Milo smiled. Vince's voice was softer and sleepy, then he was out like a light. Adorable. Now that he was taken care of and Milo was more alone with his thoughts, he gnawed at his bottom lip and bounced to his feet again. He wasn't tired. He had something very important to do. He fetched Vince his water first, then he grabbed his coat and he was out of there fast. He wasn't sure how much time he had before Vince would be up and needing food, so he was in no mood to fuck around.
Milo walked from the residential, white picket fence area into the city, quietly looking over the money Vince had given him along with what he had in his own wallet and knew there was on his credit cards. He could make this happen. It wouldn't be the most expensive option available, but it wouldn't be low quality, either. Milo knew where he was going already, too. He'd seen it before, and now every time he passed by, he lingered and thought on it before rushing away with a very hot face. This time, he just went straight for it.
It was a little locally owned Fae jewelers. The store was small, but gorgeous inside, and it would be hard for one to keep focus if they weren't on a mission. Milo's posture was awkward, and he was terribly, painfully flustered, but he was stubborn nonetheless. He approached the elderly man at the counter, once he'd maneuvered through many shinies and knick knacks.
He explained his situation, presented all his cash in an amusing pile, and leveled the other with a nervous but firm stare. The old Fae smiled at him, and went into the back, soon bringing back a selection of what he'd asked for with all his heart. For their shared species and his powerful sentiment, he received a discount, and was able to both get something he was happy with, and a small charm- to add a cherry to the cake.
After, he went back to the grocery store, thanked the annoyed employee, and returned home to cook Vince some chicken. That, and wait to present what he'd bought with endless fluttering in his chest.
