Pan turned their head to look out at the dance floor. Part of them would have loved to go dance and enjoy the night but they could feel it in themselves that now was not the time. However, they would have to return to this quaint little club once they were back to their usual self.

"Well miss socialite, would you like to dance? I don't want to break you away from your night of fun on account of my misfortune." They returned the wink making sure a playful tone showed through. They did want Eliana to enjoy their night and Pan didn't want to get in the way of that.

"Oh, no, no, no," Eli snickered, gently nudging Pan with her shoulder. "I said it was your choice; you can't give that gift back to me. It's rude, Luv. So, would you like to play or meet family? Oh, did I mention that part? Yeah, Klaus is our totally hot cousin. Anywhoooo," Eliana sighed wistfully, "I guess I'd have to vote on the whole family thing, 'cause I gotta be honest with you, Pan, I don't think I'll fully be able to enjoy myself knowing Klaus is getting annoyed with me. But again, your decision. I don't wanna sway you at all."

Pan chuckled, "Alright alright. My choice, then I guess we shall go meet Klaus. I believe I may have ran into a couple of his brother's in New York before. Supposing this is the same Klaus." They gave a smile, glanced at their drink to see if there was anything left in it and then turned their attention back to Eli.

"Well then my dear. I am already to go when you are."

Eliana slipped from the booth and offered her hand to Pan, grin never wavering. "It's probably, especially if they mentioned he gives good gifts, that's his thing."

She'd lead Pan out, arm in arm, into the night where they would walk from downtown to the strip, which wasn't far. Somewhere near was a tall, four-story house squished between two buildings. She would step forward and knock happily on the door, glancing back at Pan. "Pretty nice, eh?"

Pan chuckled as they took Eli's hand. "I may recall something about lavish presents." The walk with Eli was nice and Pan was already felling ten times better than they had since arriving. It seemed that maybe things would work themselves out after all.

The house was quite nice indeed. They gave a nod to Eliana as they looked up and down at the building and then glanced back to their friend, "Much nicer than anything I've ever lived in." It was a bit of a jealous statement but also one of awe and approval.

Klaus tapped his fingers on his thigh, fidgety and irritable. He was debating whether he was going to throw on a coat and drive over to Club Gambit or not. If he waited, he could do a little research on new island arrivals (checking specifically for the names Eliana had given him), as well as preparing a bit more in general. And if he went now… aw, who was he fucking kidding? He was only patient when he was feeling especially self assured or motivated to, and right then, he just felt greed and curiosity eating away at the edges of his mental state. Ignoring that never ended well.

So he got his usual kingpin look- tall, dark and stabby with a side of sunglasses- together, and was ready to be out the door and into the brisk night. Except, when he was a breath away, there was a knock.

He squinted. No, right? Because she said they'd be showing up later, and it hadn't been that long… only one way to find out. Klaus opened up the door, cool air flowing in, mixing with the warmth from both his home and aura. He raised an eyebrow at Eliana, before full-on breaking out into a huge, silly grin. He took his sunglasses off, then coat, ditching them on the front hall's side table- switching easily back to older brother and host vibes as opposed to out-and-about gang leader.

"I guess we both had the same idea, huh?" He tugged the girl into a hug and showered her face with light kisses, laughing. "This is a lot sooner than the 'later' I was expecting from your text, firecracker! Hey, I'm glad though."

He turned to her companion, ready to offer the proper attention they deserved now. His magic was interested and reaching out, already possessive.

They were humanoid but not fully, which Klaus found attractive more than a turn-off. Tall, though not as or more so than him. A lot of piercings. He liked all of that, and imagined it could easily slip into love with any little trigger- possibly even hearing them speak. Ah, he was fond.

He tilted his head, smiling, eyes crinkling at the edges with genuine sentiment. "And you! You must be Panaria. Or do you mind just Pan? I'm a fan of nicknames, so I'm going with that. Sorry to drag you away from your clubbing, but I can't stand not meeting family. Come on in, the both of you, and tell me if you want something to eat or drink."

"I aim to please," Eliana giggled as Klaus kissed her face. She relished the attention before he addressed Pan. Eli didn't step away from Klaus, though. She wrapped an arm around his waist and leaned against his side as he inspected Pan.

She let Pan answer for themself about their preference on nicknames. She unwrapped her arm from Klaus' waist, sticking close to him, ever clingy as she was. She moved to his kitchen, comfortable in his home as she looked through his fridge for some orange juice. She'd have suggested alcohol, but it was better if Pan was clear minded for this.

"Meeting with you is more fun than clubbing, anyway, Klausy. Mind if I brew some coffee? We were drinking." Naturally. Even before Klaus could answer Eliana was starting the pot and getting each of them a mug.

"I was talking with Pan about job opportunities," Eli started casually as she flipped the coffee pot on, turning to face the both of them, hip against Klaus' counter. "They like jobs where they meet a lot of people and are good at getting all peoples' little secrets." She grinned pridefully at Pan.

This must have been the Klaus that Pan had heard of those years ago. Very affectionate, quite handsome, and extremely powerful. Being a demon of lust, they were very aware of people who wanted them and it was easy to tell when someone was interested. It was even more so when that someone had possessive magic reaching out to them.

They gave a nod to him, taking a step or two closer so they could give the man a hug if that was what they wanted or simply follow in the house behind the two. Clearly Eliana was well attached to this man and Pan wasn't one to shove themselves between people.

"Panaria is part of a full name, or a name belonging to a different me, depending on the situation. You may call me Pan though, at any time." Pan's voice was even and held in a range just as ambiguous as their face. "Pleasure to meet you, Klaus."

They entered the house, glancing around at the building. It was nice. Quite nice. "Coffee sounds wonderful to me." Pan answered to Eli. Pan hadn't had coffee since being torn away from the book store in New York and they were all to anxious for that much missed beverage, even more so than alcohol.

Pan chuckled at Eli. "Finding out people's secrets is easy and I must say rather dull in my books. The real trick is finding out a person's truest desires. Now that is what I am the best at." Pan glanced at Klaus, hoping this information would please him. They had never worked for another demon before and they hoped their skills would be something worth while.

Klaus was distracted by Pan for a moment, and when Eli went to the kitchen, brightened up like the sun and gave them a bear hug, squeezing and spinning them, as was traditional with him. "Fantastic! Pleasure's all mine, doll." He was practically bursting with enthusiasm. "I'm Klaus Rosales, as you were told. Greed demon, local kingpin, all around friendly guy! We're going to get along swimmingly, I guarantee it."

"Yeah, sure!" Klaus called back as he ushered Pan in, shutting the door behind them. "Follow your caffeine lusting heart, sugar, and give me a cup too. Hey, hey, I hope you grabbed me my 'number one gang leader dad' mug. That's my favorite." Then, he went to crash on one of his cushy couches in the living room. He patted the spot beside him, offering.

He tilted his head towards Eli in the kitchen, flashing another grin, resting his chin in a palm. "Oh! Gotcha, gotcha. And did you tell them what you do for me? 'Cause it sounds like you two have some similar tastes for career preferences…"

And to Pan's return comment, an intrigued look. "Is that so? Fun. Useful. Both very good things. Tell me about yourself, Pan. Dear Eliana didn't give me much over text, and I wouldn't have wanted her to, as I prefer up close and direct like this. By that, I mean you as a person, your story, your powers-- anything you're comfortable giving, I'll take it. This is both a spontaneous interview and a personal get-to-know-you session."

He smiled reassuringly, like they could share the world with him, and he'd keep it extra safe and cozy.

Eliana hummed in amusement as she dug through his cabinets until she could find said mug and got it out. She got herself and Pan a cup too. Rather than trying to determine how everyone might like their coffee, Eli just grabbed the sugar and a large cup of milk to bring them over to the main room. She set the tray on a coffee table and picked up her black coffee (just the way she liked it.)

She sat on the other side of Klaus and leaned against him. Eliana might have sat elsewhere in the room, but she wasn't big on denying her urges and oh boy, was Klaus Rosales ever a desire. "More or less, but nothing in detail. I was more interested in talking about them." She fluttered her lashes at Pan. Eliana wished she could have told Pan to figure out her deepest, truest aspirations. Mm, now wasn't the time. Unfortunate.

Eliana, bold as ever, set her free hand on Klaus' thigh and turned her head some to better take in his scent. She watched Pan, waiting for the other to begin their story. Eliana had heard it already, but she wasn't interested in interrupting. She was smart enough to know that would be unwelcome, and really, she didn't need to be in any more negative favor than she was already. Woe was her.
