Klaus tapped his fingers on his thigh, fidgety and irritable. He was debating whether he was going to throw on a coat and drive over to Club Gambit or not. If he waited, he could do a little research on new island arrivals (checking specifically for the names Eliana had given him), as well as preparing a bit more in general. And if he went now… aw, who was he fucking kidding? He was only patient when he was feeling especially self assured or motivated to, and right then, he just felt greed and curiosity eating away at the edges of his mental state. Ignoring that never ended well.
So he got his usual kingpin look- tall, dark and stabby with a side of sunglasses- together, and was ready to be out the door and into the brisk night. Except, when he was a breath away, there was a knock.
He squinted. No, right? Because she said they'd be showing up later, and it hadn't been that long… only one way to find out. Klaus opened up the door, cool air flowing in, mixing with the warmth from both his home and aura. He raised an eyebrow at Eliana, before full-on breaking out into a huge, silly grin. He took his sunglasses off, then coat, ditching them on the front hall's side table- switching easily back to older brother and host vibes as opposed to out-and-about gang leader.
"I guess we both had the same idea, huh?" He tugged the girl into a hug and showered her face with light kisses, laughing. "This is a lot sooner than the 'later' I was expecting from your text, firecracker! Hey, I'm glad though."
He turned to her companion, ready to offer the proper attention they deserved now. His magic was interested and reaching out, already possessive.
They were humanoid but not fully, which Klaus found attractive more than a turn-off. Tall, though not as or more so than him. A lot of piercings. He liked all of that, and imagined it could easily slip into love with any little trigger- possibly even hearing them speak. Ah, he was fond.
He tilted his head, smiling, eyes crinkling at the edges with genuine sentiment. "And you! You must be Panaria. Or do you mind just Pan? I'm a fan of nicknames, so I'm going with that. Sorry to drag you away from your clubbing, but I can't stand not meeting family. Come on in, the both of you, and tell me if you want something to eat or drink."
