Headquarters: The head office is located in one of MC's commercial hotbeds. Their multi-floored building can be noticed at night by a magical projection showing their logo above the building. From here much of the paperwork for Manta Carlos based operations are dealt with along with oversight of other off-world locations.
Dealings and Goals: Vortex is a modern weapons manufactory whose focus is to provide protection and assurance to the life forms of the galaxy. While still producing weapon models from its prior owner Vortex now offers an extensive list of new firearm designs meant to provide safety and reliability to its consumers. Vortex's goal as with many companies is to create and nurture a healthy clientele to supply. Whether it's an individual or a formal government Vortex seeks to diminish illegal hostile action by providing competent deterrents.
Sphere of influence: Vortex is the rebranded name of the former Opal Firearms Industry. Following a sale from its initial parent corporation, Opal Firearms Industry was subsidized by BlackThorn.LLC to expand its market. Attaining a number of assets both on Manta Carlos and in the outer reaches of space Vortex's reach goes well into the stars. On Manta Carlos Island factories churn out goods while under the oversight of the companies headquarter in the city.
Owner: Vortex is a Subsidiary of locally founded BlackThorn.LLC. Security officers from this company can be seen all over Manta Carlos island while also providing security for ships coming and going from the space station above. The company keeps closer ties by having Haru on the Board of Directors.
OOC: I've always wanted to see some blue-collar opportunities be opened up so this is it. The point of this company isn't to be in an office but the factories or performing other forms of R and D. Be that as it may who am I to tell you what to do lol. If you want your character to work somewhere more administrative then feel free to, but officer positions won't be a thing.
