A Little Fall of Rain

Kamberlyn laughed. It was kind of an odd question. She shook her head. "No, I haven't. Have you?" She asked.

Eben smiled when she laughed. Yes, it was an odd question, but he was curious, but he felt a little happy when she laughed. When she returned the question to him, he shook his head. "Nope, I haven't either... Unless you count all my family members." He said, and gave a short laugh.

"You have a lot of family don't you?" Kamberlyn asked him. She walked to the door, remembering that she wasn't supposed to be there. She waited for him at the door though.

Eben nodded. "Yes, I do, a lot of family, though, I don't think I ever counted how many cousins and uncles and aunts I have... to many. He said, shrugging. "Its fun having a lot of family, well, it was, now, its getting smaller because of the people who are hunting us, we don't even know if they are killing those they captured, or just holding those prisoners. We have never got close enough to see, except Fury, and Trephas, though, they never say anything about it." He said, shrugging. He never had to ask many questions, since he could simply see what happened with just letting go of his powers, even though, he would never do so.

He then walked towards the door also, once she did.

((OOC: Mind if I have Fury come by for the heck of it? He has a dorm basically in the same hallway.... ~Lurves Fury's evilness~))

((OoC: that's totally fine with me!! =D))

"Why are they hunting you?" Kamberlyn asked. ((OoC: I can't remember if they already discussed that. XD)) "It must be nice having family. I imagine you always have someone to talk to. It's just me and Kaydence. We're close though, so I guess it's not too bad..." She shrugged carelessly.

"Why are they hunting you?"

He shrugged. "None of us really know, except Fury, well, he thinks he knows anyway, Fury's not right in the head all the time, so none of us believed him. He said that they were gonna hunt us down, and capture us, and do experiments I guess. And what he told us, was saying that these people exterminate people with powers, and people who are different, like, Half-angelic beings, people who don't belong in this time like my family. None of us know really why." He said, folded his arms.

"It must be nice having family. I imagine you always have someone to talk to. It's just me and Kaydence. We're close though, so I guess it's not too bad..."

"Its usually nice, but sometimes, we can have a lot of fights. Hard to keep a good family relationship with all the family members." He merely said about that.

Right then, Fury, who had a dorm not to far away, was standing right outside the door. Glowering at Kamberlyn. Though, he wasn't wearing his armor, only a sword at his belt, he seemed threatening all the same. Eben looked at Fury, a calm look on Eben.

"How dare you tell her, Eben. These modern day scum are not allowed to know our family secrets. Now look, all the family who are here, seem to have a problem with that, first Trephas tells a stupid girl, and Tear, tells an annoying boy, and now you, telling another who does not need to know. What is so hard to keep a secret. I thought you would have some sense about that, Eben, weren't you the one who yelled at Trephas' girlfriend about this? And defying what you said, by telling this idiotic girl." He said, every word lined with anger, and hatred.

"And what he told us, was saying that these people exterminate people with powers, and people who are different, like, Half-angelic beings, people who don't belong in this time like my family."

"That's terrible!" Kamberlyn said with a sigh, feeling sorry for Eben and his family.

"Its usually nice, but sometimes, we can have a lot of fights. Hard to keep a good family relationship with all the family members."

She nodded. "Yes, I can see how that would be a problem..." She turned when one of Eben's relations spoke.

She waited for him to finish his speech. "It's my fault," She said calmly, though he was certainly intimidating. She didn't bother to explain to him what she meant by her words.

"It's my fault,"

Fury gave out a short, annoyed laugh. "Of course its your fault, its always you modern day fools who do it all. Its your fault why the once great and loved Bane family is destroyed because of you fools. Your fault why were stuck in this horrible time." He snarled. All he said, was what he believed. He always believed that it was the fault of modern day people why the Bane family was here now.

"Fury, take your anger somewhere else. Its annoying listening to your ravings day and night. Aren't you ever tired of being in a bad mood?" Eben said, oddly calm, and what he said, merely got Fury to shoot him a hating glare.

Fury pointed at Eben, his rage starting to get a hold on him. "You call them ravings, merely because you don't want to believe the truth. You hide behind your books, and family, believing what they tell you. Not once have any of you believed me, not even when before they took me. You are all fools." Fury's voice shook slightly.

Kamberlyn wondered how Eben could be so calm. "What don't they believe you about? And who took you?" She asked Fury before she could stop herself. She bit her lip while she waited for either Eben or his cousin to reply.

He turned his angry gaze to Kamberlyn. "They don't believe that you present day people, didn't do this to us, bring us to your time." Fury said, as if it was obvious. "And who took me? Those people that are taking my family!" His voice rose slightly, again, saying it almost like it was obvious.

"Fury disappeared for two months, no one knew where he went. Since he came back, he had a hate for everything and everyone." Eben said, in a quiet voice, losing its calmness.

"Come now, Eben, why won't you finally admit it, you've seen my past and what has happened several times, and each time I ask you what happens, you deny everything, when I set foot in that house when I got back you knew, yet... you continue to deny."

Annoyed, Eben finally snap with some anger, his eyes flashing a angered look.

"Yes, Fury, I know what happens, I know what you went through, what you overheard. It was frightening, and I don't want to remember that past. I deny because I do not want it to be true. But since my parents and siblings disappeared I have been confused as to what to think. I believe that they brought us here, those people who are hunting us, but not its not her fault, or any other people, only the Truebloods, or whatever their called. I know what you said was true, I just didn't want to believe." Eben said, the last part was said in a much calmer tone.
