Evidence Available: Come the new year, a smell was reported in the residential area. Not a few days later and beautifully wrapped presents were turning up with body parts inside. The heads had no teeth or eyes and the fingers and toes had no toes or fingers. There is no eyewitnesses, the closest is someone mentioning that a present had been thrown at them and they heard a female voice, along with seeing two figures run off.
Description of Event: Kylar and Vincenzo, under disguise, went around and hid presents full of dismembered body parts for people to find after Christmas.

Evidence Available: Over the past few weeks, several unnatural crimes have occurred. Ordinary citizens that have spent their lives being law abiding have snapped, attacking friends and family, committing horrendous robberies, and generally committing acts of evil. After these crimes, the arrested parties were reported to have blackened veins and erratic changes to their recorded psychological profiles. Those healed of the strange, corruptive infection, report recieving the infection from different people. All of them identify the entity as someone called "it". These infections have begun popping up with increased regularity and there are some hints that certain people may have become capable of spreading the infection themselves.
Description of Event: Inky has begun infecting the populous of the Island.

Type of Report: Use of Lethal Force in Self Defense & Attempted Murder
Person(s) Reporting: 19 NPC, Affiliated with the Crime Organization "Black Fang Mafia". One missing that managed to escape.

Evidence Available: Nineteen dead bodies dismembered and disemboweled in a variety of ways found in an alley located in "The Strip" after dusk. Evidence of firearms used before the times deaths of the few bodies that were still intact enough to offer an accurate time stamp of death. Seiken Jin Hou suffered minor bruising due to a High-Calibur 45 Pistol being used by one of the men that fired on him. Evidence of bullet impact through his clothing and body dictate he was assaulted with firearms before he killed. Eye Witness report from James Havoc also provided evidence that he performed only self-defense. Tattoo's and markings holding the Black Fang Mafia's symbol have been located on all bodies or clothing worn by the deceased.

Description of Event: Seiken Jin Hou, Senior Student at SA was assaulted in the northwestern side of "The Strip" at roughly five pm. He retaliated with lethal force in self-defense, showing signs of lack of proper control of his powers due to psychological complications that were originally unknown to the school. He has been cleared of charges of murder, however, he is required to visit a therapy session once a week for the next six months unless officially cleared by a psychologist.

A note has been added to his portfolio dictating that immense lethal force and military grade weaponry would be required to deal with Seiken should anything get out of hand with him in the future.

OOC Note: It is to be noted for any police or investigator PC that want to get involved, that any digging into this matter would result in an oddly overwhelming amount of information on the Mafia members, but an immense lack of information on Seiken. Only information that proves his innocence exists officially as if someone with alot of authority ensured it that way to make sure that even though he was innocent- no one could even try to question it or cause the young man problems. So if that annoyed any PC officers, investigators, etc or piques their curiosity and they want to question him off the clock, the option is certainly there.

Evidence Available: Eroshay was last seen walking the downtown area on the eight at five pm by a few eyewitnesses. She did not go to school the next day and none of her family called in sick for her. Toward the end of the day, an anonymous call reported her missing along with her description.

UPDATE: Shay returns on Feb 15th, 2017 at nine A.M. but she makes no statement to the police.

Evidence Available: Woman returned home from work to find her sister murdered in their basement.

For those investigating for entry points, they would find an all too easy one in the form of an open window at the rear of the house, inside there were areas of the carpet scuffed by heavy boots, but no real dirt for bootprints. The victim is lying face-down. Both arms had been removed from her body, they could be found along the staircase. The victim has a large open wound on her back and her spine appears to be missing. On her back, next to the open wound, the word "infected" has been etched into her skin, likely by a knife. A number of small bruises are located all over her body, as well as one larger bruise on her back near the spine wound. Her chest and lower neck are covered in dozens of short nails, too small to hit anything too important, but enough to cause a lot of pain. Another wound, this one deeper, could be seen at the base of the skull. Of the spikes involved 4 missed the victim's body, one is embedded in her hip, another punctured beneath her left lung, and the last one just grazing the side of her right lung.

On observation of the traps involved, the nails have traces of blast residue on them, same as the patch of floor at the top of the stairs, indicating the use of a low-power nail bomb. A switch attached to the cieling appears built to hold and drop an object, likely the bomb.
The trap in the door frame features two blades, one is a whole machete, the other is a thin slate of scrap metal with a sharpened edge. The mechanism seems built to swing the blades downward in a 270 degree arc.
Both of these traps are connected to a system of tripwires at the door.
The spike trap, Upon closer inspection, is designed in such a way as to blend in with the floor, without compromising its abilities. It has also been fitted with a three step pressure trigger system, the first starts the system up, the second trigger arms it, the third springs the trap.

If one should check the garbage bag in the kitchen, they will find it contains a large amount of blueberry jam. A full jar of blueberry jam can be found dropped at the top of the stairs.

Description of Event: The Trapper entered through an open window at the rear of the victims house in the dead of night. He set three traps, a blade trap and nail bomb trap at the top of the stairs leading to the basement, and a spike trap at the bottom of the same stairs. He then went into the kitchen and grabbed a jam jar that was in the open. He then emptied its contents into the garbage and placed it in full view on the counter. After it was all set the Trapper hid in a closet near the stairs.

When the victim, a fire mage named Cindy, entered and saw the empty jar, went to the basement to retrieve a fresh jar. When she reached the bottom of the stairs she unknowingly activated the first trigger of three in the spike trap. During this time the Trapper moved to the door frame and placed the trigger system for the blade and nail traps, before retreating back to his hiding place. As Cindy came back up the stairs she triggered the second part of the spike trap, which armed the trap. When she reached the top of the stairs she triggered the first two traps. First the blades swung down, cutting off her arms. As she stumbled, the bomb dropped from the cieling and exploded, spraying her torso in nails. This caused her to fall backward down the stairs all the way to the bottom where she triggered the final phase of the spike trap and was impaled in several places on her torso.

It was at this point The Trapper made his way down the stairs before promptly slamming his foot on the victims back. He then used his spear to stab through the back of her skull, killing her. The Trapper then took the time to carefully remove the victim's spine before exiting the scene the same way he entered.

I made his first murder go off very well, future murders will not be so likely but regardless I would prefer he not get caught on his first kill. (He is a Serial Killer after all)

Type of Report: Body Found!

Person(s) Reporting: Some random guy, people who just so happen to walking by.

Evidence Available: Something fell out the sky early morning and landed in a alley making lot's of noise due to hitting dumpster. The body is covered in a weird substance, stinks, and just has a large rip through the center of chest. The body very much resembles Desmond Reynolds and just very much can be considered "dead".

Description of Event: Desmond was sick, he got some drugs, had a very trippy walk through the forest, became a human cocoon and was just lowkey missing for a month and now emerged from cocoon/old body which he took and just simply dropped it into a alley.
