Dealings and Goals: BlackThorn is a private security firm that offers the defense and protection of both people and business assets, regardless if it is federally owned or private. On top of this, it advocates for the personal defense of its fellow citizens and offers classes training both kids and adults in the proper way to conduct themselves in dangerous situations. Such classes include self-defense, survival, stress management. The main building is located downtown and is where most people will come to request and finalize contracts made with BlackThorn. Alongside this is a training facility off-island on the upper right islet. Here, they run most of their classes as space is more forgiving than in the city. The goal of BlackThorn remains to be the protection of the people and the safety of personal property.
Sphere of influence: BlackThorn is confined to the island of Manta Carlos and the outer reaches of space due to national laws of supernatural acts outside the veil put in place for Earth. A majority of all employees are immigrants from all over with the credentials necessary to provide security or keep the company afloat.
Owner: BlackThorn is owned by Haru, a local maid and security guard who has used her family fortune to try and start a stable business on earth. While she is very involved with the personal training of some classes and application process she is really laid back on the paperwork trusting that to others who have better credentials in that department, only making reviews to make sure things are running well.

Deals!!!!: Haru is a fan of personal safety and wants to see a generation of kids who not only have the know-how of self-defense but a promising chance at a career in security should they be in pursuit of one. All students who are able to prove they are in the educational pursuits of security, both federal and private, are offered discounts and opportunities to work with some of the employees. Along with discounts, every weekend BlackThorn will offer free defense classes to children 6-16 going over what to do when in a hostile situation and how to stop an offender should they be attacked. These classes are handled in the sublevels of the main building with some classes being offered at the training facility.
Credentials: BlackThorn is very strict on the people they hire and go through extensive background checks to ensure their workers are physically and mentally capable of handling the job. People with simple weapons skills will not be ensured the job as a good personality is also a major feature expected of its workers. All registered adults(indicated by a person's mental state) are allowed to apply while younger people are merely open to the internship.
Requirements: All BlackThorn Employees upon acceptance will be required to take part in team-building exercises with a designated grouping of individuals until they are considered unnecessary by the ranking officer. Alongside this, the company holds a monthly War Game ceremony with all active personnel as a way to gauge skills and build camaraderie. Those who are considered inadequate are liable for training courses that will not be deducted from their pay unless seen fit.
