity growled, she would be lying if she said she wasn't afraid. It was like a predator cornering it's prey. The fox moved to put herself between Loch and the creature. She flared up her tails like a peacock would with it's feathers, a moment later her flames ignited at the ends of the tails. She held out her unwounded hand as it became engulfed in fire. The room dully lit up from the display.

Savannah gritted her teeth and bared them also, she felt her animal like instincts take effect. A growl of hers answered the entities own. She couldn't come out with any words, she never did in these situations. It wasn't as if her foe would care. In her mind she asked herself when was the last time she truly had to fight. There was no room to back down now.

If it meant she'd be harmed in the process for safe guarding the boy, then that's what it will come down to.

The creature had no shape. It was simply darkness, gathered together by Michael's anger and pain. The creature also had little mind, just enough thought to know what it wanted...

To kill. Kill Michael, kill the wicked boy, kill, kill, kill, kill them all. Kill Kitsune and her perfect magic, kill the boy, and his smell of water. Just kill. Kill them all. That's all it ever wanted. And it needed very little mind for that. It stepped forward.

The kitsune moved, putting her body between the creature and the boy. The creature laughed. Or at least, it would laugh, if it had a mind evolved enough for that. Michael laughed, somewhere far away, seeing through the creatures eyes.

Suddenly, the smell of maigc grew stronger as Kitsune light up the room with her fire. The creature growled, uncomfortabl, but not scared at all. Light always ment more shadow, and if it stayed away far enough from the source, the fire could actually be his help, not theirs. So the creature took a careful step onto the left, targeting her weak side, the wounded hand covered in delisious blood it would soon lick, lick, drink, bite, bite... It jumped.

Damien would have growled when Abel left his sight. He was new to this protecting reality deviants business, and he recalled a time when the sensors informing him of reality deviation meant that he was to annihilate it with every fiber of his being, now many of them were his friends, or fewer though still equally significant, his pack. Turning to the hole in the wall he had made he walked back toward the room with the others whom he had left behind assuming they would be okay.
"Deactivate xray vision, initialize night eyes protocol subroutine set to factor in major differences in light to accommodate a delay lasting one second less." He said, switching back to the night vision he was getting more accustomed to using and walking through the hole to see.. A monster.

"Reality deviation detected, likelihood of current ammunition being successful, unknown, further data needs to be gathered to successfully-"
"Understood, standby for further commands." He interrupted finishing the discussion in his head. Years of training as a former agent went into motion as he took the pistol from the sheath and watched, attempting to position himself in an area where he could use it without hitting anyone but his target. If the kitsune could deal with it by herself so be it, but he wasn't going to be any help if he couldn't fire his weapon, and he had assumed physical attacks wouldn't work, but hadn't gotten a chance to collect any actual data on that either.

He felt out of place here, like this was something he shouldn't be participating in. Thus far whatever this was hadn't taken any interest in him and he hadn't been targeted by bugs or any other shadow apparitions so he could only assume that it hadn't taken any interest in him. That would prove to be his advantage he hoped as he attempted to sneak behind a hospital bed in the darkness where he could blend in, though he questioned the wisdom as to whether or not it was actually going to be to his advantage to do so. This whole situation was beyond his control and he didn't like it.
"Good luck fox girl." He thought.
