The Downtown area of the Manta Carlos Islands was buzzing with life. Couples strolled down the street, hand-in-hand. Groups of friends met up to eat lunch and hopefully enjoy a day out on the town. Children whined to their parents. To top it all off, the citizens seemed to be celebrating the local holiday, Founder’s Day, which only added to the craziness. Stuck in the middle of it all was Lucia.
Being new to the island, there were many places she wanted to explore, one of them being the city center and the variety of shops it had to offer. She would not only get to see more of the island, but there was a chance that she could meet some new people there--Shopkeepers, other students, or maybe even just some friendly citizens. It was a great idea...In theory. Unluckily for Lucia, she managed to pick one of the busiest days of the year to make her visit.
She stumbled upon the obscure shop while trying to find some peace. After finally escaping from the loud noises and the claustrophobia, Dark Arts Fashion was a blessing in disguise. Even though the clothes weren’t her style, something about the shop piqued her curiosity. Maybe it was the well-crafted items on display, maybe it was the overall atmosphere of the place, or maybe it was a combination of the two. Nevertheless, she decided to take a look around the store, if only just to avoid having to go back to the hell that was Founder’s Day. She pushed open the door and began to look around.
