Emery looked surprised for a moment before settling down quickly. Peace smiled welcomingly at him as he corrected himself. He seemed... Nice. It was really quite hard to tell. "Yes, I'm Peace, so you must be Emery," she said in a cheerful voice and a smile. Her posture showed that she was completely comfortable with talking to a stranger, although she was a little nervous about her gift. Would it be enough? Or too much? Or not what he wanted? Her hands clutched the small box firmly, which she only let go of to shake his hand quickly, before returning her hands to the box. It wasn't like the gift was fragile or anything, but if she took her hands off of the box she was afraid they would shake noticeably. "It's nice to meet you, I'm your Secret Santa this year," she added.
Afraid that she was unable to really postpone the gift-giving, she held the box out to him. Inside of it was a pair of gloves she had sourced from the fine materials of her Pantheon. She had ordered a pair to be made out of some of the finest materials to exist within the universe, and to be expertly crafted. Her Goddess status had enabled her to be a priority and the product had arrived just outside the planet in just over a day. The result was a soft but warm material, somewhere between silk and thin velvet, with a slight elasticity to them so they would fit well. They were blue in colour with very fine yellow-gold threading along the seams and to create designs, to match the pigmentation of Emery's hair and eyes. The designs were intricate imagery of the sea, where Peace had heard he came from, and gradually turned into land towards the fingers. This was supposed to symbolise his transition from where he used to live up to the present. With a "Merry Christmas," she handed him the gift and hoped he was satisfied with them, at least.
