Milo had never done anything like this before. Even his last joining of the elections was a simple impulse, boredom based thing. Now, he was taking it seriously. He hadn't expected to care about something like this, something so community based and in the spotlight. Perhaps college was just as different from highschool as everyone constantly claimed it was. It was going to be a lot to work with for his introvert heart, but he was invested. He wanted to be on the Student Council. He adored SA, he enjoyed talking to people and listening to their interests and concerned, and he actually thought he could be a positive influence here in a position of authority. It was important.
His fiance, however, was more important. Milo was already getting busier and nervous, and it'd get worse seeing the new elections were right about to get started. He'd set aside today to spend some quality time with Vince before things got hectic. Try and shut off his brain and the council focused drivel of thoughts.
He went over to Vince's house at around noon with groceries in his arms and a bag with some homework he needed to finish over his shoulder. He had too much stuff to open the front door without a lot of fuckery, so he sighed and leaned on the doorframe. "Love? Angel? I'm here," Milo called out, hoping he was loud enough to be heard from inside the house. "Carrying a lot of shit, can you lemme in? I've got cake ingredients, if that helps inspire you to do so."
