Kamberlyn looked at him with surprise. Then she shook her head, blushing the tiniest bit. "Not yet. I think he'd understand and he wouldn't be angry, but we'd probably have to leave...and I really don't want to leave here." She sighed.

[Should Eben meet Kaydence or something? I don't know. LOL]

((That be fun!))

"I hope he doesn't... not fun having people hate you." Eben said. He already had a cousin who hates him, he didn't need more people to hate him.

"Oh, He wouldn't hate you...at least, I don't think he would..." Kamberlyn replied slowly. She glanced towards the door. "He just came in..." She said, starting to get slightly nervous.

"He just came in..."

Eben looked up. His dull gray eyes showing no emotion like usual. "Strange," he thought, taking in Kamberlyn's brother. He wondered what will come out of this.

Kaydence, overly protective as always, walked over quickly. "Hey," He said calmly, though Kamberlyn could tell he was close to freaking out.

"Hi, Kay. This is my friend Eben. Eben, this is my brother, Kaydence," Kamberlyn said.

Eben looked at Kaydence, as he came over, and Kamberlyn introduced them. Eben smiled politely, and held out his hand. "Nice to meet you, Kaydence." He said, still polite, well, he was always polite, most of the time.

Kaydence took Eben's hand and gave it a single firm shake. Then he went back to his crossed arm-stance. "You too," He wanted to ask Kamberlyn about him, but he wasn't about to be rude. "How are you doing?" He asked his sister, protective of always.

Kamberlyn rolled her eyes so that Eben could see, but not Kaydence. "I'm fine, Kay. Really."

Eben watched Kaydence a moment, before glancing at Kamberlyn, then looked over out a window. Rain hitting against the window. He liked the rain, somehow, it calmed him a little. He listened to them both talk, and wondered if he should say something, say that he saw their past, though, only bits and pieces. He stayed quiet, not going to talk at the moment, unless spoken too.

They stopped talking after a moment. "Nice meeting you," Kaydence said to Eben. "See ya later, Kam." He left the room.

Kamberlyn turned to Eben. "Well, that wasn't too terribly awkward..." She said with a slight smile.

Eben bowed his head slightly, when Kaydence spoke to him. when he left, Eben looked at the door he went out of, then turned to Kamberlyn, and smirked. "No, it wasn't... but he should be told..." Eben spoke in a calm, though quiet like voice. He hated lying to people, but sometimes he would, when neccesary.
