This was nice! It was really fun to connect with other people, to get to know them too! Emery's face lit up, showing how much he really did want to try this out. He was going to be social, to actually give someone else a gift. Granted, he really didn't feel like his gift was all that good, but he had tried his best for his partner's sake. The whole concept was still very new to him indeed, so this was a perfect way to master it. At least, to master it in his eyes. He just hoped that Peace as able to find him, as it hadn't been easy for him to try to articulate how and where to meet him.

Peace was both nervous and excited for the Secret Santa gift exchange. She wasn't worried about her own gift - either way, she would receive something that would serve as a memory even if she didn't particularly like it. She was worried about the gift she got for Emery. Knowing next to nobody around town was difficult, as she didn't have someone to ask about her pair. She hadn't been there long enough to make connections or hear about the happenings of Manta Carlos citizens. Nevertheless, she had asked around a little bit just to find out who the guy was and what he might be interested in. She hoped her gift would be acceptable given the limited time and knowledge she had.

She had dressed nicely in brown boots and a long tan overcoat. Her figure was hidden, the only parts of her body showing were her hands and her face, and even that was sheltered behind her big black curls. Her hands clutched a carefully wrapped gift that appeared kind of floppy as it wasn't put inside a box. Peace thought it'd be better to leave it loose than have to go through the suspense of Emery opening a box as well as the light blue wrapping paper.

Approaching the middle of Oceania Park where the massive tree she had seen at the lighting festival stood, Peace glimpsed a head of aqua hair. She knew that must be her pair, and she hurried over, past the other people in the park. When she reached him, she cleared her throat and asked, "Excuse me, are you Emery Suncée?"

The sweet voice that came up behind him was almost enough to make him scream. He didn't though, just giving the girl a firm nod and smiling. "Yes! Piece?" He asked back, before trying to correct himself. "P.... Peace? Yes! Yes?" With a gentle hum he stuck his hand out for her to shake if she wanted to.

Emery looked surprised for a moment before settling down quickly. Peace smiled welcomingly at him as he corrected himself. He seemed... Nice. It was really quite hard to tell. "Yes, I'm Peace, so you must be Emery," she said in a cheerful voice and a smile. Her posture showed that she was completely comfortable with talking to a stranger, although she was a little nervous about her gift. Would it be enough? Or too much? Or not what he wanted? Her hands clutched the small box firmly, which she only let go of to shake his hand quickly, before returning her hands to the box. It wasn't like the gift was fragile or anything, but if she took her hands off of the box she was afraid they would shake noticeably. "It's nice to meet you, I'm your Secret Santa this year," she added.

Afraid that she was unable to really postpone the gift-giving, she held the box out to him. Inside of it was a pair of gloves she had sourced from the fine materials of her Pantheon. She had ordered a pair to be made out of some of the finest materials to exist within the universe, and to be expertly crafted. Her Goddess status had enabled her to be a priority and the product had arrived just outside the planet in just over a day. The result was a soft but warm material, somewhere between silk and thin velvet, with a slight elasticity to them so they would fit well. They were blue in colour with very fine yellow-gold threading along the seams and to create designs, to match the pigmentation of Emery's hair and eyes. The designs were intricate imagery of the sea, where Peace had heard he came from, and gradually turned into land towards the fingers. This was supposed to symbolise his transition from where he used to live up to the present. With a "Merry Christmas," she handed him the gift and hoped he was satisfied with them, at least.

She was so sweet! Like a little flower that was both delicate and strong if that was even possible. He smiled when she admitted to being his secret Santa. "I am yours!" With a gleeful smile, he affirmed their common reason for meeting up. It was special this year, as he didn't feel like he was so alone. When he was given the box, his eyes glazed over her, seeing that she was nervous but rather confident. Emery smiled and nodded. "Thank you, will open now." The boy put the girl's box on a nearby ledge. It seemed that what he was expecting wasn't even close to what he got. The water boy had expected maybe a bar of chocolate or something simple like that.

When he got a glimpse of the gloves inside, he froze. He took one out, giving every millimetre of it a good ten seconds of his eyes. For him, this was the prettiest thing that anyone could have ever given him. He felt stupid, but there was no way they he couldn't cry then. "H-How? So perfect..." He knew his broken English wouldn't be enough to tell the girl how much this meant to him. He took off his current gloves and placed them in his pockets before gently slipping each one of them on. They fit like they were meant for him- his little worrying body seemed to shake.

"Love it. Thank you." Emery sniffled, wiping his nose on the arm of his jacket. "Best thing. Will very cherish." He couldn't be emotional right now; he needed to make sure that he could at least give the girl her present without breaking down. He put the box beside the girl's present, before smiling and almost cradling his hands. "Can hug you?" He asked, offering open arms for her. He would for sure be pampering this girl for the rest of her life.
