Yoka Sake had reached a dilemma.

After returning to Manta Carlos after a brief stint in America to check on her franchises, she was displeased to return to her favorite club and discover that management had gone lax and the place was in shambles. She was not going to allow a bunch of drunken tengu to ruin her good name because they broke the cardinal rule and drank at work.

Ugh.

She'd fired them all and did the only thing a reasonable business woman could do. She was hosting a career day at the club. It functioned as something of an open house, too, since it was rare that The Cross Fox was open during daylight hours.

Yoka was in her female form, dressed in a tight orange blouse, a pair of slacks, and a matching sweater. Her dark hair was pulled up and she had on a pair of glasses and ruby lipstick. She was sitting at a desk she'd placed in the entrance way of the building, while one of her security guards offered tours of the building.

The fox was hiring, she just needed to find the right people.

"Maybe I could actually like this?" She said calmly as she stared blankly at the building in front of her. she had heard many rumors about the building before her. A place of exotic dancing, and by the looks of the building, it could use the special touch of Kiyana, as she found that it felt as if there was something missing. Something new, to make her even more adventurous, would most biweekly benefit her, as she found that she was continuing to take risks on events and her choices, which paid off. "One. Two. Three!" Kiyana whispered to herself as she entered the threshold of 'The Cross Fox'. Smiling and sighing loudly as she twirled twice before stopping to look where she had to go, she was already sensing a good vibe from the area. Looking to her side, she blinked rapidly at a funny looking bodyguard, walking up to him, an arm and hand extended. "Well hello there." She then quickly moved over to the desk, where a beautiful lady was sitting. "And hello." She nodded to her slightly, a bit overexcited. "I'm Kiyana, nice to meet you...?" She said as an almost question, uncertain of how to greet the lady.

Yoka looked up from her clipboard as a girl walked in, spun a few times, and approached her body guard.

"Well hello there."

The girl moved quickly from her body guard to herself.

"And hello.I'm Kiyana, nice to meet you...?"

"I am Yoka," Yoka introduced herself, motioning to a chair across from her. "Sit, sit, you have shown up for my open house, you must have many questions for me, yes?"

Yoka gave the girl before her a once over. She was already impressed by the girl's bubbliness when she came in--the twirl was indeed a nice move.

Working at a club like this required a lot more than being attractive; really, most customers will ogle anything with the right lighting. It required personality, the ability to talk to someone who had a bad day, celebrate with someone out for a party, and knowing how to switch between these feelings as you walked across the room. She was hiring entertainers and would treat them as such.

Nodding lightly to the girl's gesture to sit down across from her. "I love that name, and thank you." Observing the chair before sitting down, she looked it over as she slowly sat herself onto of it with ease. It was comfy for her, but she found herself moving a few times int eh first few seconds of sitting down. Not wanting to focus on it, she adjusted herself to be able to talk without her wanting to move, before she started up with her questions. "Well yes, I had a few questions that I wanted to ask you." Kiyana said as she blinked at the girl happily. "This is the first place I've actually really been interested in, and.. I didn't even know this was an open house today, but I guess the home feeling that I got form here was a good indicator." Even though she knew that she was blabbing, she couldn't help herself. "I just wanted to ask as to why you wanted to have an open house? Are you looking to hire, or the sell the building, or to bring more customers?" She tilted her head lightly."Because I really like this place, it seems fun, and it's a good place to do twirls in. It has nice floors. A good scent too." She smiled warmly at the girl as she decided to let the girl answer some, or none of her questions. She just hoped that Yoka hadn't found her annoying.

DJ literally couldn't believe she was doing this. She couldn't believe that she was even considering doing something like this. No shade being thrown at strippers--they have the athleticism to destroy most football players, she's found--but never, in all her life, did she think that she would ever, EVER consider becoming one. Well, it was always a possibility back home, but she didn't like to think about that.

Besides, she wasn't home. She was on the island.

Sid had agreed to take Tevyntr for a few hours so she didn't have to bring him, but she knew that it wouldn't always be possible for her to rely on him when she had to work, and unlike her music business, she couldn't just cancel willy nilly when no one came to watch her little pride and joy. DJ could see it before her and in startling clarity, carrying Tev into a stripper bar at 3 o'clock, his eyes wide as saucers as he munched on his afternoon snack.

A shudder wracked her at the thought.

Still, as she walked into the establishment, she had to accept that there was nothing she could do. There would be says when she would have to bring him to work with her, and the thought of those days made a brick of dread form in her stomach.

She wasn't sure what clothes you wore for an interview for a stripper's gig, so she just wore her normal clothes.

"Hello?" she said, walking to the establishment. Was she interrupting something?

Yoka gave a slow, long blink.

Good lords did this girl have energy.

She was about to formulate a response to at least one of the questions when the heard another voice and looked up to see a second speaker.

"Hello?"

"Come, come," Yoka said. "Join us, grab a seat."

She motioned for the new girl to sit down next to Kiyana, with the full intention of answering all their questions at once, and then giving them a tour of the place.

"I am Yoka," she introduced herself. "And I'm the owner and manager of The Cross Fox. I was just about to give Kiyana the scoop on the business here, and when we're finished, I'll take you both on a tour. Do you have any questions before I begin?"

She decided to answer one of Kiyana's questions, and to give the newcomer a bit of background, too. "I have been managing establishments like these for a long time. The Cross Fox is just one of my many establishments. Today, I have chosen to have an Open house in the hopes of finding new workers. I am looking to fill a variety of positions.

The kitsune stood up from her desk for a second, grabbing a clipboard from somewhere behind her, then sat back down, addressing the two women before her.

"I like to believe I am a fair boss. I look out for my own, but I do not appreciate being double crossed--"she flinched, then gave a toothy smile. "Pardon the pun, of course. I let many of my previous staff members go because they were no longer doing the work that was assigned to them, and broke my cardinal rule of no drinking while working."

She took a moment to lean back in her chair, letting the two women process what she had said and give them a moment or two to ask any more questions. She'd answer the rest of Kiyana's questions after she heard more from the newcomer.

Rayn was walking down the street sucking on a lollipop. "A strip club... I'm down. Guys like me, why not get some money while doing it?"

A fairly tall woman steps through the door wearing a black biker jacket, blue shirt, tight blue jeans and black shoes. It seems like everything she did was in slow motion. "She took the lollipop out of her mouth and slowly licked her lips. She also flipped her straight hair. "Where do I go now?"

She was waved in and nodded, walking towards her with a purposeful, charismatic stride. Today she would have to put her best foot forward. This would be the first job she'd actually applied to in years, and the last thing she wanted to do was make a bad impression and fuck everything up before she'd even had a chance to show exactly what she was capable of doing.

DJ sat herself carefully in the chair and listened to what Yoka told her about her establishment, the Cross Fox. She tried to be attentive, but her mind kept wandering to what she would be expected to do, and if she would even be able to do it. The technomancer wasn't weak, by any stretch of the word, but was she strong enough to strip?

All of a sudden every thought bounced back to Yoka when she mentioned that she was looking for a variety of positions. Did that mean that she might not have to strip? That made sense--this was a strip club after all, and you couldn't run a strip club if all you had was strippers. You needed bartenders, waitresses, busladies...

And DJs.

Would she be able to DJ at the strip club? To her that would be the most ideal situation.

But there were only two--

"Where do I go now?"

--three of them. At least one of them would end up on the pole.

For the moment, Yoka kept talking and she was honestly ignoring the new girl. Her mind was working as she tried to think of a way that she could get the DJ job--not that she wanted to avoid being a stripper, she just felt like she would do a better job with something in her element.

When Yoka finished talking, DJ started to ask her own questions.

"Then, you have openings for position other than being a stripper?" She asked. "What other positions are open?"

Smiling brightly as she waited for Yoka to answer her questions, she was interrupted by someone else coming in, most likely being here for the same reason as Kiyana. Frowning lightly, she looked behind her, following the girl to where she sat down, right beside her. For once, she would have rather to be alone with the pretty girl, rather than have anyone else barge in. It wasn't her choice though, so she turned towards the girl, gives her a short smile, then faced the other girl across from them. 'Hopefully she can answer some of my questions.' She thought to herself as the girl reached behind her to get a clipboard of some sort. Kiyana was awfully quiet, wanting no part to disturb the nice peace that they had established between the three of them.

Perking up as she addressed one of Kiyana's questions, she paid close attention and kept her eyes on the girl, even after she had finished talking. Opening her mouth to give her a reply, she was interrupted by the girl beside her, and then by someone behind them all. Turning around, she saw someone else standing in the doorway. "Hello there!" She shouted to the girl, giving her a sweet smile. Nodding lightly, she turned back to her front, gave a short smile to the girl across from her, then listened again as she girl beside her once again talked. "I am pretty sure she was going to say that, ma'am." She looked over at the girl, smiled, and turned back. "I mean I'm pretty sure we all don't want the same job, nor would that even be fun to do." She kept her reply rather short, not wanting to disrupt the other girls in the room.
