After the Crash!

Ellie, calmly sat in the Admissions Office, a bright smile covering her face – considering what the events of just a few minutes prior would make this seem slightly odd. The girl sat on one of the tall and soft chairs in one of the corners of the room, dressed from to toe in her 'clown' gear; a purple jester hat with bells on each of the prongs which jumped from the central hat, a ruffled collar and dress emblazoned with the union jack with matching tights with no shoes at all, although now it looked a little worse for wear.

It was thickly coated in a layer of soil, mud and loose grass and parts of it was ripped or torn in places. Her short legs dangled over the edge of the tall chair, she was placed in after she was picked up and sent straight to the Admissions Office. Her short legs dangled over the edge of the tall chair, she was placed in after she was picked up and sent straight to the Admissions Office. Just a few minutes prior; Ellie was crashing to the ground in an uncontrollable free fall – landing like a nuclear bomb into the grassy verges which sat aside the school ground. It was now decorated with a massive crater which had ruined the well-designed agriculture.

The fae wings on her back smouldered and smoked. But now, she was waiting to see what she had to do now; watching the various students and teachers past her; giving them bright smiles as they passed her.

She was finally a high school student!

Iris (the character in my avatar)

It was a testament to how clumsy Iris could be when she didn't even have to use her flight to crash. She was just walking off normally, minding her business and paying attention to her path, when an unnaturally loud crashing noise made her crash into a lamppost in turn. Just when she was starting to feel proud from not having bumped into anything or anyone in a while.

She looked at the origin of the noise while rubbing the bridge of her nose, cold steel having whacked it to an annoyingly light red. Having crashed so much over the course of her life made Iris resilient, but that still hurt her. Luckily she didn't crash into the dirt this time - she was wearing her favorite blazer and a freshly-washed gray skirt, which was not meant for dirt.

Faintly, she could make out some sort of figure letting out smoke and colored so vividly that she stood out against the drab backdrop of the school yard. It was most likely yet another person, and even if the scene seemed rather surreal it was to be expected in this place. She paid it no heed and carried on, once again drifting into a distracted haze of thoughts while walking.

Minutes later, she noticed she somehow drifted into the inside of the university. Navigating back outside would be easy, were it not for what she noticed out the corner of her eye as she made a motion to leave. It was a tiny girl, dressed in a flag of tea leaves and deadpan humor. Her attire was... unique, to say the least. And it was dirty.

Disregarding how the girl didn't know her at all, Iris stepped in close and leaned in with a smile to lightly pat the dirt out of the girl's clothes. "I'm going to guess you were the one who made that loud noise earlier?"

Unit was taking a stroll around the Academy, she was still relatively new to the place so she decided to take her "I'm not lost, just wandering" walks. Yes, she's lost.

Today's outfit was a light gothic lolita dress designed for long walks along with her iconic blue alice bow. She wore a short sleeved blouse topped with a white cutsew filled with black rose patterns. Her skirts frills would fight anyone who would say, "There isn't enough" puffed, dramatized by the big black bow at her back. She wore white thigh-highs in her 2-inch platformed Mary Janes. She held a thick book on her left hand and carried a bunch of assorted snacks and sweets on her dark blue sling bag- which was almost half her size.

She dragged herself down towards the Admissions Office to ask for directions. Approaching the building, she noticed a figure crashing down at high speeds a few blocks away, she estimated to be at the grounds of the Admissions Office. She felt the ground thud. Unit worried that someone might have gotten hurt or seriously injured, ran towards the building, leaving a track of assorted sweets along the way.

Upon reaching her destination, she saw a girl wearing a joke of a dress, a blasphemy of a hat with accessories of filth. The girl was cute, although she couldn't call her little because she would end up arguing with herself. "My oh my~!" Unit exclaimed, approaching the fae. She couldn't such a cute being dressed like that for long, covered in grass and terror. Almost at the same time, someone, too, approached the fae a few seconds before her.

In his daily travels, Fluffy had somehow drifted into the school again. At this point, nobody seemed to mind his presence; This was both due to the fact that he didn't exactly stand out in an environment filled with... just about any old sentient thing who wanted to learn, really, and that he'd been here several times already. People probably just assumed him to be part of the school in some way by now.

He was just wandering around aimlessly, until he stumbled across a trail of assorted sweets on the ground. What would someone naturally do if presented with food? Eat it, of course. And that's just what the naive horned beast did. The trail led him straight to the admissions office, not that he really cared what it was. Especially if there was more candy on the other sideof that door. He walked right in, only to be disappointed at the lack of any more food. Ah well. He still carried some of the sweets he found and was still in the process of eating them.

Tanau was casually flying around above the facility, sucking on a chupa that rested in his mouth, before his train of thought (God knows what exactly that was, though it might have been related to humour, given the way he was smirking the whole time) was interrupted by a loud crash from somewhere behind him. He immediately stopped in his tracks and turned to see a rather large (and impressive) crater some distance away.

He flew in the direction of the crater, before stopping at a distance and height that allowed him to see what was happening without being spotted himself, just in case something else interesting was going to happen. It soon turned out that his suspicious were right- there was something- no, someone, lying there in the centre of the crater. He was going to take a closer look, but someone else had apparently also seen the crash and was approaching the figure. A moment later, they were carrying the figure to the admissions office.

In the corner of his eye was yet another figure, eating from a trail of small objects (probably candies?) that also led to the admissions office; He immediately recognised that figure as Fluffy, a rather unique member of the Midnight Circus. What was he doing at the school? Eh whatever. He wanted to see what was up with the crater anyways, so he followed Fluffy into the office. He immediately caught a glimpse of something that was not quite like the others- The girl sitting on one of the seats, wearing battered and torn clothing covered in dirt and grass. With smoke coming from her wings. She must have been the one that crashed earlier. With a smirk, he walked right over to her and the other two that surrounded her.

"So, I'm guessing you're new here? If so, welcome to Manta Carlos."

Richard Trickson was wandering about when he heard the loud crash. The rocker, having nothing better to do with his time, decided to go check it out. He immediately recognized Fluffy, since he worked with the creature at the circus. The star walked up, noticing a girl, still smoking. Ah, she must have crashed.

"Have no fear, Richard Trickson is here! What seems to be the problem?" He asked, walking up proudly, his guitar slung across his back with care.

He heard it.

Yeah, of course he heard it, he was less than 50 meters away from the crash site! But Hal had better things to do and it involved school so for once, he brushed off his curiosity of possibly something really interesting that he could put on his blog (that he never talks about publicly).

But that was short-lived as his class dismissed way too early as planned. The one thing that was stopping him from doing anything crazy. But here he was, looking out a window and observing the crater which was left by the ~mysterious~ explosion. He was so curious. So very curious.

His curiosity led him to the crash site to notice clues. There was a trail of dirt and grass that lead to a building and after that was... a trail of candy wrappers? The dirt trail didn't actually end yet. It wasn't over.

The first thing that came to mind was "why wasn't anyone cleaning this?" and second was "what sort of creature did this?" It was simply those two questions that plagued him. After which, he was led to the admissions office. Yeah, I totally haven't been here, he thought to himself.

Walking into the office, he could immediately notice who he was looking for. It was pretty obvious by the looks of her, covered in dirt and all. Surrounded by others. He didn't hesitate to walk up to her and joined the crowd. She didn't look like an alien visitor. She looks more like a fairy. A burnt one.

Hal sighed, cutting off everyone as he cleared his throat, "You know, while you guys are concerned about her being the cause of the loud explosion earlier, I think you might need to reconsider that she looks like a mess." Oh no, Hal wasn't reserved enough to not point that out.
