A Little Fall of Rain

"Sure, but I'd have to get it then"

"Alright, let's go get it," Kamberlyn said, standing up.

""It sounds like it would get a little annoying,"

Kamberlyn sighed. "It is annoying. Very annoying. It was starting to get hard to think of names." She replied.

"what was your true name?"

Kamberlyn was silent for a moment. "Anna Rider," She said finally. It was so strange hearing those words come from her, saying her name after so long. She laughed. "Quite different from Kamberlyn Augustana, huh?"

Eben stood up, once Kamberlyn did, and ran a hand once more through his black hair. Then she said it was annoying, always changing names, and Eben merely nodded. He started walking towards the lounge door.

"Anna Rider, quite different from Kamberlyn Augustana, huh?"

She said. Anna. Nice name, he thought, so was Kamberlyn. "Yes, very different..." He said, then thought about something. "Would you change your name back to Anna Rider if the man thats chasing you gets taken care of?" He asked, wondering if she would. He then opened the door, gesturing for Kamberlyn to go through. His father and mother always told him to open doors for ladies and such, it was now a almost habit. If you hanged out about Eben and his family long enough, you would be able to notice a medieval type nature about them.

Kamberlyn was thoughtful for a moment. "I don't really know. Maybe." She said with a careless shrug. "I kind of doubt that's going to happen...not any time soon anyway."

Kamberlyn went out the door with a slight smile. Most guys wouldn't do that. "Thanks." She said.

He looked down a moment, then also shrugged. "I guess it wouldn't matter if you do or don't, Kamberlyn's a nice name." He said, and when she was out, walked out the door himself, and the door closed softly behind him. She had said thanks, and he smiled. He started walking off to where the dorms were.

"Thanks," Kamberlyn said again. Maybe'd she'd leave it after all...She stopped herself. That guy was still after her and Kaydence, she didn't need to worry about her name yet.

She followed him to the dorms.

Eben walked on, a small smile on his face, but it left after a few moments. When he got to a door leading to the hallway with the boys dorms, he opened it, and slipped through, completely forgetting to hold the door open again. Girls weren't allowed in this section, but, he didn't think it'd matter much, unless Fury came along. Eben just had to get the book that Lex had once read, that was on his large shelf full of books.

Soon, he was at the door, with the number #203 on it. Opening that door, he went in, leaving it open for Kamberlyn, as he walked to the shelf in his room. His room was clean, though, there was a pile of books here and there.

Eben pulled out a thick book, that had a dark red leather cover. He opened the book to the near middle, that had a long list of names, Eben's and his sisters and brothers also there. He closed his eyes a moment, and closed the book. When he opened his eyes, they seemed duller. He held the book up to Kamberlyn. "Here." He merely said.

Kamberlyn followed him into his dorm room. When he closed his eyes, she felt bad for asking to see the book in case she'd brought back any painful memories. She took the book and read through it. "Wow...that's really cool." She said with amazement.

"It is pretty cool, though strange, but not much, all my life, I always new this modern day life, while my parents are still recovering from all this, it was hard for them to understand this now busy world. Eben said, glancing towards the window that was in his room, it was slightly open, a mere crack, no rain got in though. Eben hated it when no fresh air can get in, his window is usually always open just a crack.

"It would be really weird, wouldn't it." Kamberlyn agreed, reading through the list once more. Finally she closed the book and handed it back to him. "Thanks for letting me see it." She said.

"It very muchly is..." He mumbled, watching Kamberlyn as she read it again. "No problem." He said, and took the book back as she handed it to him, and then he walked to his bed setting the book on the pillow, then walked back over to her. "Have you ever met anyone else from the future or past?" He asked, just wondering, mainly because Tear met a boy from the past.
